End of the festival!

Time flies by when you're having fun! Because as soon as you started reading the cute manga with Natsuki, it already seemed like it was time to go, sadly only a few curious people seemed to show up, and their poetry performance wasn't as glorified as they intended it to be. The brunette president stood at the podium scanning her green gaze across the room, letting out a quiet, almost defeated sigh from her lips.
"Alright everyone it's time to wrap it up!" Despite the very obvious pained expression on her face, her voice was peppy and good-natured as always. Even the loud, clumsy airhead looked a little upset as she stood next to the president, giving her a well deserved sympathy pat. It astounded you how she could pull something off like that, though Monika's face was faltering ever so slightly. The pink haired girl who was nearly huddle up against you perked her small head up at the woman, huffing in annoyance as she gazed around the room. Closing the paperback you hold it out in Natsuki's direction.
"Here, thanks for le-"

"Hey, you can borrow it and read the rest for tomorrow!" She interjected with a slight, very minimal genuine smile, like she was trying to hide her kindness once again. You were glad that she had been a lot less tense and seemingly more comfortable around you. Retracting your hand back you nod gratefully and flash a quick smile.
"Thank you Natsuki! The manga is really good, I'm surprised it's not a hit!" The manga consuming monster giggled a little and began to rise, stretching her muscles with a grunt she then dusted off her skirt. It was true that you enjoyed the manga so far, it reminded you a little bit of Sailor Moon, and Madoka magica. It was a true fit for the hotheaded girl, since her nature was pretty cute.

"Eh don't mention it, it's whatever. Just don't ruin the book or else!" Natsuki shrugged and began to lift the huge box of manga to put back in the closet. You yourself got up and carefully put the book in your schoolbag, you were definitely going to treat this like a newborn baby! Walking to the closet to grab a broom and dustpan you gaze behind you to check on the purple-haired beauty. Yuri had her head buried in a book, sinking in the back of the classroom as if wanting to be unnoticed, her eyes piercing and sliding over the pages elegantly, if reading could even be called that. It was a little weird how she read so fast, it was only a matter of seconds before she would turn a page, orchid eyes still focused intensely. Secretly you wish you could read that fast.
"Are you just gonna stare at her or...?" A cute female voice of fire and intensity made you jump, blinking a couple of times you feel heat rush to your cheeks.

"I-it's just she reads so fast... I-it's kind of... Interesting?" Scoffing Natsuki folded her arms and shook her head.

"Yeah, sure, sure! The way you were looking at Yuri makes me think you have a lady crush on her!"

"No no! Nothing like that! Jeez! I barely know her!" Exclaiming, your voice raising loud enough for all of the members to hear you, making them angle their heads towards the both of you. Embarrassment was too much of a familiar feeling, now you shrunk back a little and embraced your chest, eyes casting down to the floor. "S-sorry! I didn't mean to do that!" With a stammer you glance at Natsuki who is blushing as well, her sparkling pink eyes on you for a split second before looking into the now orange light the window was emitting from the sunlight. Quickly you sweep around the room without a word, face still burning the whole time. When you were finished, assisting the others too with taking down banners and other decorations Monika stopped you before you went out the door. The others by her side were beholding you in the spotlight from their colorful gazes.
"So... (Y/N) do you want to join the club?" The eagerness and anxiousness in her voice was very scarce but plausible. In the other girl's faces you could see gentle, kind looks from Yuri. Goofy but cute welcoming glances from Sayori, and a sharp, almost stinging look from Natsuki though after bonding with her a little, you knew it was just a facade. With a smile you dip you head down, and then back up.
"Yes, I would love to join the Literature Club!"
