(an: I know I keep doing these time jumps. Again please don't hate).

(BA sing se 4 days before the day of black sun).

A Shou-long army of 350'000 stood tall and proud behind their Princesses It had been a grueling offensive But despite stubborn fire nation resistance they had made it the great city of ba sing se. 

For many of the soldiers it was a symbol of their 200 years of oppression and subjugation. It was a symbol that they were determined to take to show the their great kingdom was here to be a great player on the world stage and no avatar or earth king or fire lord would stop them.

Tanya and Kyra gon on the top of some crates to address the men while messengers carrying their speech went to relay it to the soldiers further back.

"SOLDIERS OF SHOU LONG. for over a year you have fought and died to protect our beloved Homeland from those who would seek to enslave and kill us you are the heroes of the Battle of Hanno, the masters of the valley of kinara,  the conquerors of the fields of Akizo. Over 200 years ago the Great avatar Kyoshi abandoned us to the cruelty of chin the Conqueror who enslaved us but we did not break we resisted him.

My soldiers our victories were made possible not because of me our Kyra but because of your strength, determination and wills and today we reward that. Men today we free our brothers and sisters from the tyranny of fire lord ozai and the neglect of King Kuei." Tanya became silent a she let Kyra finish for them.

"So come soldiers Pick up your guns and swords and lets go show the fire nation what happens when you oppress our brothers and sisters. ONWARD LADIES AND GENTLEMEN TO OUR GREATEST BATTLE AND OUR GREATEST VICTORY HAIL SHOU-LONG." Kyra cried out with a raised fist.

"HAIL SHOU-LONG AND THE ROYAL FAMILY." The soldiers replied enthusiastically as they began marching forward.

(1 day earlier).

Tanya had suspected that the fire nation would be mostly concentrated on the inside of teh city and she knew that the best way that they could win. Commissioning a special group of 10  fire benders and 20 earth benders who served Shou-long she sent them to the outer wall of ba sing se with the goal of digging tunnels to the inner walls and when the army would attack they would bring barrels of blasting jelly and other explosives to topple the fire nations main defensive position.

The Earth benders were digging tunnels that would take them under the inner wall the area the fire nation would be strongest.

"Are we almost there."  A fire bender asked impatiently a flame in his hand to light up the tunnel.

"Yes corporal I can feel the movement of the many enemy soldiers just a little farther up ahead." teh earth bender captain replied pushing a bit more earth out of the way.

About an Hour later the captain stopped. "We've made it we are right bellow the inner wall." The captain then turned to address another NCO. " Sergeant take 6 men and head out of the tunnel and I want you to inform princess Tanya that it is done."

"Yes sir." The sergeant replied with a salute as he and 6 others ran out. 

The captain and the others than began to work to expand teh tunnel so the explosion would collapse more of the tunnel wall.

(3 days before the eclipse).

Kyra led her men forward using her water bending to freeze fire benders  in their way and used her sword to contend with any enemy soldiers who got to close. The sight of their warrior princess contending with fire nation enemy soldiers bolstered her men's morale and many lowered bayonets and charged while others fired volley after volley of bullets against the fire nation.

"PUSH FORWARD SOLDIERS STAAND AS ONE." Kyra called out while dodging a spear from an enemy soldier before sidestepping and severing it.

"YOU HEARD THE PRINCESS PUSH FORWARD."

As their forces neared Ba sing se's Inner wall swarms of tundra tanks suddenly emerged and began firing at them killing many.

"FALL BACK ALL MEN HEAD TO THE ARTILLERY BATTALIONS AND TELL THEM TO TURN THEIR GUNS ON THE TUNDRA TANKS, EARTH BENDERS TRY TO DELAY THEM WHILE ALSO CONDUCTING A FIGHTING WITHDRAW." Kyra commanded over the roar of the battle as she and her divisions began to fall back while luring the tundra tanks and their supporting forces to the cannons.

(Mean while with Tanya).

Tanya had ordered a division to supply the tunnels with explosives while the rest of her army kept the enemy busy.

However Tanya spotted  a fire nation officer taking down her men like they were nothing. IT came as a surprise when that officer called out to them.

"SOLDIERS OF SHOU-LONG BRING FORTH YOUR LEADER  I WISH TO DUEL IF THEY WIN ME AND MY DIVISION WILL SURRENDER. BUT IF WE WIN YOU MUST SURRENDER TO US."

"Very well." Tanya replied striding forward discarding her gun and taking up a fire bending stance.

