Tanya was livid Not only had those darn rebels destroyed numerous convoys they had been the  main cause for numerous Uprisings within Xaulon and Tanya was itching to put those blasted rebels in their place.

the only problem was they had no idea where the rebels were stationed and Tanya knew that the only way to kill the rebellion and sabotage would be to pull and burn the roots of this rebellion. 

Fortunately the local garrison had captured one one of the rebel sympathizers and Tanya was eager to ring him dry of any info he had.

(Interrogation room).

The room was dark barren of any furniture save for 2 chairs and a table. For young Fu-shin he had no regrets. His family had moved to Shou-long at the Beginning of the 100 year war His mother was a very vocal supporter of the Degurechauf royal family and his father was a almost fanatical supporter to the earth king Kuei Fu-shin was the eldest son and had been taught by his father that their sole goal in life was to bring the Degurechaufs down in the name of their true master.

However His father had to keep his more rebellious intentions hidden form his wife and daughters who would not hesitate to hand him and his father over to the military on the grounds of Conspiring against the monarchy.

However when he found out rebels were beginning to fight against the royal family for collaborating with the fire nation he Jumped to join the rebels first chance he got. 

However he had severely underestimated how the Army would react to rebels Causing Chaos in their homeland and he was caught after vandalizing a Store. 

His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of voices outside his cell.

"Captain Please that's my son in there I beg of you to release him." 

"I'm afraid I can't do that mam the princess ordered that all collaborators were to be detained and held until their interrogations are Completed."

He recognized the voice of his mother and one unfamiliar voice that he guessed was some kind of military official.

It was actually surprising that despite him being arrested for being a collaborator his mother still seemed to care for him. 

The voices continued to argue till a much younger voice one that Fu-shin would recognize anywhere joined the conversation. 

"Captain what is going on here." The young voice demanded.

"O-oh Princess Tanya I apologize I did not see you there forgive me."

"That's not an answer Captain now tell me what's going on." Tanya demanded her tone promising punishment if he dodged the question again.

"Y-Yes mam. You see Ms. shin here heard about her son being Arrested for collaborating with the rebels and came to request his freedom."

"I see Ms. Shin you are aware of the penalty for collaborating with rebels or attempting to undermine the crown right." Tanya questioned.

"Yes Princess I know the penalty. It's just he's my son and I know he's not bad his father has just influenced him negatively and I swear my son can be changed please I beg of you give him one more chance." Fu-shin Could hear the tears practically welling up in his mother eyes and he could feel the sensation welling up inside him as well.

There was silence for a few minutes till Tanya spoke again. 

"I still want to question him you have my word That aside from some minor injuries he will be fine. When I'm done my interrogation you will have my answer."  Tanya says while moving closer to the cell door.

Eventually the golden haired princess stepped into the room.

"Mr. Fu-shin I must say it's a pleasure to meet you face to face." Tanya says while closing the door and moving to the other chair in the room.

Fu-Shin did not respond to her comment he simply remained Silent. 

"Mr. Shin do you understand the consequences of your actions or should I enlighten you." Tanya says while giving him a  cold look.

"I don't Know mam How about you indulge me." Fu shin says mockingly.

Tanya's brow twitched but she maintained her composure as she stood up and began to walk around him with her hands behind her back. 

"Your actions easily warrant a Prison sentence However You also Violated Shou-long humanitarian laws. You and your rebel comrades attacked numerous Civilians and destroyed their Property during your little Vandalizing sprees and raids on the supply caravans. Explain teh motive for that." Tanya Demanded her voice Ice cold.

"well we couldn't ask for any supply assistance from the garrison  given how we were criminals. Have you ever done any painting before mam It is a wonderful activity." Fu-shin replies lazily while Putting his feet on the table.

Tanya was now finding it very hard to withhold the urge to punch him right in the face. " YOU know something Fu-shin your mother really cares about you and I heard that it was your fathers influence that led you to take this path in life. Tell me why shatter your mother more then she already is. Tell me where is the rebel base and I can assure you that if you tell me you will go free all charges dropped."

