Welcome Troublemakers to the FIRST ever round of TTBC!

We're so excited to have all of you join us and begin this journey with us.

(also, please ignore the fact that one of our founders is slightly obsessed with kpop and so things like the above will randomly appear from time to time)

ANYWAY, this round, our FIRST round will start today, Monday 1/18/21(18/1/21), and finish on Monday 1/25/21(25/1/21) at 3 pm US central time!

(For future reference 7-9 pm US central time will usually be the time new rounds are posted each Monday.)

Before we get to the reading assignments, we want to express how important it is to read the announcements at the beginning of each round. Some things will be repeated information like the commenting guidelines but there will also be important matters here as well. If there is ever anything major going on, this is where it will be. So, if you don't read it, you could miss something that plays a role in future rounds.

Our founders have also been experiencing some personal success. charlottemallory's book Ryder had a huge jump in reads after posting a spicy fun chapter and ChelseaFrey's book Kissing My Ex just hit 200k reads!

Normally we would welcome our new trial members, but everyone's new. So, WELCOME! Remember that your trial runs for your first two runs and that failure to complete either of those two rounds will result in a swift boot.

But we have confidence in all of you, so let's have fun and make this first round the best round!

This a reminder so there is no confusion, but if anyone has questions please feel free to ask.

-Read 2 chapters of your partner's book In BOTH chapters, leave 3 inline comments and 1 end of chapter comment

-Start all comments with #TTBC and please mark your end of chapter comments with "End comment" or "Final Review" or something of the sort.
-For end of chapter comments: The end of chapter comments can be no shorter than 6 sentences. We value quality here and expect you to give everything you can. Do not be generic. Be detailed. This is your time to shine and earn recognition to reach Ink Master status.
-The weekly question is not mandatory but will help your chances of reaching Ink Master status.
-To help separate the weekly question from the rest of your comment, we suggest the following layout:

- You can answer the weekly question for the BOTW as well to earn recognition and reach Ink Master Status
-If you are partnered with BOTW you do your regular partner reading and nothing else unless of course, you would like to read one extra chapter

When you are done your assignments, comment "Done" next to your name below with the chapters you have read and tag your admin.

When your comments have been verified, we will leave a ✔️ next to your name. To find out if you've earned a star for excellent feedback, look for a ⭐️ next to your name in the next round.

(Remember that receiving recognition three rounds in a row will grant you Ink Master status and every three consecutive rounds after will move you up a level.)

What's the most captivating part of this story so far?

Remember that answering the weekly question is not mandatory but does help to improve your chances of being recognized and gaining Ink Master status. If you choose to answer the question remember to do so in one of the end chapter comments in your partner's book(does not need to be answered for each chapter. Just one of the two.) and your end of chapter comment in BOTW. Also, make sure to separate your answer from the regular 6 sentences of your end chapter comment. Answering it within your 6 sentence minimum will result in your answer not counting towards recognition that week.

We want to quickly explain that the names of the groups are all different types of tattoos and each tattoo type chosen was based on what we thought might represent the genres within that group. Hopefully, you all enjoy them!
