Hanji's POV

After all of that... Levi stayed with me in my room. His firm arm around me kept me in place- ensuring I wouldn't leave him and no one would take me away. One small movement, and he would wake up just a bit. The way his arm was around me- so protectively... I knew he was already gonna claim me. His small talk about him using me? Please... he's not using me for anything. We were a symbolic relationship. He helped me with my heat and I would help him help others. 

A slow nudged and I saw his gray eyes slowly showing under his eyelids. They were so exhausted... and he forced himself awake. "Hanji..."

I shushed him quietly with a kiss. "You look so tired... sleep more."

He groaned heavily and shook his head. With all his strength, he pushed himself off of my stiff bed and turned on his side. Levi groaned more, rubbing his eyes. "No, no more sleep. I need to do stuff today."

"Like what? Like my... secret mission?" I giggled gently, reaching for my pair of glasses. 

"Yes. Tonight, I'm taking you to the man who gave me the mission. I'll have you registered as my informant and you can be giving him information instead of me." Levi sighed heavily, running his pale hands through his own raven hair. "It's for our own good..."

"Can I still see you, Levi? I... I don't know how to admit it but..."

"You love me?" Silence filled the air when he read my mind. Quietly, I nodded my head and waited for his next words. "I'll be honest, I love you too. But our relationship... we can't be doing this... we're too close. I can't do my duties as a little agent if I'm in love with you."

"S-Separation...?"

Levi nods a bit. "But once we solve it all together... I promise... we'll do something about it. It's better than me being replaced. You can't work for me directly, but my boss. We can still see each other- as long as it doesn't affect our work."

I sighed heavily, curling up to him. "Alright then... it's smart... when is it tonight? I'll need to think of a good excuse, Levi."

He just chuckles softly, kissing my cheeks. "Always worrying... listen, you're not the only one with brains. If we were working together, you will always be my right-handed woman. Funny... we are working together now. Once we done... I might write a recommendation about you to come and work with me."

"Ah-ah-ah." I chuckled, kissing him gently on his sweet lips. "Levi, we'll talk more once this is over. It's too much for me to bear... so... maybe once you solve this case, we can talk more about my brains and our relationship."

Levi stayed for a few more minutes until Betty came in with a glass of orange juice. As she puts it, I needed orange juice to boost my immune system for more testing later. Once Levi heard it, he growled towards her and asked for me to not be used. Betty argued- but it all ended when Levi pulled me out of my room and outside. 

Time read 11:53 am.

"Hanji..." I looked down at him, seeing what he wanted from me. "I promise, we'll handle it. Don't worry. Just wait for tonight. Do what you normally do. I'll fetch you."

I nodded and we parted ways by a kiss. Outside of a locked room, this was so out in the open. The kiss wasn't lustful- like it would've been if I was in heat. No. It was different. The other times it has been a playful gesture or a lustful one. Now... it was just pure love. His kisses were so passionate, and I... I just wanted that feeling again. A vulnerable kiss...  a vulnerable kiss to tell me that I will see him again for more.

The same feeling stayed in me as he left me alone in the open courtyard. My cheeks were blushing as my fingers longed for his shirt to cling onto. I then shook my head, to shake off that feeling before going back to work. The hours felt so... so long...

Levi's POV

It was close to 9 pm, and I went over to Hanji and makes sure she was dressed. But she wasn't... so I bought her something I believed she would like. It's not much, but it matched her beautifully. If I were to say a season, she was instantly autumn. So, orange colors would match her perfectly. 

As it draped down against her elegant body, I saw it all blending together. The orange dress was short and to cover her legs was a pale orange lace. On her arms were the same colored lace with fake orange gems. Her black flats went well with it, so I didn't have to worry about shoe size. Her hair was easily beautiful when down and her eyes... nothing could change those hazel eyes.

We tried to do things as casual as we possibly can. We just hung out at the bar, talking and kissing. "Well, well, well..." I had to pull myself away from Hanji when he showed up with his true right-hand man. "I knew there was something up about her."

"U-Um... who are you?" Hanji questions, pulling her hair back behind her ears.

"I'm Erwin, and since you're making out with her, I'm guessing this is your informant, Levi." He chuckles softly, looking at her. "Now... I believe we have some matters to attend to. About... the job."

Miche, Erwin's right-hand man, turned to Hanji and sniffed her gently. Oh, how that made my blood boil. But he stopped in his tracks and turned to me. "Levi, she smells... weird."

"She's my damn omega. What do you expect-"

"Most omegas have a personal scent. But... all omegas will share a specific scent when they've changed physically. I smell a milk scent on her. Milk scents are typically for pregnant omegas. You got her pregnant?"

Erwin just stared at me while Hanji looked down. "Okay, I get sleeping with her- but getting her pregnant? Really?"

Under my breath, I just growled at him. My arms reached around Hanji and pulled her close- my growling wouldn't stop at all as I held her there. "Not like I can control it much. It just happened... so don't get mad at me."

"It makes things complicated, Levi."

"How so?"

Once more, Erwin sighed and finally taking a sip of his alcoholic drink. "If she's your informant and pregnant with your child, Perkins would do anything to rid the evidence. A child would only make things difficult- and may also put her in danger. Alright?"

"I got it. Finish the mission before she gives birth-"

"Finish the mission before she starts to show physically." Erwin narrowed his eyes. "As communicated before, package: this package is filled with our own little devices made to maneuver carefully and undetectable. Plant one down in his office or plant one where he has his experiments, the quicker we can put him down."

Hanji turned around towards Erwin, clutching on my shirt. "Can we talk about... relationship status? Like... once this is all done, can we work together and be in a relationship?" I nuzzled my nose into her shoulder and just watched.

"Generally, we wouldn't allow it. But Levi has told me about your brains and how much you've been... unexpected. We can allow you to work with us- after this is all done. Relationship wise, I do not know how you two can work it out. If it means that you two would work still, then... I'll allow it."

I chuckled at seeing the irony. "That does conflict with what you told me before. Told me I could go into early retirement. But, that's alright, right? If I'm working with her, then I'll stay."

"Take it easy, Levi." Erwin says gently as Miche gave me the small package. "Don't blow your cover- we're still in this. And, take it easy on your omega. Don't want to hurt her or your unborn child."

They then left, and we just stayed there for another few minutes. My hands gently caressed her stomach as we both pictured a small baby inside. A few months until she would show her pregnancy... and we had to complete the mission. Once it was almost 11, we went back to the mansion and with a good request, I let her stay with me in my room. Never will I ever let her out of my sight.
