Louis was on a small break from the meeting with Jannet , he sat at one of the Cafe tables with hot chocolate and a cupcake , when Winter walked into the place , looking quite lost .

"Winter ." He called her , Winter turned her head towards him and walked up to him quickly , sitting in front of him , "I need advice ."

Louis raised his eyebrows , "Is everything okay ?"

"Yeah , well no . But , I just - I don't know ." Winter pushed her hair back , Louis put his hand on her arm , "Talk to me ."

She sighed and leaned her head on her hand . "I think I still love Liam ."

"What made you realize that ?"

"I was out with Brennen last night , and we had a great time . I kept telling myself that Brennen is a good guy , that he can help me move on , but in the back of my mind I was comparing him to Liam subconsciously ." She played with her nails a little . "I like Brennen , he's great , but I can't get over Liam , I just love him ."

"Do you think you'd give Liam another chance if you could ?" Louis rubbed her arm comfortingly .

"Yeah , maybe . I mean , I rejected him so I'm not sure he wants me anymore . But as much as I want to move on and forget the pain he caused me , but at the same time I want up to keep having good memories together ."

Louis pouted a little , taking her hand in his own . "Tell you what ; take yourself some time off both of them to think things over , I really want to help you but I can't decide for you . Also , you should explain the situation to Brennen , you can't leave him hanging ."

"I know , it's just so hard . He'll hate me for doing this to him ."

"He wouldn't , he will understand ."

"I hope so ."

Louis pushed the cupcake over to her , she pulled a small bite and brought it up to her mouth , "I'm scared , Lou ."

"You shouldn't be , you just need to be honest ." Louis smiled softly before taking a sip of his hot chocolate . "Want me to get you something to drink ?"

"No , I'm going out for lunch with my brother , I just really needed to come here and talk to you ."

Louis nodded and gave her hand a squeeze , she squeezed his hand back , "I should get going now . I'll talk to you later ."

"Alright , see you ." He nodded and watched her leaving .

Louis let out a breath as he walked into his and Harry's house , "Hazzie ?"

"Kitchen !" Harry called , Louis took his shoes off in the entrace and placed his bag down , picking Peaches up and kissing her head as he walked into the kitchen .

"Hey Boo ." Harry smiled as he turned the oven off , "Just finished making lunch , go get in comfy clothes and come down to eat ."

Louis nodded , "But I want a kiss first ." 

Harry leaned down and pressed their lips together , pulling back when Peaches licked his cheek and barked cutely .

"You want a kiss too ?" Harry chuckled and kissed her small head , petting her head softly . He took her from Louis' arms so Louis could go change , he kissed her head once more before putting her down .

He filled two plates with food while Milky was meowing at the smell , looking down at her and laughing when she clawed her way up his sweatpants .

"You little menace ." He took her off him when she reached his upper thigh and placed her back down , taking the two plates to the dining table .

He returned to the kitchen and filled two glasses with orange juice and brought it to the table when Louis walked out of the bedroom .

"What took you this long ?" Harry asked ; it usually takes Louis less than a minute to change , though now it took him several minutes .

"I was texting Winter ." Louis said and sat near the table , Harry joining him . "Is everything okay ?"

"Yeah , well - it's just , she came over to the Cafe while I was on my break , and she looked slightly down , perhaps confused . She told me she came to realization that no matter how hard she tries , she still has feelings for Liam . She likes Brennen , but he's not Liam . So she's going to talk to them both today ."

"Oh wow ."

"Yeah , and I'm just a little curious to what's going to happen ." Louis took a bite of his food .

Harry smiled softly , "I trust her to make the decision that's right for her ."

"Me too . Though we'll still need to have a talk with Liam , whether they get together or not ."

After lunch Harry shooed Louis to the living room to take a nap , promising to join him when he's done tidying the kitchen .

