Meera reaches the graveyard where Haider was. She sees him in front of a grave but Haider doesn't notice her.

Haider - Jaanti hein choti, zindagi ek bohot lamba safar hein, aur lambe safar mein kaanch ka saman aksar tut jata hein.

Hum sab ke andar kuch kanch sa tuta hua hein. Shayad ussi ko hum dil kehte hein.

Iss dil ki fitrat hein, kabhi akele nahi judta, judta hein toh kisi aur ke dil ke saath.

Main aur Meera bhi akele the, jo shayad mukkamal hone ke liye ek dusre ki talash kar rahe the.

Kal gusse main na jane kya sab keh diya maine unhein, abb samjh nahi aa raha hein ki kya kahu unse. Chot toh lagi hein iss dil par choti, agar unhe waqt chahiye tha toh mujhe unhe dena chahiye tha. Pata nahi main suddenly itna insecure kaise feel karne laga. Janta hu ki woh bohot mohhabat karti hein mujhse, shayad unka ateet (past) unhein aage badhne se abhi bhi rok raha hein. Par waqt ke saath shayad unka mujhpar bharosa aur pakka hojaye. Main abb tak tere baare mein unhe nahi bataya paya hu aur unpar ilzaam laga baitha ki woh cheezen chupa rahi hein. Kash tu hoti aur hum milkar teri honewali bhabhi ko manate. (He smiles sadly.)

Meera hears it all. She was very emotional. Haider was blaming himself for everything that had happened last night. If it was for someone else, they would have rather blamed her and left.

But he...he was different. Even though he was hurt, he was still trying to understand her situation.

Meera(in a crying tone) - Haid... Haider...

(Haider turns and sees Meera standing beside him. He was stunned.)

Haider- Meera... Aap...

(Before Haider could say anything, she hugged him tightly, tears flowing from her eyes.)

Haider- Meera, roiye mat.. I am sorry... I know...

Meera- Aap itne aache kyun hein Haider!

Haider-Meera...

Meera-Kuch mat kahiye. Bas yunhi mujhe aapki bahon mein rehne dijiye...

Meera (in mind, looking at Firdous's grave) - Main janti hu tumne galti ki thi Firdous par jisne tumse ye gunaah karwaya usse main sukoon se jeene nahi dungi. Chaar zindagiyon ko barbaad kar diya uss insaan ne. Mera wada hein ye apne aap se ki abb tanhaiyon ko apni jholi mein woh insaan lega jisne humari  ye halat ki hein.

Haider - Kahan kho gayi (he says breaking the hug)

Meera- I am sorry Haider, mujhe kal ...Aapse...

Haider- shh... Kal ki baat nahi karte hein.

(Meera gives a guilty smile)

Haider- Waise aap yahaan kaise...?

Meera- Woh Ammi ne bataya...

Haider- Main woh...

Meera- Main janti hu Haider, aapko kuch kehene ki zarurat nahi hein.

Haider - Aaiye phir aapko main isse milwata hu... Hamari ghar ki sabse badi badmash se... (he laughs) Meri choti behen, Firdous…

Aur choti...yeh hai Meera...

Meera smiles at him looking at his love for his sister.

Meera- Aapse milkar behad khushi huyi Firdous.

(Haider smiles)

Meera- Ek baat bolu Haider.

Haider - Boliye...

Meera - Pata nahi abhi mujhe ye kehena chahiye ya nahi..,par Haider main sach mein manti hu ki Firdous aapko kabhi chod kar gayi hi nahi, woh aaj bhi aapke dil mein zinda hein. Isiliye, ye uska hak banta hein ki woh aapki tanhaiyon ki wajah nahi balki aapki khushiyon ki wajah bane. Jo voh apne bhaijaan se itni mohabbat karti thi, kya usse accha lagega ki uski wajah se uske bhaijaan dard mein hein, taqleef mei hein?

(Haider felt overwhelmed listening to Meera trying to heal all the pain in his heart that his sister's death had caused.)

