Bingo. Squad Seven’s Leader is right before you. So this is what he looks like. Tall. Silver hair. Dark eyes. With a mask. Deep voice. Charming though. It’s a shame you’re about to take the life of a gorgeous man like him.

But then again, why is he wearing a mask? And what is underneath?

The closed eye smile he gave you as you shook hands looked priceless. It’s the first time you had ever seen a man smile so genuinely before you since Orochimaru and Kabuto being the only men you had ever known that were closer to you had only given you smirks and evil grins, and the Uchiha you just met seemed to have the word ‘smile’ missing from his vocabulary.

And speaking of the Uchiha, where is he? Sasuke, the one who had planned that you go to this local bar, had now disappeared from your sight and had slipped himself into areas of who knows where. He said that it will have something to do with one of his targets and he told you that there might be a chance that you’ll encounter Squad Seven here. At first you didn’t want to go, but as it turned out, he was right when he said you’ll thank him later once you come across your own target.

“Orders from Orochimaru-sama…” Speak of the devil. Sasuke’s voice rang into the earpiece you are wearing. You slowly positioned your hand next to your knee as you planned to pull out the gun and shoot Kakashi right here and then. “Abort mission. You are not to eliminate Squad Seven leader right now.”

You froze and prevented your hand from pulling the gun out. Seriously? You’ve waited months for this moment and Orochimaru is suddenly calling this off? Why?

“You dance?” Kakashi suddenly asked.

“Hmm?” you gave him a questioning look, making sure that you had heard the right words from him, and slightly getting caught off-guard between your thoughts, true purpose and the current situation. Guess you’ll have to deal with the rambling questions in your head later.

“I guess you don’t,” Kakashi’s voice trailed off but you knew you heard him clearly. Kakashi looked away and you chuckled at his discomfiture.

“I dance,” you almost sang while putting one lock of hair behind your ear. Perhaps if Orochimaru wanted to order you to take him down later then right now you’re just gonna have to not let the time you spent to go to this place be for nothing. Getting yourself closer to the Squad Leader may increase your chances of eliminating him easier when Orochimaru orders it again.

Kakashi stood up and held out a hand to you. “Shall we?”

You took Kakashi’s hand and you both walked into the dance floor.

“Kimeko, what are you doing?” Sasuke asked through the earpiece. You smirked and put your hands on Kakashi’s shoulders, knowing that Sasuke can see you. What does he think you’re doing? He should try to figure that out rather than asking a stupid question. Kakashi quickly glanced at your movement before awkwardly putting his hands on your waist.

“We need to go now,” Sasuke said. You don’t have time to deal with him for your attention is now occupied by Kakashi’s look that seemed suspicious of you. You can’t blow your cover. And you musn’t forget that Kakashi is also a skilled agent. He might see who you really are.

“Do you go here often?” you ask Kakashi to wave off that suspecting look.

“By choice, no. By getting dragged by my friends, yes,” Kakashi replied.

You chuckled and remembered how that big guy whom you thought was Kakashi’s friend and must be an agent as well had teased Kakashi a while ago for being single.

“Are you truly a bachelor?”

“Well, yeah. How about you?”

“What a coincidence. Same.”

“My friends are too.”

“I can see that.”

“Do you also go here often?”

“Well I----” you were cut off when you noticed a cloaked guy about fifty feet away from you. The cloak was familiar and you knew exactly where he’s from. Kakashi’s back was on him and when you noticed that the guy raised a hand, revealing a gun from underneath, you immediately pushed Kakashi’s shoulders down and pulled out your own gun.

“Get down!” you yelled as you dodged the bullet the cloaked guy shot. You got up and shot him back but he hid behind the bar.

The next thing that happened was chaos. Everyone panicked creating a great stampede out of the club. You shot again against the bar, hitting a few bottles in the process with the cloaked guy still avoiding all your shots. You hid yourself behind an overturned table and it served as your shield every time the cloaked guy shot at you. You saw Kakashi pull out his own gun and are now standing next to his friend earlier and another brown-haired guy.

“Sasuke, what’s your location?” you asked in a low voice in the earpiece.

“3 o’clock. I told you we should’ve left.”

You rolled your eyes and thought that you don’t have time to argue with him. “Is your brother alone?”

“I don’t think so. I’ve spotted two more Akatsuki from outside. And they’ll be here anytime soon.”

“Fuck. We need a plan of attack.”

“I’ve got a plan. Attack.”

You’ve gotta be kidding me, you thought as you saw Sasuke swing on a rope from the backstage and shooting the cloaked guy that was still hiding in the bar. The moment gave you excitement. You knew that the Akatsuki are the most wanted people in the city. Every member has a price worth their life. You just kill one and you will be richer than you think.

You heard more gunshots from another direction and saw Kakashi and the other two agents shoot at two more Akatsuki that entered the club. You crept on the next table and aimed your gun at the blonde and shot, earning a low curse and grunt from the Akatsuki to which he responded by shooting the table where you hid.

Kakashi had tackled the other one and is now whipping the Akatsuki with his pistol. His friends had caught the one hiding behind the bar which happens to be Sasuke’s brother and Sasuke now had his gun pointed at him.

You stood up from the table and saw that Sasuke was about to shoot his brother when a tin can rolled in their middle. “Grenade!” Guy yelled and the four of them all jumped in different directions at the explosion.

You didn’t know if Sasuke was harmed or what but there is one clear scene for you. Kakashi is now pinned down by an orange-haired Akatsuki and you aimed your gun at him. After a few seconds of making sure your shot will be precise, you pulled the trigger.

You were so sure it would hit the Akatsuki but then he made some gestures on his fingers that the bullet changed direction and instead it hit Kakashi on the bottom of his chest.

“What the?!” your eyes widened in shock at seeing what just happened. You put your gun back on your boot and took out a knife from your pocket, realizing that bullets won’t work on this one. You jumped at the Akatsuki, tackling both yourselves down and successfully slashing his face. He grabbed your neck and squeezed it, making you gag but still aiming your knife at him.

“K-Kimeko…” Sasuke’s voice sounded harsh in your ear and you could tell that he was injured. “We have to r-retreat.”

You agreed with Sasuke and with one powerful slash you hit the Akatsuki holding you on his face again, giving you the opportunity to be free and throw a smoke grenade that would cover your tracks when you escape. As soon as the smoke was everywhere, police sirens can be heard from outside. You saw Sasuke leave through the roof then you picked up a wounded Kakashi and headed out the club, unseen by the unexpected party that raided the entertainment, or so you thought.
