yoongi brought an other chair next to his best friend and started to look at taehyung's drawing. his look first showed he was kinda skeptical, but the more pages he turned the more impressed he turned.
hoseok was right when he said their styles were the opposite, but he was also right when he said they would be a good duo. he glanced back at te potential new designer and noticed his focused gaze on his works and hoseok.
since he wasn't looking at him, yoongi took the time to appreciate his soft features, going from his tanned skin which contrasted with his blond long bangs, slightly covering his round eyes.
he had pulled his sleeves up due to the stress and yoongi noticed how perfect his skin looked. his eyes travelled to his neck and it was also perfect.
"have you got any tattoos?" he couldn't help but ask. there was a short silence before taehyung realized he was talking to him and replied.
"oh no, and i don't want to get one actually." the two boys in front of him raised an eyebrow in confusion. they looked at each other and back at the younger.
"so.. you wanna work in a tattoo shop.. but you don't like tattoos?" yoongi asked, his voice filled with confusion.
"i like tattoos, i mean like yours look incredibly gr- i mean i-i hum jimin has gotten some and they look very good.. it's just that i don't want any on me, but i would actually like to have people having my designs craved into their skin."
yoongi found his stuttering adorable but chose not to talk about it, since it would make the shy boy uncomfortable and their discussion was starting to get more serious.
the older nodded and looked at hoseok. "what do you think?" his best friend looked up to him and hummed.
"i know you're not the type to make quick decisions, but you shouldn't think too much. this guy has talent, a lot, he could help you a lot. hiring him would probably attract more people since his style is different from yours."
taehyung was watching them discuss about him nervously, trying to focus on something else. he tried to focus on their expression to maybe find some positive answer but yoongi's face was blank.
his eyes landed on his strong hands covered in tattoos and kept on staring at them. he didn't understand why suddenly, tattoos seemed like the most beautiful ever invented when a couple of weeks ago, he found people covered in tattoos scary and ugly.
his attention came back when he heard hoseok talk seriously. "yoongi, you're already really popular, if you want to be even more famous, you have to trust people and relay on their talent. taehyung seems like a really kind guy, the customers will love him and he will probably help you relax!" he joked a small smile made its way on the older's lips.
yoongi handed back his sketches to taehyung and got up from his chair to stand in front of him. he jerked his head on the side and started to walk away. "follow me, i'll give you a tour."
taehyung smiled widely and followed him. they went through a black wooden door and the younger discovered two stair cases, one going up and the other going down, they took the latter.
they arrived in a rather dark area, and yoongi turned on the light to reveal a wooden themed basement with all the tattoo material. but what made taehyung confused was that only one person could work here.
"is it your work place? i thought you were more than one artist?" he asked and paced around the room, yoongi following close behind him.
"no, this is kook's. he's just started so he doesn't use it that much but it's his."
"where's yours?" taehyung asked again and turned around to look at his hyung. yoongi grabbed his wrist and led him to the stair case going up.
taehyung was impressed by the clear space he discovered. a whole wall was actually a glass wall, which let the sunlight come into the room. the wooden floor was white and most of the fournitures were black and dark grey.
other tattoo material were disposed on a table near a chair where the clients could sit or lay when they were getting tattooed.
"it's really pretty... i didn't think you'd like white and light. you kinda give the impression to be a vampire who only likes black or something.." taehyung mumbled and turned around when he heard a small chuckle.
yoongi was leaning against his desk and watched taehyung discover his work place.
"i like you"
DONT WORRY: if their relationship seems to be rushed at the beginning it's normal, yoongi is a flirt and he likes to make taehyung uncomfortable IT IS NOT LOVE ! it's totally in the plot so yeah don't worry, i won't rush it 💓
