(Clearing) Third Persons POV

The dead werewolves lie in a pile next to a bonfire. Brady carries another body of a dead friend over his shoulder and places him on the pile. Brady looks over at Jules, who is watching the fire burn the bodies, Jules looks up at him, sadly. Wordlessly, they walk over to Stevie, who is pacing in front of the trailer.

"Go ahead. Tell her" Brady tells him.

"Let me just preface this with a big disclaimer that screams, I should have known better" Stevie states.

"What is it, Stevie?" Jules asks.

"When Brady told me what that Tyler kid said about Mason being here for the moonstone, something clicked. There was this moment back in Florida when I suspected Mason was up to something because he was banging that hot, vampire chick Kathy and he didn't want anyone to know" Stevie states.

"All right. Just get to the point, Stevie" Jules tells him feeling agitated.

"That is the point, Jules. It's the sun and moon curse. Mason was asking me all kinds of questions about it, if it could be broken, and when that evil man-witch showed up last night, double-click. Witches, vampires, moonstone. They're putting everything in place to break the curse" Stevie explains.

"We can't let them do that, even if we have to kill every last vampire in this town" Brady states.

"We'll need Taylor on our side, we'll need her strength" Stevie states.

"No we don't" Jules denies.

"Yes we do, if she knew the vampires were planning on breaking the curse. She'd side with us, to protect Tyler" he states.

"No, we tell her nothing. That's an order Stevie" Jules tells him. "I'm gonna contact Tyler, he maybe able to help us find the girl needed for the sacrifice" she states. "But no one tells him the girl has to die" she orders. Then goes inside to grab her phone.

Taylor's POV

It's the day after Caroline was kidnapped. According to Stefan she is fine, she had a sleep over with her two best friends. I'm glad she is ok. She didn't deserve what happened to her. No one deserves that. I didn't see Tyler when I got home and he wasn't home this morning. I hope he is not with Jules.

I'm enjoying a morning coffee when Carol appears. "Hi, how was the memorial?" I ask her.

"It was uneventful" she states. "I'm hosting a Historical Society's High Tea Party here, care to join?" she asks.

"Oh why not? Sounds fun" I tell her. "When is it?" I ask her.

"In an hour" she states.

"I'll go get dress then" I tell her. "Hey, where's Tyler?" I ask her.

"Something about meeting a friend" she tells me. The door bell rings. "That'll be the catering" she states and goes to answer the door. I go upstairs and have a quick shower. Before changing into a knee length cocktail dress. I pair it with some kitten heels. I do a light layer of foundation. With a little eye-shadow and massacre. I brush my hair leaving it down. I spray my neck with my favourite perfume, before heading down.

"Well, what do you think?" I ask Carol as I show her my dress.

"You clean up nice" she states. "Anyway, catering is all sorted and guests should be arriving shortly. I'm just going to go change" she tells me. I nod and she heads upstairs.

(Time skip)

The party has started and the guest of honour just arrived. Turns out to be Elijah. "Taylor allow me to introduce you to Elijah. Elijah my sister in law, Taylor Lockwood" Carol says.

"Pleasure to meet you" I say.

"Please, the pleasure is mine" he says kissing my hand.

"So what is it you do Elijah?" I ask him.

"I'm a historian, I am writing a book and I am hare doing research" he states.

"Have you spent much time in Richmond for your book? There's such a wealth of history there" Coral suggests.

"No, I'm focusing mostly on the smaller regions of Virginia. Lots of research. Strictly academic" he tells her.

"That's fascinating" she states.

"Any other hobbies?" I ask him.

"Well I enjoy traveling, what about you Miss Lockwood?" he asks.

"I traveled a bit myself, until I settled in Florida" I tell him.

"Damon" Carol says with a smile as he joins us. They great each other warmly. "Hi. Elijah, I want you to meet Damon Salvatore. His family is one of Mystic Falls' founding families" she states.

"Such a pleasure to meet you" Damon says.

"No, pleasures mine" Elijah tells him and they shake hands.

"I'm going to go get a drink" I tell them excusing myself. As I was looking for one. I pump into a familiar face. "Andie?" I ask surprised.

"Taylor" she says in a flat tone.

"Wow you've grown" I state.

"It has been seventeen years" she reminds me.

"Guess you haven't forgotten either" I say sadly.

"How could I forget? My big sister died because of you" she snaps lightly.

"See you followed in her footsteps. She'd be proud of you" I tell her. "I am sorry about Molly" I add.

"Don't say her name, you have no right" she tells me.

"Ok, enjoy the party" I tell her and go outside for fresh air. I decide to call Caroline. I may have gotten her number from Liz.

