It's been a little over a month lmao - the longest I've ever gone without writing

Basically I was just really tired during the first week of school XD

We had a school trip that Friday and I was cold and wet all day, resulting in a cold that lasted for about two weeks 🥲

We even had a party that night and I'm glad my friends are as tired of alcohol and partying as I am so we haven't had a party since and it's been so peaceful 😩

Anywho, that was the worst cold I've had in probably two years XD I woke up at 4 a.m. the Monday after the trip and literally thought I was suffocating-

My throat was hurting so bad and my throat was all swollen, I just had to get up and take emergency cough medicine, cough drops and I just sat up and drank tea XD

So the cold started in my throat, then it went to my nose, then it went to my head, and then it went down to my chest and resulted in me having coughing fits for an extra week after my cold XD

And then my sister got sick last week and I was so paranoid of catching the cold again (there's been a really bad cold going through town for the past few weeks)

Luckily I got sick really early on because I think the cold strain going around got worse because my sister sounded like she was dying, and I thought my cold was bad 🤣

So yeah, otherwise I just have other random things to mention lol

I HAD THE BEST SLEEP OF MY LIFE SOMETIME LAST WEEK OR THE WEEK BEFORE

I haven't woken up feeling actually rested in YEARS, I forgot it was even possible

That night, I fell asleep at like 11 p.m. (which is early for me), I didn't wake up a single time throughout the night (and I ALWAYS wake up at least once throughout the night, normally 2-3 times), and I woke up feeling rested

I've been dreaming of that sleep ever since 😂 I had to brag about my sleep to everyone I knew that day lmfao, you guys have no idea how good it felt 😩

I'm gonna spend the rest of my life searching for that good night's sleep :'>>>>

Speaking of sleep, I was so exhausted one day that I fell asleep in class 😅 (that's only happened to me one other time before)

It was in my history class and we were learning about Norse mythology so it was actually really interesting, but I slept so badly that night, it was a really long day with all my most exhausting classes, and we had PE that morning

We sat in the auditorium and my teacher was going through a powerpoint first, and I was fighting for my LIFE to keep my eyes open, and then we were gonna watch something and she turned the lights off and I knew I was doomed lmao

My eyes kept drooping and my head kept doing the thing where you're drifting off but then your head falls and kinda jolts back lmao, and I eventually gave up and put my head back against the seat and closed my eyes

I woke up by T laughing at me 😂 I don't think I was asleep very long lol but those minutes of closing my eyes helped so much 😩

I've been vibing so hard with my one friend from class lately XD (imma call her Blanc)

We've been bonding over books and our love for broken characters 🙂🌸

We were talking about books and she recommended Throne of Glass to me, and-

I'm taking a break from Harry Potter to read it now, even though there's 8 books in the series :> I just need a break from Stephen King and Harry Potter because that's pretty much all I've read

I got the book last Thursday and ended up reading 100 pages in one sitting that night-

If you know me, you know those are rookie numbers lmao but I was really trying to pace myself because there's only around 400 pages! BUT IM IN LOVE WITH DORIAN AND HAVE TO READ MORE 😩😩😩🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💕💕💕💕💕💕😭😭😭😭😭

It was love at first sight, the MOMENT Dorian arrived in the book, I just felt it in my bones 😩😂

And the whole time I read stuff like this, I think back to this:

THIS BOOK IS RUINING ME

The fluff thing hit way too close to home because I was legitimately having difficulty keeping noises inside of me, I don't know if I want to groan or scream or cry or laugh but something wanted to come out and I had to cover my mouth

I can read smut with a straight face but the fluff ruins me 😭😭😭

Anywho, I would've finished the book on my third or fourth day if it wasn't for the fact that I didn't want to finish it until I had the next book in case of a cliffhanger, so I had to have so much self control 😭

Also, I hate fighting scenes in books because they always feel so short, useless and anticlimactic, but holy fucking shit

There was a fight scene that lasted at least an entire chapter (if not more) and it was the coolest thing I've ever read!! It was so exciting I thought my eyes were gonna pop out of my skull or my heart was gonna burst out of my chest

My heart was beating so hard for so long after I finished it, it was exhilarating 😂 I was so into it, I was prepared to bring the house down if anyone tried to interrupt me XD

So yeah, I have an obsession 😂🌸

I ordered all 8 books lmao

They arrived today so now I can finally read as much as I want and not have to worry about self control~ 🤣

Otherwise my friends and I had another girls night and we had Belgian waffles

Me, T, Amalie and R had a girls night

I helped bake a cake for Amalie's mom's birthday (since she's so sweet and is basically the mom of the group) and me and T went with Amalie to surprise her mom with cake and balloons

And lastly, Hannah's confirmation was last Saturday :D

We had dinner and cake with my aunts, uncles and cousins and I ate so much 😩 We baked 4 different cakes for the occasion, and I definitely overestimated my abilities :/

But yeah, it was fun :D

Ok last thing lol

My sociology teacher is a touchy old man :')

I really wasn't looking forward to having him as my teacher, though he's actually not as bad as I thought, he just has a really ancient and outdated way of teaching, and he loves to randomly come up to you and talk and put his hand on your back

I told Blanc about it because she hadn't heard any of the rumors about him, and during our first class, he walked past her and ran his hand across her shoulders as he passed and she just slowly looked back at me and the look on her face was priceless 😂

Yesterday it was my turn to be touched ;A;

I was studying in the library with two friends and he came up to us, and he passed behind my chair and ran his hand slowly across my back as he passed AND IT WAS SUCH A CREEPY FEELING 😭

And then when he left, he patted my shoulder and I jumped so bad :') IM NOT USED TO MY TEACHERS TOUCHING ME-

I make it sound so much worse that it really is lol it's just weird

This was a weird way to end this chapter lol but I hope you guys are doing well and keeping that winter depression at bay :>
