However, for general, Rusan and his men were concerned, the most was news of the Navy defeat. Shou-long had apparently destroyed the fire navy eastern fleet and was reported to be dangerously close to the homeland.

After two days of hard fighting Shou-long was beginning there ascent up the Volcano headed for the city. By now the fire nation, soldiers had retreated to better defensive positions, where they continue to harass the oncoming Shou-long army.

When Tanya entered the battle things changed yet again in their favor, despite the fire nations counter attack, Tanya began to use her bending skills to even the odds. She began to create sinkholes that destroyed tundra tanks, her red flames fired in stark contrast to the orange flames bent by the average soldier, she summoned water torrent that knocked dozens of soldiers clean off their feet, who were easy pickings for Shou-long special forces who had orders from their king to take prisoners.

It now seemed the war was now hopeless. The enemy was on his doorstep, and his armies were surrendering almost without a fight in the western colonies. However, he refused to surrender. He would fight until his last breath, no matter how many men fired upon him.

Eventually, he heard the distinct sound of gunshots being fired and the pounding of boots headed for his throne room.

Eventually, Tanya and over 20 of her soldiers stormed into the palace throne room and looked him dead in the eye.

"Fire lord Ozai for crimes against humanity. You are under arrest, and you will face trial for your many crimes, and the tyranny you forced upon this world, you and your ancestors."

However Ozai smiled.

" very well you want me to surrender then let's finish this you and me, princess and Agni Kai for the throne you win I will surrender unconditionally as well as my entire kingdom and Empire will be yours to command. However, if I win, you will surrender and submit to me you and your family and Kingdom."
