Tanya kneeled in her corner the sky illuminated by the Glow of Sozin's comet. Tanya Knew this was one Duel she had to win If the Avatar wouldn't deal with this Power hungry Lunatic then she would.

Looking back on everything that had happened since her reincarnation Tanya had never believed her once Meager Kingdom would rise to the standing of power it now had. However she fought not for herself or for glory and prestige. She fought for her family the innocent lives that had been destroyed because of this terrible 100 year war.

That was what separated her and Ozai. She fought to protect others, Ozai fought only for himself and his so called honor. Tanya could see it his lust for power his desire to destroy anything that got in his way this monster was finished or Tanya would die trying.

The stands were packed with fire nation nobles and military officials. However in Tanya's corner stood her men and sister.

"Tanya Kick His butt and end this war. I believe in you." Kyra reassured her with a hug.

The tender Moment was ruined by the fire sages who stepped onto the platform

"THIS GREAT AGNI KAI FOR THE DRAGON THRONE SHALL BE FOUGHT BETWEEN FIRE LORD OZAI AND PRINCESS TANYA OF SHOU-LONG. HOWEEVR THE PRINCESS MAY ONLY USE FIRE BENDING"

Burning His robe Ozai Marched into the middle of teh ring Tanya doing the same.

"Your Blond head will make a  fine trophy for me. A weak girl l like you stands no chance against me. Your defeat will be a symbol of how your great kingdom fell to me and my power grew beyond anyone's wildest dreams." Ozai boasted confidently.

"Do not be so sure of your self Fire Lord." Tanya replied mockingly.

"You brat I'll teach you respect like I did my son 3 years ago." 

"Burning someone does not teach them respect your vision is flawed and I'm going to end it." Tanya replied determinedly as she got into a fire bending stance.

Not missing a beat Ozai threw several powerful Fire balls At Tanya who was taken aback by his raw power. She struggled to hold her ground as Ozai continued his relentless onslaught. 

He now began to Mix Fire balls with streams of fire empowered by his kicks. Eventually this deadly combo did manage to knock Tanya to the ground flat on her back. Intending to end it then and there Ozai Jumped into the air fire engulfing His fist as he came down to finish the job.

In a split second reaction Tanya Managed to do a fire spin her red flames knocking ozai off balance. Wasting no Time Tanya backflipped back on her feet smirking at Ozai's enraged expression.

"MY turn now." Tanya declared as she now unleashed her own Barrage of Flames. Her fire balls however were more precise directed to knock the fire lord Off Balance and confuse him. 

It was true Ozai was more physically powerful then Tanya but her flames harnessed power were stronger then his. Further more  Tanya was also incredibly intelligent rivalled by few. Ozai attempted to catch Tanya off Guard BY using a Firm stance to knock Tanya off balance. 

But Tanya's tactic wasn't to overpower Ozai It was to out maneuver him. Even though she couldn't water bend or earth bend she could use both styles Key principals to her advantage. With the grace of  a water bender she harnessed her flames into long powerful streams that would often catch ozai a bit unprepared due to how precise they were and the power they had.

Like an earth bender however Tanya would stand her ground And break Ozai's own fire balls and streams he unleashed at her. Annoyed with her offensive an defensive combat style Ozai was determined to end this now.

Channelling Lighting He aimed for Tanya's heart. IN another split second move Tanya jumped out of the way but the ensuing blast sent her Flying into the wall breaking her armor to the extent that her left arm was now exposed.

However Standing UP breathing Hard Tanya once again clenched her fists Signalling she was still going to continue fighting. Both her and Ozai were breathing hard and exhausted But Ozai smiled and began to mock her.

"Still standing. Pathetic you Know princess when I kill you I reassure you that Shou-long will be taken care of." Ozai stated with a sly grin that triggered Tanya.

"You think That even if you kill me Shou-long will bow to your will. NO we served centuries of slavery under the earth kingdom and I will not let my people be forced into bondage under some war mongering lunatic." Tanya growled.

Her resolve increased Tanya's attacks became more ferocious and fast. Jumping into the air using fire bending she began to use her legs to fire numerous streams and fire balls at Ozai. Taken aback by the speed Ozai now found himself on the defensive.

With a growl Tanya fired two simultaneous Streams which formed an X fueled BY her fists firing streams of firing shooting it forward. 

Staring IN shock Ozai Could not plant his feet firm enough as the X hit him square in the chest sending him flying into the far wall knocking him unconscious.

Walking forward her armor chipped and her face scrapped she approached his body. Many cried for Tanya to end him but she knew that doing so would make him a martyr for those more fanatical members of the fire nation nobility. 

Turning to address the crowd Tanya spoke in a loud voice. 

"PEOPLE OF THE FIRE NATION YOUR WIL IS GREAT AN DI CAN SEE THE SPIRIT OF DRAGONS IN EVERY ONE OF YOU AGNI WOUDL BE PROUD. 

HOWEVER YOU WERE ALL DECEIVED. YOU WERE TOLD TEH FIRE NATION WAS THE GREATEST IN TEH WORLD AND YET WHENEVER WE TEH KINGDOM OF SHOU-LONG LIBERATED PEOPLE FROM YOUR GRIP THEY WOUDL GREAT US WITH HUGS AND KISSES.

FLOWERS COVERED THE STREETS OF BA SING SE WHEN WE FREED IT 2 MONTHS AGO. PEOPLE OF THE FIRE NATION IT IS TIME TO CHANGE LET US MAKE PEACE AND TOGTEHER WE CAN BUILD A WORLD ONE OF FREEDOM AND ONE WHERE TEH FIR ENATION DOES NOT INCITE FEAR BUT JOY."

When Tanya finished her Speech Azula came down from the stands followed by Numerous Generals and other nobles.

"WE PLEDGE OURSLEVES TO YOU EMPRESS TANYA MASTER OF THE WORLD." They called with one voice.

Reaching a hand out to Azula Tanya raised her Arm high into the air.

"As my first decree as empress I declare Azula Fire lord of this great nation." 

The cheers were deafening the war was finally over. 

(4 months later).

The world had begun teh slow process of rebuilding and Many were becoming more accepting to what had happened since that Fateful duel. 

Families were reunited and Equality and freedom were restored. Tanya after consulting with her family choose to not call her empire the Shou-long Empire. Instead she called it the Grand empire.

She did return Ba sing se to teh earth kingdom However the royal Family was replaced by a more morally guided Noble Family who held Similar beliefs to the Degurechaufs.

The fire nation was given great autonomy under Azula who had not undergone a mental breakdown due to her not feeling as pressured by the war.

The water tribes were fully independent but the South had favor from Tanya who wanted to see it develop like the north. Also Kyra still had a slight grudge against the Northern water tribe so they did struggle to gain more favor with the Grand empire.

The fire nation colonies were made into the united republic a nation where all could live together in harmony it was part of Tanya's dream of to unite this world as the Avatar never could.

Tanya declared the capital of the empire to be the City of Zon-lao a symbol of freedom and safety during the worlds darkest hour. Tanya also created Inner-Guard an international organization designed to patrol and police teh massive empire and to deal with corruption.

However it's secondary directive was to hunt down and capture the avatar. During the comet Aang and His friends along with the white lotus had vanished fearing they would become a threat to her united world Tanya ordered their capture to be a top priority.

with the war over Shou-long being recognized as the builder of teh grand empire a entity that did not oppress but build up the nations that had been broken by the war Tanya could only smile as she looked upon the streets of Zon-lao all she could envision was a future of peace an unity one forged by her and her family and no Avtar was going to ruin it.
