The answer!
Yuri nodded with another kind smile, resting her pale long fingers and palms on the top of her chest, folding them. "I'm Yuri... If you didn't already hear..." She said rather timidly, letting out a quiet breath.
"So, that means you are Natsuki!" Your gaze softened as you tilted your (H/C) head towards the shortie, who gave you another questionable look.
"Yep." With a huff she averted her pink gaze, puffing out her cheeks slightly. With a slight pause you remembered that you were reserving a question for the pinkie.
"Wait wouldn't manga belong in the Anime club? Aren't they similar?" The girl's eyes widened and she let out a amall squeak.
"Manga IS literature!" Natsuki's baby hands curled up into tiny balls as her dagger-like eyes bore into you. She looked more annoyed than mad. You felt a little surprised by her reaction! With taking a step back you expressed how batteered you were by her reaction.
""Ehhh?" Was the only noise you could manage, cursing silently to yourself as that noize vibrated in your drying throat and made it sound pre-pubescent. Yuri's calm orchid eyes widened a little, though she spoke with a smooth and calm voice.
"N-Natsuki..." The woman trailed off casting you an apologetic glance, she mouthed a silent 'sorry' in your direction.
"I-I never said it wasn't! I just kind of f-found it odd that's all...!"Stammering, you twiddled your thumbs anxiously. Now the looming question invaded your brain. Is manga actually literature.
"Still it is literature! I don't care if Yuri and Monika disagree!" The tiny girl slumped a little, looking more childish by the way she pouted. You had to admit it was kind of cute by the way she acted, the teen energetically blew a few strands of straight hair off her forehead. There was another pause, as you thought about it.
"I'm not sure if it is literature. There's only one way to find out!" Placing your hands on your hips almost boldly, you look at the nearby bookshelves for a dictionary. Quickly you spotted one on the bottom shelf, among atlases and thesauruses crammed beside it. "I'll be back..." You murmured under your breath as you marched over and knelt, reaching for the large book. Taking a glance behind you, the two girls stared at you with curiosity, occasionally looking at each other. Taking the heavy book you hug it close to your body as you return to them, holding on it tightly so you wouldn't drop it. You carefully place it on a nearby desk and quickly search through the pages to the 'L' section, skimming your eyes over the thin pages. "Hmmm..." After a moment you find the definition of 'literature'. "It says here that literature is 'books and writings published on a particular subject'..." You state, chewing gently on your bottom lip to turn to anatsuki and Yuri. They both looked deep in thought, their magenta and orchid eyes clouded with concentration. Both were trying to determine the answer as much as you were. "I myself think that that Manga can count as literature..."
"W-well I mean... Hmm.... I guess technically it is.... Literature..." Yuri's voice sounded almost forced, like it was painful to say such a thing. Instantly you saw Natsuki's attitude change, her presence radiant, even a snarky smile crept across her face.
"Humph I told you so! I'm always right!" She placed her pale digits on her narrow hips, giving an affirmative strong nod, the manga was still clutched by her left hand. A smile crept across your lips as you thought how it was even cuter when she looked happy. Natsuki gave out a small chuckle and basked in her victory, Yuri had a very minimal smile on her face probably drained by the bundle of hot energy. In the end you couldn't blame her, she sure was a handful!
"Finally settled that debate?" You heard a bold voice from behind, turning around you see the brunette smiling at the two members sweetly. With a chuckle the bold long-haired girl looked down at you, making the anxiety inside rise from only her sparkling emerald green gaze.
"Mhm." Replying you look away for a moment, squirming from her being so oddly close to you, shifting so everyone could have room. It was quite inconvenient that the group was huddle by the corner in front of the open closet.
"Yep and as always! I'm right Monika!" The hothead stuck up her nose, wrinkling at the grinning girl beside you, she let out a low breathy chuckle.
"Ahaha! Of course you are!~" Monika giggled and turned towards you. "Hello (Y/N)! Welcome to the Literature Club! The name's Monika and I'm the club president. Sayori here is vice president!" The pale woman jerked her thumb towards the podium to the girl who had first greeted you and handed the organized pamphlet. Sayori was chatting with the boy you saw earlier, tugging on the edge on his sleeve excitedly, though you could not hear their conversation.
"Oh!" You slightly dip your head up and down. Monika nodded placing her hands on her hips.
"Everyone here are close friends with each other, since it's so small. It's been already an hour and no one has showed up yet..." The brunette furrowed her brow, looking slightly upset for a moment, only to replace it with that overly happy smile. "But at least you have showed up! Feel free to help yourself to some tea and cupcakes." Monika let out a chuckle as your tummy growled in response to those words. "Sounds like someone's hungry!" She exclaimed cheerfully as she glanced at the others.