"Hah Tell you a Royal doll oh please. You royals are so disconnected with the people that you don't even realize that siding with the fire nation is more dishonorable and you and your family are nothing more than traitors to your nation. BY siding with those monsters you  stain the very honor of Shou-long. But then again what would I expect from a carefree good for nothing royal family's whos heir is nothing more than a glorified doll toy."

That struck  A nerve with in Tanya She loved her family and she couldn't believe the stupidity coming out of this guys mouth. A look of fury appeared on her face as Tanya lunged forward and punched the man right in the face knocking him off the chair he was sitting on before encasing him in rocks.

"YOU THINK WE DON'T CARE ABOUT OUR CITIZENS THOUGHTS OR OPINIONS ON INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS. TELL ME THEN WHY DID WE SET UP A POLL IN EACH TOWN AND VILLIAGE TO DETERMINE WHAT THE PEOPLE WANTED IN REGARDS TO THE OFFER WE WERE GIVEN. MY FATHER AGREED WITH IT BECAUSE HE KNEW THAT WE NEEDED TO CRATE MORE JOBS AND EXPAND OUR TRADE SO THAT THE UNEMPLOYMENT THAT WAS GRIPPING OUR PEOPLE WOULD BE LOOSENED. 

TELL ME DO YOU THINK US TRAITORS WHEN I REFUSED TO SEND AID TO THE FIRE NATIONS CAMPAIGN AGAINST CIVILIANS IN THE EAST EARTH KINGDOM OR OUR PROTESTS AGAINST MISTREATING THEIR OWN PEOPLE IN THE WESTERN COLONIES. YOU TELL ME TEH SIR WHICH ONE OF US IS THE TRAITOR HERE THE ONE WHO SABOTAGED AND RUNED PEOPLES LIVES OR THE ONE WHO DID WHAT THEY THOUGHT WAS RIGHT TO AID THEIR FELLOW MAN."

FU shin was silent he could see Tanya begin to calm down but he was puzzled. His father never told him about any poll. Further more He did question jet about the farms they raided because he could tell the people were happy and he questioned if they should really ruin their lives. However jet's response was more cold now that he thought about it.

(flashback).

"Fu-Shin All I see are people who support those weaklings that sit upon you throne. They support the fire nation the monsters who murder Innocent men women and children all across the earth kingdom. Sometimes sacrifice must be made to preserve the balance and ensure freedom of the entire world."

(end of flashback).

Now he saw it all the fights his parents had were them arguing about what the best course of action was for their family. His mothers concern for him was also far greater than what his father told him it was. 

Thinking back on all of this he saw what Tanya meant and why his mother supported her as the princess of their country.

"My princess please forgive me for my actions. I now know that you and your family only had our nations best interests at heart. I will tell you the location of their base."

Tanya simply smiled at him. "Thank you. please try to understand we hate this war as much as everyone else does but we had to make this tough call to ensure that our nation could survive for when the war ended. I assure you FU-shin that soon peace to our world will be restored I promise you that nothing will happen to you or your family."

After Telling Tanya the location she beckoned for his mother to enter.

As soon as she entered the room she embraced him tears in her eyes.

"Is is my son free princess." His mother asks Tanya her eyes full of tears.

"Yes he is free to go however I'll be placing your husband under House arrest." Tanya says with a small smile. 

"Thank you princess we can promise you that our loyalty to you is forever."

Tanya commanded the Guard to escort the mother and son out of the prison while she headed to meet up with her men.

Fury once again flashed on her face. IT was because of jet that family's in Shou-long were torn like that and it was because of him that she now had to ensure the freedom of her people and to ensure that his terrorists were stopped by any means necessary.

AN: I KNOW THIS WAS NOT WHAT YOU ALLL EXPECTED BUT I WANTED TO BUILD UP AND ADD SOME MORE DETAILS TO THE WORLD BUILDING.  I CAN ASSUR EYOU THAT THE NEXT CHAPTER WILL BE MORE ACTION PACKED.
