moments

I started living my life in moments,
Taking the emotions I gathered and putting them into something worth living.
I blink, sleep and a day goes by.
My breathing is steady.
My smiles have been growing.
My laughter has grown more than my anger.
Although, I do have my moments,
I am still finding myself.
I am finding the girl that I once knew.
I am finding her with open arms.
I am ready to see her again.
To tell her I missed her.
To tell her that I am sorry.
To tell her I won't take a shed of happiness granted ever again.
And the sad times?
I will treat them as lessons learned.
I will never allow myself to be stuck ever again.
I will enjoy the good times and create better times.
Why?
Because life is full of moments.
I want to cherish ever bit of it.
