car crash

It happened so fast.
I closed my eyes and braced myself for impact.
It was raining,
There was no way I could slow down in time.
There was no way I could turn into the right lane either.
I couldn't do anything.
It was useless.
The crash was loud,
The sound of metal bending,
Smoke filled my lungs once my airbags deployed.
Adrenaline filled my veins,
Panic filled my lungs,
My screams filled the air as I unbuckled myself.
I was trapped in my car.
I could barely open my damn door.
My car dialed 911.
My voice was shaky as I stated my location and my car.
I looked down to see blood.
My blood.
Tears flooded my vision as I reported my injury.
After that,
My crash brought 2 fire trucks, 2 ambulances, and 7 sheriffs.
I went to the hospital.
I remember getting a CT scan and x-rays.
Now, my whole body is sore, whiplashed, and injured.