"Hello" a guy says.

"Tyler? Why do you have Caroline's phone?" I ask him. "Actually where are you?" I ask him.

"Let's go get our doppelgänger" I hear someone say.

"Was that Brady? Tyler, where the hell are you?" I demand. But the call cuts off and I curse.

"Something wrong?" Elijah asks.

"Jules and the pack are up to something" I tell him. "I just heard Brady with Tyler, said something about getting a doppelganger" I state. I try to think of who they could be after. "Oh no, Elena's in danger" I state.

"You sure?" he asks.

"Tyler must of told them she looks like Kathy, not know Elena has to die. But they can't break the curse without the moonstone" I state.  "Where's Damon?" I ask him.

"He just left" he states.

"Ok, I'm going after Tyler and Brady to save Elena. You go save Damon" I tell him.

"Do I have too?" he asks.

"You made a deal with Elena" I remind him.

"That I did, need help?" he asks me.

"I can handle Brady" I assure him. "Just need to change" I state. I go to my room and change clothes. I try to call Tyler and he doesn't answer. I curse and turn on the app that connects me to Tyler's phone. I may have installed it last night. It allows me to track him, as long as his phone is on. Luckily it's on and it seems to be heading away from town towards  Dunham Lake. If I remember correctly the Gilberts have a house up there.

I get in my car and set off. Following Tyler's phone. Praying I get there before it's to late. I'd been driving for a couple of hours when my phone rings. I answer. "Tyler thank god, are you alright?" I ask him.

"Does the doppelganger have to die to break the curse?" he asks me.

"Yes Tyler" I tell him. He curses. "Tyler I am almost there, don't let Brady leave with Elena" I tell him. He agrees and hangs up. I arrive and screech to a halt outside the house to see Stefan kill Brady as he went after Elena. I sigh in relief, glad she's ok.

I get out of the car and see Tyler. "Aunt Taylor" he says with tears in his eyes. I run over and hug him tightly.

"You're ok, everything is ok" I assure him. He hugs me tightly. Before looking at Elena.

"I didn't know what they were gonna do to you. I didn't. I just...I don't want to be like this anymore" he tells Elena. She pulls away from Stefan and walks over to Tyler. They stare at each other for a moment and Elena embraces him. Tyler wraps his arms around Elena. "I'm sorry, Elena" he says.

"It's ok" she tells him. They continue to embrace as Stefan watches with a sigh of relief.

"You ok?" I ask him.

"I'll live" he assures me.

"I'm sorry I wasn't here sooner, had I known" I say.

"I don't blame you or Tyler" he assures me.

"I'm gonna take Tyler home" I tell him.

"I'll deal with the body" he tells me. I nod my head as Tyler steps away from Elena.

"Sorry to interrupt your weekend" I tell her.

"What's life without drama?" she asks me. "Take care of Tyler" she tells me.

"Always" I tell her. I wrap an arm around Tyler. "Lets go home" I tell him and we leave. "Where's Jules?" I ask him.

"She and the others went after Damon to search for the moonstone" he states.

"Of course they did" I mutter. "Most likely dead by now" I state.

"Dead?" he asks.

"A very powerful vampire went after them while I came after you" I state. Just then my phone rings. "Jules, surprised to hear you alive" I state.

"The others are all dead" she cries.

"So is Brady" Tyler tells her.

"You nearly got my nephew killed Jules" I sneer.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry" she cries.

"Tyler and I are gonna leave town, you're welcome to join us. But know you are not alpha" I tell her.

"I submit to you" she tells me.

"Good, meet at the Lockwood house. Tyler and I will be there in a couple of hours" I tell her before hanging up.

"We're leaving?" Tyler asks.

"You need to learn how to shift properly, somewhere vampire free" I tell him. "Do you trust me?" I ask him. He nods his head.

(Time skip)

Tyler and I left a letter each for his mother. And packed our essentials. I then drove us to the grill with Jules. As Tyler wanted to say goodbye to Matt. He soon gets back into the car. "I'm sorry about Brady and your friends, but if I'm gonna go with you, no more lies" he tells Jules.

"No more lies" Jules says. "You both are doing the right thing" she adds.

"I can't stay here, not like this" Tyler states.

"We'll be back one day" I assure him as I put the car into drive. We leave town.

"We going to Florida?" he asks.

"Nope, it'd be the first place they'd look" I tell him.

"So where are we going?" he asks.

"Tennessee" I tell him. I put on the radio as we pass the Mystic Falls welcome sign. "Good bye Mystic Falls" I say.