The Fire nation officer was aggressive by nature while he had some technique it was very poor.

Throwing fire balls he attempted to take Tanya off Guard but she simply dodged or broke the fire balls. 

He then tried doing fire kicks but Tanya either flipped Over the streams of fire or used her own fire balls to break them.

"ARE YOU GOING TO EVEN ATTACK OR ARE YOU GOING TO KEEP FIGHTING LIKE  A COWARD." the officer mocked.

Tanya smirked before replying." You want me to attack oh well your funeral." 
Tanya then thrust both her arms forward and shot twin streams of fire at the officer who looked shocked at her red flames and struggled to block it.

Tanya then unleashed 4 fire kicks at the officer that knocked him over on his back.

Walking forward the officer tried to throw one more fire ball but Tanya dodged it and knocked him out with a swift punch.

The fire nation soldiers a part of his division all knelled or threw their weapons on the ground.

"Mam look your sister is in trouble."  A soldier called to Tanya.

"Hmm Send an order tell captain zole to Set the charges off and bring the wall down. I want ten thousand of these men to escort these prisoners to General Rommel and Inform him we will need 3 more divisions to back us up. The rest of us will charge and attack once that wall comes down and We will attack teh rear of teh fire nation forces putting pressure on Kyra."

(with Kyra).

A fire ball was thrown onto a rope that was connected to 6 tons of explosives. 

Meanwhile Kyra and her men were struggling Bravely But her forces were down to only 70'000 fighting men as the canons continued to try and destroy the tundra tanks while her soldiers also attempted to protect the cannons. 

"HOLD FIRM MEN." Kyra Called out while throwing a stream of water at the Fire nation soldiers.

Only 5 minutes later Kyra saw a massive explosion erupt under a section of Ba sing se's inner wall. The sudden shockwave of the wall coming down stunned the fire nation into silence as Shou-long troops hurried to capitalize on their advantage while they could.

Soldiers jumped on the tanks and used their bayonets to pry them open and dragged out the fire nation troops within them.

Kyra then rallied her forces who once again charged forward to the inner wall.

(Day of black sun).

The last 4 days of fighting had been brutal street to street house to house. The fire nation didn't care about civilian casualties who got in the way while Shou-long took great pains to try and ensure as few civilian losses as possible.

Tanya was unleashing her full power bending fire nation soldiers into the ground Using fire spins to take out score s of soldier on her own and Using water bending to freeze them to walls.

However some civilians recognized the armor Tanya and her men were wearing and whenever one of Tanya's men were killed Some civilians would take their place grabbing that soldiers gun and returning fire against the fire nation.

Kyra was also engaged in similar brutal fighting And More than Once Kyra Like Tanya had a few close class with a lucky spear or sword fighter.

However they were winning and Shou-long was closing in on the Earth Palace.

"Mam Look."  A Soldier called out to Kyra pointing to the sky.

"The eclipse all men double time it we have to push as far as possible before the eclipse happens." Kyra commanded while running forward followed by her men.

Shou-long was determined to win this battle King Virden had even ordered a Air raid on the earth palace to ensure it was weaker so his daughters would have an easier time taking it.

When the eclipse did happen Tanya and Kyra's respective armies doubled their speed and efforts capitalising on the fire nations weakness.

Fire nation soldiers surrendered upon realization that their bending was useless. Over 10'000 prisoners were taken in only a few minutes. 

And the few fire nation soldiers who did not posses bending but a spear or gun were too few to offer significant resistance.

Eventually Shou-long troops were marching into the palace and seizing it, they burned the fire nation flag and replaced it with the crest and flag of Shou-long.

Tanya sat upon the earth thrown with Kyra by her side.

"We've won Kyra." Tanya smiled a smile Kyra returned.

News spread fast about the fall of Ba sing se to Shou-long. The resistance was surprised and a little jealous since their own invasion against the fire nation had failed.

The fire lord was outraged and ordered for an immediate counter attack since Omashu had also fallen to the earth kingdom on the same day. However many Generals Knew that the war was now hopeless

However in the midst of their Triumph Tanya received a strange letter from Azula.

'Princess Tanya hope this letter finds you well.

I want to get straight onto business so Myself and many others no longer wish to continue this war with you but Ozai will not listen to reason so I have a proposal for you. Sozin's comet will be here soon and I want my nation to still have some of it's pride before MY Father destroys it all.

You think You'd be up to the challenge.
