moral of the story

Our story was something I used to love,
Now that I look back,
You were just a mistake.
God, I wanted you, I wanted you in my future and you soiled that.
All you are is a memory now.
I should've seen the signs too.
I should've.
But you know what?
That's okay.
You were a chapter of my life and that chapter is over now.
It is time for me to move on to better things and people.
