A plushie nearly gave me a heart attack

My dad is the kind of person that doesn't really know how to organize and clean, he just shoves things in random places and hopes for the best

So I wasn't really that surprised when I noticed a huge Nemo plushie on top of my closet :)

I noticed it a few nights ago and anything with eyes kinda creeps me out but I tried to ignore it

I came into my room tonight and started getting situated

I looked up and that fucking plushie was upside down, looking and smiling directly at me

When I tell you I jumped 😭😭😭

I was so scared I instantly left my room and then asked my dad to move it lmfao-

It looked psychotic and possessed!! I thought I was about to be murdered by Nemo 😭😂

She's pregnant and she's been posting some questionable things on snapchat...

I really hope that this is just a pregnancy craving, but she's started a series called "mayo works on everything" and it's just her drowning food in mayo 😭😭😭😭😭

Eurovision is back baby ✨

Eurovision sucks but I love it and it's the highlight of this shitty time of year XD

And also throwback to when I was a child and still living back in the US when this happened and became one of Norway's proudest moments:

Anywho, the first part of the semi finals was on last Tuesday and the second part was on last Thursday

On Tuesday maybe 3 of the songs were decent (not amazing, just fine) and the rest sucked

On Thursday, just about all of them were so awful until near the end when Finland saved us all

FINALLY

Rock songs are literally never in Eurovision, and when they are, they never win (or make it to the finals)

So they were naming all the countries that went on to the finals and I was losing hope and when they had mentioned 9 of them, I had no hope (only 10 were going on)

And then they said Finland

Me, my sister and my mom started screaming and clapping 😂 The best songs never make it to the finals lmao

The finals were on last Saturday and my family was obviously rooting for Finland, but I never really had high hopes for them anyway because people have shit taste in music and it's never the songs that deserve to win that win, so I was at least hoping that Switzerland or France would win

Anywho, I was so happy when Finland's results came in because I think they got around 280 votes from the public and jumped all the way up to first place

So for a while, Finland was in first place 😌 They were obviously a fan favorite because that's the song everyone's been talking about and it was everyone's favorite song (everyone I've spoken to at least)

I was seriously so upset when fucking Italy got 300+ votes and jumped up to first place :( Not only was their song boring, the band seemed like the most miserable people on earth

They just gave off such bad vibes and they didn't look like people that deserved to win :( (of course, I have no clue who any of the people in Eurovision are so I could be completely wrong lol)

I stand by my belief that they won purely out of looks because everyone around me is crushing on the lead singer now (plus he was shirtless), it was nothing more than a popularity contest, like always :'>

But yeah, this is just how Eurovision goes so I was prepared for the worst XD

We had quarantine a week where I had two presentations and a math midterm I didn't even know about - it all got pushed back

School started back up again yesterday and I remembered Monday night that I was supposed to have a Spanish presentation yesterday and I started panicking, and then I got a message from my teacher saying that she's in quarantine - my presentation got pushed back

Plus oral mock exams are cancelled :)

WHAT IS THIS SORCERY

I had a geography discussion with my teacher for 15 minutes yesterday morning (the assignment was to write a paper about whatever within some topics, and then we were gonna have a 15 minute discussion about it)

My Spanish teacher wasn't there so we could work on whatever we wanted, wherever we wanted

And then people had Norwegian/social studies presentations for the rest of the day and to reduce the risk of, you know, covid lol, those of us that didn't have a presentation today got to go home

I literally went to school for a 15 minute discussion and then went home and studied for my math midterm XD

And then we were allowed to take tomorrow off to study at home :D

It's been nearly 3 months and I still haven't gotten my blood money lol

It's my dad that's been having contact with them and he's had to call a few times to figure out what's going on

Apparently it's taking longer since our address changed or something XD But the lady promised that it'll be in by Tuesday 👌

I had to talk to the lady on the phone today to verify that I'm actually Kaitlin lmao and I sounded so nervous, that's not sketchy at all 🤦‍♀️😭

I don't know how saying what my name is and that I allowed my dad to contact them for me is proof that I am who I am but ok XD

So yeah, I should finally be getting my 50 000 USD by Tuesday :D My first of three payments 👌

I'm only gonna use the money for my education, my career, or going towards a house

So I'm gonna take out enough money for an actual video recorder, microphone and pc so I can actually make decent youtube videos and maybe even live streams in the future, and then the rest is gonna be locked up until it's time to pay back student loans :D

So ye, this summer I'm gonna work so hard on actually making decent yt videos and I'm gonna try to set up an Etsy shop and maybe try to sell some prints! :D
