I had my book bag slung over my back while walking down the road. Summer had just started, but I had little vacation homework. I still can't believe I'm in college now. 19. Who knew?

I was headed home to my two roommates. We had plans this week. We were working on a special subject in school and had to fly over to Australia. I figured I'd start my homework on the way there. I turned the corner on to the block with my apartment and walked to the door. It was on the third floor. I put my key in the door and unlocked it.

"Welcome home Aubrey!" My roommates Hayley and Janashia (aka Jay) yelled at me in unison. They were already packing. I don't blame them though. We were all buying our own ticket and were staying for two weeks. We had saved up just enough extra money to go for that long  for freshman year. "Hey guys." I said waving at them and heading to my room to pack.

After packing

"Hey girls you ready?" My roommates nodded at me with there bags and book bags ready. We headed out the door talking and laughing at inside jokes. We had a van and not a kidnapper van but a car with lots of seats. They were for all our friends and boyfriends. We weren't the only people going on this trip. Our friends and boyfriends had saved enough money and were in that same subject with us. We couldn't wait. We would have enough time to hang out together, hang with the guys, and do our big project. We were in different groups. I'll talk about that later but you need to know their names, don't you?

Lily was one of many in the squad. (Look at me using pop culture words like squad.) she had long, blonde hair and yet to get a boyfriend. She didn't mind though, there was this guy she liked that we were trying to get together but it's harder than it looks. His name is Corey but he's not going on the trip.

Then there was Sophia. She had short, brown hair. She loved drawing animals and being childish ,like most of us. She also loved books and was most definitely bringing them on the trip. She had a boyfriend who was going on the trip named Ben. Also she has glasses.

Ben was a nerd. But In a way we were all nerds. He was really good at math, and sometimes try to build inventions with the knowledge he had from his engineering class. They all kinda failed or were left to die in his garage after a while though.

Jin was Jay's boyfriend. He had a YouTube channel and loved to post videos. He was Asia and loved Jay with all his heart. At least that's what I hear him say when he mumbles. He had jet black hair p, with sided bangs, and always wore a purple and white hoodie.

Max has Hayley's boyfriend. He also had a YouTube channel and did video's with Jin. Him and Hayley were total opposites. Hayley was fun and quirky with no temper I'd seen and Max had a short fuse. Hayley had made him lighten up though since they started dating so it's cool. He had really red hair, and a scruffy beard.

Last is my boyfriend Ross. He wore glass and had brown hair. He was yet again another you tuber and did collaboration videos with Jin and Max.

We were all the best of friends and there was no telling how many inside jokes and show references we had. We couldn't wait for this trip and finally realized the importance of money. (Sorry parents for I have disrespected money) we picked them up and headed to the airport in Georgia.
