The day of Sangeet's 25th anniversary :

(Haider is seen instructing his team)

Haider - Guys, we really need to give our best performance today. Ms. Kapoor ke liye aaj ka din bohot important hein aur hume iss din ko unke liye perfect banana hein.

(Meera walks in)

Haider -Also... (Haider stops midway)

(He sees Meera...and his breath is taken away at once as he admires her beauty and the charm around her) (Meera talking to Lavanya)

Meera- Hi Lavanya. It's great seeing you after so long.

Lavanya- Oh come on Meera. You don't have to be so formal. I agree mein sangeet ke kaafi projects ke liye shoots karti hu par hum college friends bhi hein yaar.

(Jasmine Bhasin as lavanya)

Meera- Obviously, how can I forget the most popular girl from our college.

Lavanya- Me!? And most popular! Dude... Hamare college ka sabse popular gang was you guys!! You, Shivaay, Bani, and Asad.

(She giggles but Meera's smile fades away. Listening to his mere name was enough to steer up all the emotions she had been hiding within herself for so long.)

Aman- Omggg!!

Haider - Kya hua Aman?

Aman - Am I dreaming by any chance?

Haider - Matlab?

Aman- That's Lavanya Mathur.

Haider- Who? (he looks around to see who Aman is talking about)

(Aman points out in Lavanya's direction. She was busy talking to Meera. But as soon as Haider turned his eyes were fixed on Meera)

Aman- She is beautiful. Isn't she?

Haider (looking at Meera with a dreamy gaze. He whispers) - Yes she is.

Aman- Haider...

Haider- Haan... So who's she?

Aman- Wait you don't know who Lavanya Mathur is!?

(Haider shake his head)

Aman- She is one of the top models of India. Woh sangeet ke bohot saare music videos mein cast ho chuki hai. Don't tell me tune aaj tak sangeet ka koi gaana nahi suna.

Haider - Of course suna hein. Par 'dekha' nahi. I don't like this whole concept of music videos and all. I feel agar aawaz mein jaan ho toh inn sabki zarurat padti hi nahi hai.

Aman - Acha fine... Tu apni philosophy apne paas rakh. Main toh Lavanya se milne ja raha hu. (Aman says in a very excited tone)

Haider - Accha ja! (pushing him away and laughing)

Lavanya- Kya hua Meera? Tu thik hai na?

Meera - Yeah I am fine Lav.

Lavanya- So how are the world-famous lovebirds? Humare college ka sabse cute couple!

(Meera couldn't handle it anymore)

Meera - I have to check the arrangements Lavanya. You enjoy the party. I'll catch you later.

(she leaves abruptly, leaving Lavanya confused. Just then, as she turns around, she collides with someone )

Aman- Oh shit. Aap thik hein?

Lavanya- I am fine... Ye Meera ko kya hua? (she says rubbing her head)

Aman- I think Meera mam aaj ke arrangements ko lekar thodi tensed hein. Btw... Hi. I am Aman. (he extends his hand)

Lavanya- Hi Aman, I am Lavanya.(she says shaking his hand)

Aman- Aapko kon nahi jaanta (he giggles)

(Lavanya smiles)

(Veer enters the venue. He is dressed in a black suit covered in sequins. Looking more dashing than ever, all the heads turn as he walks in.

Just then somebody pats on his shoulder)

Veer - Chandu. Hii!!

Chandani - Hey V! Kya baat hein, aaj toh kai ladkiyan ghayal hone wali hein. Poora model look huh! (she winks giggling)

(Veer chuckles)

Veer - Accha waise uss din toh mein tujhe puchna hi bhool hi gaya tha. Yash kaisa hein?? Kaafi time se baat nahi hui usse.

Chandani- Tu toh usse janta hein V. Kaam mein busy hein. Hamari shaadi ke functions start ho usse pehele woh saare important projects ka kaam khatam karna chahta hein. Waise uss din Bani maam...

(Veer starts coughing)

Chandani- Kya hua V? You alright?

(Chandani hands Veer a glass of water. That's when Bani enters and sees the scene)

Veer's eyes then spot on Bani.

Bani enters wearing a gold shimmery saare with a brown velvet blouse. The colors of her outfit compliment her light skin tone. Her curled hair spread around her shoulders.

Veer exhales deeply. Looking at her, for a moment he forgets about the glass in his hand. The glass slips from his hand and he comes back to reality.

Chandani- V! Kya hua yaar?!

Veer- Kuch nahi. Just excuse me for a sec. Mein abhi aaya.

(He takes a step towards Bani but she leaves immediately )

Veer-(in mind) Abb kya hogaya isse...

Payal is busy checking all the arrangements near the poolside. That's when somebody pulls her to the corner. Payal is about to scream but finds a hand blocking her mouth.

Akash- Payal! Main hu.

Payal - Akash!! Pagal ho kya! Tumne toh mujhe dara hi diya.

(Akash holds Payal's waist and pulls her closer.)

Payal - Kya kar rahe ho tum Akash. Koi dekh lega.(she giggles)

Akash- Toh dekh lene do Payal. Apni fiance ke pass aane ke liye ab mujhe kisi se darne ki zarurat thodi na hein.

Payal - Akash tum jante ho. Shaadi tak mein nahi chahti ki kisi ko hamare baare mein pata chale.

