It was something everyone wanted or was afraid of because it was so spontaneous. That something was called love. Because you could've got your fairytale ending right then and there when you and their eyes locked, but it was never meant to be. Every day, love made you wondered what could've been. Love could be, no—was—cruel but desirable at the same time.

That happened to a boy, Bobby Chase, in the suburbs of New York City.

Bobby never thought he'll find love so fast, but he saw it in the supermarket aisleway. He didn't know how it happened, but it just did, and it will forever change his life.

While scanning the aisle, his eyes had caught a Tropicana orange juice bottle that made his heart flutter. It was the most beautiful thing he has ever laid eyes on.

It started as a simple infatuation that turned into something more, and Bobby realized his feelings had grown. Was this love? Bobby was pretty sure it was, and, though it sounded insane—he was head over heels for orange juice.

Everyone else thought he was insane, but Bobby didn't care; he found his true love. For weeks, he happily sipped orange juice till one day, the worst happened; his mom had taken away his orange juice.

The universe was cruel—Bobby's older sister, Annabeth, knew that too well—however, Bobby didn't know it could be that cruel.

Every day, Bobby longed for orange juice, knowing that his wishes would never come true. He just wanted to get a Taste of Love—it seemed like everyone these days wanted a sip no matter how bitter it tasted; they were all desperate like him. All in the name of love.

Yet, Bobby slowly stopped dwelling because he knew full well that it would always be him and orange juice. Forever.

[09/05/21] 𝗔𝗨𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗥'𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘: Hello! Long time no see, False God readers! Welcome to Taste of Love! A Bobby Chase x Orange Juice crack!fic? I have always wanted to write a fanfic about our favorite juice boy, but it felt like the weirdest thing to write about (and it still feels like it even though I already wrote it, haha.) However, I didn't want to lose the opportunity to write a Jobby (as readers of False God called it, I think...?) fanfic, so here we are with Taste of Love!

Before I continue, I know that I've already stated this before, but you need to read Act Three/Four of False God because if you haven't, you're probably confused and weirded out right now about the plot. I promise it isn't anything you should worry about, haha! :) Nevertheless, if you haven't read False God or reached Act Three/Four of it, you're still welcomed to read this special mini-book!

Speaking of 'special mini-book,' as I wrote in the A/N in False God, this book was written for False God's 1st anniversary! It is still surreal to know that it's been a year since I published False God for people to read! I have already said this multiple times before, and there aren't enough words to describe how thankful I am but thank you. (Also, I just wanted to say that I'm grateful for everyone I met through False God! Love you <3)

A lot of things have been sparked by False God, such as orange juice and Bobby! The comments about orange juice and Bobby has made me laugh so much, and honestly, I have no idea how the joke about orange juice and Bobby started, but it's now an iconic part of False God, and that's why we're here, haha! :)

[Timeline:] Taste of Love occurs at the same time as False God,  but it's just written in Bobby's POV! The book starts in December so it's around Act Three in False God; the ending of Taste of Love happens during summer, meaning in False God, the book is nearing the end. Thus, you will get a slight spoiler for the ending of False God! Look out for that!

[Chapters]: There are six short chapters in Taste of Love! Each chapter is between 500 and 1400 words, so it isn't anything long like False God! It's a quick laughable read for you to enjoy!
