'So im walking to the office to see Kelly. He is my childhood friend! I was just told that he is back! I'm so excited ot see him. As a kid, i used to think we were mates, crazy right? Well mates, even before they blood trade, we can feel each others pain. I still feel pain every once in while but as a kid it was daily. It was terrifying really. I think in my heart i still believe and hope we are mates. Oh! Here he comes! I'll write later!' I wrote in my diary. I looked up and smiled at Kelly.

Kelly started to run over to me as he saw me. I smiled as i held my arms out. I heard him crying in my chest. "Hey... wanna come over after school?" I asked.

Kelly looked at me grinning. "I'd love too!" He said with a soft laugh. My heart just exploded. I forgot how cute he is!!!

I hugged him tightly, but something didnt feel right. He smelled like blood... Like he did when we were kids... "Hey... Why do you smell like blood? Are they hurting you again? Like they did when you were a kid?" I asked. As kids his parents wouold beat him daily. I'd never told him i could feel the pain. But my dad knew. He came in while Kelly was getting beat. I told my dad, but he was waved off as kellys dad is the beta.

"I-" He stuttered. "How, how long have you know?" he asked shyly. It was so cute! He had started to skake.

"I've know since we were 10." I said bluntly.

"Why didnt you tell me?" He retorted.

"Its cause i felt t-the pain you felt!" I yelled. I took a deep breath. " I didnt want you to know i was weak. I didnt want you to think i pitied you."

"Thank you for not telling anyone." Kelly says. "Do you know if im still welcome to the pack?"

"No shit! Your my best friend. I'll make sure you are." I said sassily.

Harely walked over, with his usual scowl on his face, his scowl turned into a grin as he say Kelly. He stopped talking to his friends and ran over to kelly.

I stepped in front of the terrified looking Kelly. "Obviously, your excited. But is he and his sister welcome back to the pack?" I asked.

Harley sighed in exasperation. "I cant make that decision. But dad can." He said as he called dad.

The annoyed voiced of our dad answered. "What?! He answered "I'm in a meeting."

"More like mastupating.." I muttered.

"Holly Roselyn Kinsley!" Dad boomed.

I squeaked as Kelly laughed softly. HIs glistened as i looked at him. It was so beautiful.

"Is that kelly?" Dad asked.

"It is Alpha Kinsley." Kelly squeaked softly.

"Just call me Alpha. And i hope you realise that you are still part of the pack, so is your sister." He said sternly.

A grin grew on kellys face. "Thanks Alpha! Also Holly invited me over for dinner! Im coming over tonight."

"Thats great!" Dad said. "Will you bring lilly?"

"I'll try to bring her." He said as he start to bounce to bounce on his feet. He's nervous. Whats wrong?

"Dad, we need to get to class." Harl said. By the grin on his face, i think he is going to make us skip. Hell yea!

"Bye kids!" Dad said as he hung up.

Harley was now smirking. "We're skipping, and we are a;ready 30 minutes late for class, so Lets go."

"What if we go and get Lilly?" I piped in.

A smile grew on Caleb, Harley's beta, face. "Please!"

Harley nodded as he started to walk out the door. "Wait Lilly?!" He asked exasperated.