"But Hazziiiiie , I won't be able to fall asleep without back scratches , clean the kitchen later ." Louis whined into his back , his arms circling Harry's middle and his face squished into the middle of his spine .

Harry chuckled as he kept washing the dishes , "Just ten more minutes , lovely . Don't be impatient , I'll give up the back scratches ."

Louis whined again . "Then I'll just stay here until you finish ."

Harry smiled fondly and finished washing the dishes a few minutes later , turning around in Louis' arms and kissing his forehead . "Nap time ."

Louis jumped up and wrapped his arms and legs around Harry , Harry caught him and carried him to the living room , playfully dropping him on the couch .

"Make room for me ." Harry said and grabbed the soft blanket from the back of the couch , Louis let Harry slip in next to him and placed himself half on Harry half on the couch .

"Hazzie , gimmie my back scratches ." Louis said tiredly into Harry's bare chest , Harry raised his eyebrows and poked his side a few times . "Magic word ?"

Louis giggled and pushed his hand away , "Jus' gimmie back scratches !"

"Say the magic word ." Harry tickled him some more . "Starts with P ."

"Peasant , gimmie back scratches !" Louis said through giggles , Harry stopped to laugh loudly before tickling him again , "No , try again ."

"Please ! P-please !"

"There we go ." Harry stopped with a wide smile , Louis panted and slapped his bicep , "That was mean of you ."

"That's what you get for being sassy ." Harry brought him closer .

"You love it when I'm sassy , though ."

"Mm , absolutely love it ."

After talking to Brennen and apologizing a million times , Winter found herself at Liam's front door . She took a few deep breaths before knocking , playing with her fingers .

Liam opened the door seconds later , giving her a small smile , "Hey . Come in ."

She walked in and waited for him to close the door before following him to the living room . He sat down and patted the seat next to him . "What is it that you wanted to talk to me about ? Are you okay ?"

"I am . Well - yeah , just .. I just need to be honest with you ." She said and pushed her hair back . "The past three weeks that Brennen and I have been seeing each other , and it was great , I wouldn't lie . He's a great guy . And , and I believed myself when I told myself I was doing okay ."

Liam couldn't help but look away as she talked about Brennen .

"But , but I guess I've been lying to myself just to make myself feel better ." She looked down to her lap , "When I was with Brennen I kept telling myself that he's great and he'll help me move on , but my subconscious was comparing him to you ."

Liam's head snapped towards her , eyebrows raised in surprise and mouth hanging slightly open .

"I pushed it away as much as I could , but I can't anymore . I might have told myself that I don't love you anymore , but I lied , because I still do . I never stopped , even when I tried convincing myself and everyone around me that I did ."

She turned a little to face him , her face red with blush . "I still love you , and I can't ignore that . I know I've been harsh , but - but it was self-protection . You probably moved on aswell , maybe you found someone else . But I just wanted to say that I'm sorr - mmph ."

Liam cut her off by pressing his lips to hers gently , hands holding her cheeks . He pulled back and shook his head , "You're wrong . I should say sorry , for everything I put you through . I tried moving on , but nobody compared to you . I still love you too ."

Winter bit her lower lip taking one of Liam's hands off her cheek to hold in her small ones . "I want us to get back together , but it's going to be a long progress ."

"I'm ready for everything you challenge me with ." Liam said , making Winter smile a little .

"Please never let me down again ." She said quietly , Liam shook his head and pecked her lips , "Never ever . I lost you once , I wouldn't handle a second time ."

"There won't be a second time , right ?"

"No , there won't ." Liam brought her into his arms , cuddling her against his chest . "I love you ."

"Love you too Li ." She whispered . "Oh , and I'm going to have to talk to my dad , he's pretty upset with you ."

"He has a reason ."

"He keeps his shotgun under his bed ever since that day ."

Liam's eyes widened , making Winter giggle a little , "Don't worry , he won't do anything , I got this ."

Sooo Liam and Winter are on their way to get back together .
