After the Battle of the Kau river in 97 ag Shou-long was galvanized behind the war effort and many were determined to put the aggressive earth kingdom in their place. Many loyalists to Shou-long were determined to win the war simply to bring teh earth kingdom under the rule of who they called their true King. King Virden Degurechauf.    

Many however saw this as inevitable due to Shou-longs History with the Earth Kingdom. around 300 years ago the Degurechauf family had founded Shou-long with the desire to create a free state one where all would be equal with the same opportunity to make money. 

However over the course of history there had been many wars that had been waged by the earth kingdom to reclaim their lost territory. Shou-long never received Full independence until the early days of Avatar Roku. 

They had chosen neutrality mostly due to them not wanting to take sides in a conflict that they felt did not concern them but after that Invasion attempt all thoughts of Neutrality went out the window. 

Shou-long's factories had also been working on improving the weapons with Tanya being teh main designer behind the new weapons. Among them was the Mk 75 long rifle a gun that could hold  a magazine something that would shorten reload time and allow for Shou-Long's numerically inferior army a chance against their earth kingdom enemies.

Further more they developed the Shou-long 77 mm Cannon a Cannon capable of Firing up to over 10'000 meters a big advantage since most catapults could only reach 7'000 meters However these inventions were pretty recent only being produced periodically over the recent 6 months. 

However despite that Shou-long even without their new toys was still leagues ahead of most nations in terms of tech especially with their newest iron clad war ships which made the Shou-long grand fleet a true master of the seas. 

Currently Shou-long was Following a new Plan called Operation Trident  three part Operation 

(Flash back 97 ag Shou long High command). 

Various Generals admirals and ministers gathered in the main conference room awaiting the royal family. They had only recently joined teh war 2 months ago and they needed a new plan one that the earth kingdom would never expect.

After 2 hours of waiting the 3 royals finally joined them However Much to the Various officials surprise It wasn't the king who stood up to address the room it was the princess.  

"Gentle man I Know you were all expecting My father to address you but he has kindly allowed me to propose  a new plan for our war with the earth kingdom. 

We Know that the earth kingdom prides itself on the invincibility of ba sing se so they would most likely expect our armies to march to the north only one problem with that. Ba sing see is 500 miles to the north of our front line forces so Launching a campaign of that size will surely but a serious strain on our resources and manpower something we cannot afford.

So we will instead take a difference approach this operation will be called operation trident. 

Phase 1: we will Send an army of 40'000 to both maolong and zon-lao to reinforce our hold of the ports and since intelligence has reported the fire nation is under intense pressure we can negotiate with them to pull back just far enough for our more fresh forces to occupy the main surrounding provinces near both ports and that will hopefully give us two 75 mile  bulges along the earth kingdoms north west and south west coasts.

Phase 2:  a main army force of 400'000 will advance to the north to size the earth kingdoms eastern carbon, coal, copper, aluminum and iron mines."

"That big of a push will be at least 275 miles to teh north to seize those objectives and the front would be expanded to almost 400 miles wide which would be a result of us capturing your proposed objectives." A general points out clearly concerned.

"General I appreciate your concern but let my Daughter finish." The king cuts him off before Tanya can reprimand him at all.

"Thank you father. Now in order for Phase 2 to be fully successful we need to Initiate phase three shortly after.

Phase 3: We will need to send 6'000 men mostly earth, water, fire benders deep into earth kingdom territory. Their objectives will be to sabotage the earth kingdom war effort and spread espionage which will be promotion Our conquest and war effort and to discredit the earth king specifically to gain support all across the earth kingdom." 

It was a bold plan but many generals could see where Tanya was coming form her Operation would work like clockwork. the Two armies reinforcing their port cities would force the earth kingdom to make efforts to reclaim them, The sudden march of such a large army would shock the Earth kingdom enough for Shou-long to make some advances northwards. Finally their sabotage and spy unit would be making it almost impossible to supplies to the front lines and make it very difficult for the Earth army to make recruitments. 

(Present time).

Operation trident was working but it was by no means quick. the two port cities had been seizing small amounts of territory around them slowly but they could not expand to far or else risk the loss of the crucial ports they guarded.

The main army's march north had taken the earth kingdom by surprise. which allowed them to seize 100 miles of territory and this includes some mines essential to the creation of  their new weapons. However teh earth kingdom was not making it easy since the further north they went teh more stubborn the earth armies fought.

However their espionage campaign was working almost flawlessly. every month it seemed like 10'oo new refuges showed up in Shou-long eager to fight against the earth kingdom. 

However one day news reached Tanya and she was furious.   

"Mam a report from our espionage forces in the earth kingdom."

"Lets hear it Minster sun-Hai."

"Report A boy with air bender tattoos sighted near a small fire nation occupied village aiding rebels against fire nation forces. Local intelligence Believes the boy is the avatar."

Tanya froze the avatar was back and he would surely aid her nation's enemies within the earth kingdom. she couldn't just order his immediate Arrest if He was sighted in Shou-long since he was popular among recent refugees. 

"If he is ever sighted in Shou-long general. 

BRING HIM TO ME!!!!" Tanya orders sitting on her throne fist clenched and eyes glaring out the window.

'Mark my words avatar you will answer for your neglect to your duty.' Tanya promised internally

AN: He's back and Tanya ain't to thrilled about that my friends lol. Also Note I am updating more frequently since I plan to release a new story soon but just its prologue mostly. Don't worry I won't rush this story. Also this will be the only chapter today.
