Everyone in the room was shocked. They knew Azula was here To discuss terms but a fire duel was not what they were expecting.

"I apologize princess but the terms sound quite demanding for  a duel." The king says shock evident in his tone.

"Oh I'm well aware of that your majesty." Azula Says smugly. "However you do realize If Tanya wins you guys get more territory and that means an expansion to your already powerful trading empire."

"we know that Princess Azula But I fear for my daughter and your lives a duel this serious is usually to the death." The queen interjects worry in her tone.

"fine It won't be to teh death But The terms still stand. so what do you say do you accept or are you cowards and refuse."

The room was silent once again teh offer was tempting but the king feared that the fire nation would use their weapons to commit more horrendous war crimes than before. He also preferred a more diplomatic approach to these sort of discussions.

"As generous of an offer as it is princess. We must refuse since I do not want to risk  the safety of my people." The king replies calmly

"OH How Unfortunate." Azula says with mock disappointment. "Here I though teh great Degurechauf family would actually prove to be a challenge for me. Instead of great warriors and a fearless leadership i see cowards who care More for peasants than absolute power like a true King. Yes how very disappointing." 

Tanya was ticked not only did this stuck up princess insult her family but she had the gall to call her father a coward and a weakling for simply caring for his subjects like a true king. Fed up with her mocking attitude Tanya decided to Put this Selfish Spoiled Brat in her place. 

Slamming her fist on the table and fixing Azula with a death stare Tanya confronted her. " So you think we are weak hmm because we care for our subjects You clearly know nothing about being a true princess so Allow me to change our answer. we accept Your duel terms. Besides I'm Itching for a challenge that's not pathetic rebels and rioters And You need to learn respect for my family and it seems like I will have to beat that respect into you myself." Tanya stated while cracking her knuckles.

Azula growled she was not used to such boldness even if it was form another princess however  to Azula Tanya was inferior and she would prove it to the gold haired Doll that called herself princess of these lands.

"I look forward to it." Azula growled as she and her guards were escorted to the arena.

(2 hours later).

Tanya walked onto the arena with the bright sun bearing down on them. Word had spread fast that there was a duel between the two princesses and People raced to the arena to watch a lot of people stood up and cheered as Tanya walked onto the platform to Azula this was insulting. When she walked up on the platform very few cheered.  itching to put the other in her place the two princesses turned and faced the wall their backs to each other. 

Tanya had her green armor on with the emblem of show long blazed on it the eagle and the shield sat proudly on her chest. She had a green cape over her armour as well. Azulla had a similar armour the only difference was the fire nation crest was on her chest plate and a red cape.

A gong sounded and the two princesses took up fire bending stances and the fight was on. The two simply circled each other both waiting for the other to make a move.

Tanya was analyzing Azula attempting to figure out her preferred method of attack. Coming to the conclusion that She would have to make the first move she threw a fire punch and Azula Simply blocked it before retaliating with a similar move. Tanya blocked it and threw a wide fire kick at Azula who simply blocked it yet again. 

Azula decided to now go on the offensive she wanted a quick victory and Knew that Tanya had not experienced bending like hers before. Firing two fast Fire kicks and two thrusts Tanya was clearly surprised a she struggled to block them and stumbled a little. smiling Azula fired two more shots targeting Tanya's Legs and chest. However Surprising Azula Instead of standing her ground and blocking it Tanya simply spun and dodged the strikes before firing a thrust at Azula which hit her square in the chest.

Tanya smirked She Now had a bit of a feel for Azula's power and Now knew how to deal with it. Tanya Knew that Azula most likely wanted A quick victory So Tanya Decided to Deny that But stalling and firing off precision shots which she was very good at. Taking some steps Back Tanya fired off two more thrusts at Azula who dodged them before retaliating with thrusts of her own. IT went back and forth between the two for a while.

Both preferred to fight at a distance so it was very difficult for either of them to get a hit on each other. Tanya knew that she had more patience than Azula who was clearly Getting frustrated as her attacks became more fierce with more power behind them. This was a problem since Tanya was slightly Smaller than Azula and Tanya did not want to get overwhelmed so she tried to back off a bit throwing some thrusts and kicks to delay Azula's Fierce advance. 

However One particular Fire kick Left Tanya exposed long enough for Azula to put both her fists into a thrust which caused Tanya to stumble and lose concentration briefly.

Stumbling on her feet in a back pedal motion Azula Pressed throwing more powerful strikes against Tanya. With a yell Azula dodged another thrust from Tanya and during her Dodge Azula did  a flip putting Both her feet and legs into a fire kick which threw Tanya back a few feet landing on her back.

Smirking Azula Breathing Heavily Began doing her lightning bending motions. Tanya also breathing hard propped her body up on her elbows and stared in shock as she witnessed blue Lightning Surround Azula who was staring at her murder clear in her eyes.

Pointing her fingers at Tanya Azula let the lighting flow in a arch at her opponent.

However thinking fast Tanya immediately channeled her bending into her feet which shot Tanya into teh air just as Azula's lighting hit the spot she was in mere moments before. Doing a spin kick mid air Tanya fired a fire kick at Azula who stared at her in shock that Tanya was doing fire propulsion. 

However as the red flames arched towards her Azula barely threw her arms up to clock teh attack which still sent her falling back. Getting back up Azula tried to get back into a stance But Tanya landed creating a shockwave with her bending which threw Azula off her feet again . 

Getting up again Azula was now clearly exhausted yelling in frustration Azula Charged Tanya. Tanya shot a fire punch at her again But Azula sidestepped and tackled Tanya into the ground. wrestling on teh ground Azula managed to put Tanya into a headlock. However Tanya Managed to use her propulsion to ram Azula into the wall behind them forcing Azula to release her.

Scrambling to their feet the two Princesses faced each other again Breathing hard both their armor was cracked and damaged. Glaring at Tanya Azula shot a fire kick At Tanya who breathing hard dodged and managed to use bother legs to shot a fire thrust out of both her feet the red flames racing towards Azula who could only stare in shock as the flames came closer.

An: I'm only going to do one chapter today since I wanted to leave a cliff hanger for you all. 

Quote: Power is nothing if the person does not poses the humility and wisdom to control it

Tanya: what does that quote even mean?

Author: That's up to the reader.

Tanya: You know that cliff hanger is evil right.

Author: yeah but it's not like you can do anything about it.

Tanya:🤨 Wanna bet( eyes begin to glow).

Author: Oh crap wait hold it. (scrambles to a trench).
