Hello hello

It's been so long since my last update that I'm gonna have to divide the chapter in 2 or 3 parts so they don't get too long lmao

Anywho, we had a party a few weeks ago and everyone was vomiting within the first hour or so??? My friends have no self control 🤦‍♀️

We took a break from partying for a few weeks and then we had another party last Friday for my friend's birthday

It was lots of fun for a few hours, and then suddenly everyone either disappeared to the bathroom or just sat on their phones and looked depressed?? So me, Amalie and the one sober friend just stood together and danced and sang together for the longest time lol

We were probably the soberest of the bunch but we were the ones who kept the party going XD

OH YEAH- pretty much all of us drink Kalinka and I keep accidentally swapping bottles with people at parties

So during the second to last party (the one where everyone was vomiting), I just took a random bottle and left and that's the one I brought to the last party

It didn't take me very long to realize that it was water 😂

I had a very beautiful two seconds where I thought I finally reached the "it tastes like water" phase lmao-

So I brought water and orange juice XD My parents got a kick out of it when I came home lmao (they don't need to know that I got plenty from my friends lol)

So yeah, there's been less parties lately and I'm honestly grateful for that because I needed a break after the summer XD

Also, during the party where everyone vomited, apparently P and I spoke on snapchat for a while

Remember the guy that I was sort of friends with for a few years but he kinda had a thing for me? XD The guy who, according to T, looked straight at me with hearts in his eyes and said "sometimes you like someone without them even noticing" and my dumbass didn't notice and kept talking about my crush at the time? 😭😂

So the next day, he wrote something like "I'm sorry for last night" and I didn't remember what we were even talking about so I just replied with something like "it's ok, I was drunk so I don't even remember it lmao"

And then I got back "I'm sorry for hitting on you haha I don't even have a shot" with a bunch of laughing emojis 🤦‍♀️😂

So I panicked and just ended the conversation with "oh lol" lmao-

I almost forgot - for the party where everyone vomited, we had a high school stereotypes theme! :D I figured that everyone was gonna go with cool girl or emo, so I went with horny virgin lmfao

To school things, we were learning about Greek philosophers in history & philosophy for the longest time - specifically about Socrates, Plato and Aristotle

I kid you not, Blanc and I legitimately sat and joked about the three of them for 4 hours straight one beautiful Tuesday

I can't remember exactly what the jokes were, but I had a pretty good one lolol

The backstory you need to know for this joke is that it was normal for teachers to have pedophilic relationships with their students at the time, Alexander the Great was Aristotle's student, and apparently Alexander the Great had a bit of a god complex and thought he was the son of a god or something

So I was gonna mimic Alexander the Great talking to Aristotle and I said something like "I'm a god, I should be teaching YOU, you should be taking YOUR pants off" before I even realized what I had said and we all lost it 💀

Anywho, we had a sort of test in the form of a conversation between me, T and Blanc in front of the teacher and it went so well!! I was so nervous because oral things obviously don't go very well with my socially anxious ass, but I was confident about the topic and the three of us worked so well together! :D

I had a different conversation on Monday that didn't go as well :(

Mini rant lol

We had to read this Icelandic saga and I have no clue what language it was in but holy fucking shit

Norwegian is my second language, I struggle with the our second version of Norwegian, of course I'm not gonna be able to read something that was written during the Viking times!!! But whatever, I couldn't read the book but I could tackle the topic from a different angle

So I was pretty fucked to begin with :')

And then we were told that we were gonna be put into groups and have a conversation about some questions/points while the Norwegian and history teacher listen, and I got on a group with two really smart and nice girls

I didn't know they would be so impossible to work with 😭😭😭

I feel so bad for saying this because I really do like them a lot, but I just didn't click with them when it comes to teamwork :(

They were gonna distribute the different questions, and they both got two while I got one so I had a disadvantage to begin with - I got less content to cover and talk about

But whatever, I figured that we were just gonna do our own research and then tell each other what we found and discuss it together

They had other plans :)

I don't know what part about "conversation" was so difficult for them to understand, but they literally wrote whole ass scripts as if we were presenting our work to each other

And I told them so many times that it's not a presentation - we're supposed to be talking and discussing and reflecting and it's supposed to be natural

And you know what their solution was??!

They wrote a little comment for me to say in the middle of their script!!!! Alshakaljxladjos WHAT IS SO DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND??!?! I'm not gonna memorize and read up from a fucking script during our CONVERSATION

So they had entire blocks of text that they sat and read up from. There were no places for me to jump in and add my own thoughts, all I got was a little time at the very end to talk about the only question they let me take

It felt like every time I actually did find time to talk, they would either cut me off before I was finished or they would jump in and steal the point I was trying to make :(

We were supposed to bring examples from the book in our conversation, and I had one example ready for the ONLY question I got, and the one girl in my group fucking took it before I got to??!?! I WAS SO FURIOUS ALSHAKSJAL

They literally sat there and read up their scripts for 15 minutes, and they couldn't even let me have my one fucking example from the book?!?! That was betrayal at its highest form 😤😤😤😭😭😭

So yeah, I felt so awful afterwards so I asked to talk with my teacher yesterday to explain to her that I couldn't show my potential

Apparently she and the other teacher had taken notice to the situation and had written down every time they noticed that I tried to talk and was cut off

I was so happy when she said that, I can't believe they actually noticed that ;A; She also said that they could both tell that I knew a lot more than what I was able to say, and that the little I did say was so good that I got a -5 anyway :D I was so mentally prepared for a 3 since I had said so little, I can't believe I did so well despite all the disadvantages I had ;w;

So yeah, this is something that everyone around me has been listening to me rant about for about a week now but I finally feel fine now after that talk with my teacher lol

I just can't get over how they actually took notice to me and how hard I was trying, I'm so touched, I'm so used to being overshadowed by everyone louder than me (which is most people) TwT