Akash- Pata hein mujhe Payal. Aur waise bhi sabse nazre churakar romance karne ka apna hi maza hein. Kyu? (Akash teases payal with a smirk on his face)

Payal - Abhi mein kaam kar rahi hoon Mr. Akash Hooda... Toh, it's better aap apni boss ki secretary se thodi doori rakhen. ( she gives him a naughty smile and starts leaving)

(Akash gives her a side hug)

Akash- As you wish, soon to be Mrs. Akash Hooda.

Announcer- So ladies and gentlemen. Let's make this occasion even more special with a beautiful dance.

Haider (gathers up his courage and walks towards Meera. He extends his hand, asking Meera) - May I?

Meera is taken by surprise. She gives in. Her hand slides in, fitting in his'. They move to the dance floor.

(As the music starts they move their bodies with the rhythm of the music... gazing at each other...lost.

Meera's hair flew with the wind. Haider places his hand on her waist. While he interlocks the other with hers. Meera's heart flutters with feelings and excitement of sorts.

Dono ko kuch ehsaas ho raha tha...par kya? Ye woh bhi nahi samajh paaye...Unn dono ka dil bas ye chahta tha ki woh lamha wohi tham jaye...)

Haider - Ms. Kapoor...

Meera (not breaking the eye contact) - Hmm

Haider- I am sorry. Mujhe uss din aap per chilana nahi chahiye tha. I misunderstood you. Mujhe laga tha ki aapne manoramaji ke sath batmeezi ki.

Meera- Aap manoramaji ko jante hein?

Haider- Main bhi unse ussi din mila tha. Kisi ladki ne unke sath batameezi ki thi aur mujhe laga ki woh aap thi. Aap please mujhe maaf kar dijiye.

Meera- It's alright Haider. Woh sirf ek galatfami thi. But I still want to tell you something. Mere paas paisa zaroor hai par iska matlab ye nahi ki main logon ki kadar nahi karti. Unke jazzbaton ki kadar nahi karti.

Haider- Mein ab yeh jaan chuka hoon Ms. Kapoor.

Meera- Aap mujhe Meera bula sakte hein. It's okay.

Haider- Toh kya aapne mujhe maaf kardiya Ms. Ka... Meera.

Meera- Ji.

(Haider smiles)

Veer approaches Bani and pulls her to the dance floor.

Bani - Kya kar rahe ho tum?

Veer- Main kya kar raha hu? Tum batao tum kya kar rahi ho?

Bani- What do you mean?

Veer- Ohh now you don't know what I mean. Jab se aaya hu, tumne mujhse nazre tak nahi milayi hai.

Bani- Is it really that important to you?

(Veer pulls Bani closer.)

Veer- Important? After everything that happened yesterday. Tum apni importance pooch rahi ho meri life. Of course tum important ho!

Bani- Ohh accha. That's shocking. I mean I'm pretty sure ki Mr. Veer Singhania ke liye kal jo kuch bhi hua woh koi special baat nahi hogi. Kal tum mere saath the... usse pehle kisi aur ke saath rahe hoge aur aaj kisi aur ke saath.

(Veer was angry and hurt. He couldn't digest the fact that Bani was questioning his feelings. He pulled her wrist gently and she fell into his arms)

Veer- Toh tum mere bare mein ye sochti ho...

Bani- Main toh kya, sab tumhare bare mein yehi sochte hein. Doosron ko kuch aur sochne ka vaise bhi tumne konsa koi mauka diya hai. Roz toh tum kisi nayi ladki ke saath hote ho. Anyway, aaj ke liye tumhe apni chandani par dhyan dena chahiye...Kahi woh naraz na hojaye.

Veer- Chandani?

Bani- Haan tumhari chandu. Use bhi bhool gaye?

Veer- Chandu meri bachpan ki friend hein. In fact, she is fucking engaged and you think I am two-timing you both. Mujhe nahi pata tha ki mere baare mein tumhari soch itni ghatiya hein.

(Bani is in shock after listening to this. A feeling of guilt takes over her. She registers all the harsh words that just escaped from her mouth in the shield of jealousy)

Bani - Veer... I am...

Veer- Nahi Bani. (he steps back raising his hand, stopping her in her way) You don't have to say anything. Main hi galat tha jo mujhe laga ki... Never mind. Tum chinta mat karo, abb main tumahare samne kabhi nahi aaunga.

(Veer leaves)

Akash takes Payal to the dance floor, their hands entwined together.

Akkhaan te sajaa ke tu ae meri wafaa

Akash - Did I tell you ki aaj tum kitni sundar lag rahi ho?

Payal - Ji...kam se kam 10 baar. (she chuckles)

Akash- I really can't wait for the day jis din tum puri tarah se meri ho jaogi, aur mein tumhara Jis din tum apne hathon mein humesha ke liye mera naam likh dogi.

Payal- Tumhara naam mein kabka apne dil par likh chuki hoon Akash. Aur tumne likha kya??

Akash- Sochna padega...hmm(he winks and starts laughing)

Payal (elbows him in the stomach)- You better!

(Both of them start laughing)

Aman also asks Lavanya to dance with him. She agrees.

Lavanya- Thanks, Aman.

Aman- Agar tum free ho toh... Kya hum ye sunday coffee pe ja sakte hein...?

Lavanya- Are you asking me out on a date Aman?

Aman- Depends if you want it to be one. (he says with a flirtatious smile on his face)

Lavanya- Okay. So it's a date.

(Both of them smile)

Announcer- Okay guys! Put your hands together for the last performance of the day by Mr. Haider and his team.