Haider- Main choti ko nahi bacha paya Meera. Main toh uske gunehgaar ke baare mein pata bhi nahi laga paya. (He says, on the verge of crying)

Meera- Haider...(She makes him face her and wipes away his tears.) Aap khudko blame karna band kijiye. Aapki koi galati nahi thi. Dekh rahi hein Firdous apne bhaijaan ko... (she says facing the grave) Bikul buddhu hein. Jo insaan sirf dusron ki khushiyon ke baare mein sochte hein, apne toh apne, parayon ko bhi khush rakhte hein, woh kabhi itni badi galati karhi nahi sakte. Samjhe?

Haider- (hugs her tightly) Main aapse bohot mohabbat karta hu Meera. Aapke bina jee nahi sakta mein...

Meera hugs him back- Main bhi.

(Meera gets a call. They pull apart.)

Meera-Mr. Ahulia ka phone hein. Ek sec.

Meera-(on-call) Yes Mr. Ahulia... oh that's great news! Main abhi sangeet aa rahi hu.

Haider- Kya hua Meera?

Meera- Sangeet ne finally musically-one ke saath deal crack kar li hein!

Haider - Congrats Meera!

Meera- Thank you. Mujhe abhi sangeet ke liye nikalna padega.

Haider- Chaliye, main aapko chod deta hu.

(Meera nods and they leave for Sangeet.)

As the door opens, Veer sees his choti dadi (Balwant's aunt) standing in front of him.

Veer- Ye kaise ho sakta hein...choti dadi!! (he smiles and hugs her)

Yamini (choti dadi) -Arre mera bacha...Kaisa hein?

Veer-Main thik hu choti dadi. Dad ne bataya tha ki aap parson aane wali hein par aaj...

Yamini- Tumhare liye surprise tha, ya phir ye kahu ki ek surprise abhi bhi baaki hein.

Veer-Ek aur surprise?

Yamini- Khud hi dekhlo.

(Tapish and Misha appear from behind Yamini.)

(A/N: Tapish is Yamini's grandson and Veer's cousin and Misha is his wife)

Veer-Tapish bhai!! Misha bhabhi! (he smiles and goes to hug them)  Aap sab nahi jaante main kitna khush hu!

(Yamini smiles. Bani stood at the door awkwardly.)

Veer- Aree Bani tum wahan kyun khadi ho? Andar aao, main tumhe sabse milwata hu.

(Bani enters and Yamini scans her from head to toe.)

Veer- Choti dadi, ye Bani hein. Aapki honewali bahu.

(Bani bends and touches her feet out of respect)

Yamini- Shukr hein kapde kaise bhi ho par sanskar toh hein...

(Bani stands up, giving her a puzzled look at her stereotypical remark.)

Veer- Choti dadi… (Veer tries to stop her but Bani holds his hand.)

Bani- Kapdo ka kya hein choti dadi, niyat toh dekhne waali ki aakhon mein hoti hein.

(she smiles in a slightly sarcastic way. Yamini gives her an angry look.)

Veer- (trying to ease the tension, though he was proud of his sweetheart's answer) Accha Bani, tum abb bhai aur bhabhi se milo. Ye hein Tapish bhai, world's bestest brother.

(Bani bends to touch his feet but Tapish stops her.)

Tapish- Arey Bani, tum toh meri behen jaisi ho, ye sab formalities ki zarurat nahi hein.

Veer- Aur ye hein Misha bhabhi. Ye sab kayi time se Jaipur mein reh rahe the. Kaam ki wajah se engagement mein aa nahi payi the.

Misha - Hii Bani! Tumse milkar bohot khushi huyi.

(She hugs her. Bani hugs her back. Bani loved the vibe Tapish and Misha gave her. Tapish had an older brother’s aura whereas Misha seemed like her long-lost sister.)

Bani- Aap dono se milkar mujhe bohot accha laga.

Yamini- Abb tum dono ka hogaya ho, toh jao khaane ki tayari karo.

Bani- Ji?

Misha- Ji dadi. (Misha nods and starts leaving for the kitchen.)

Bani- Par Misha di aap kyun...yahaan helpers hein, woh bana denge. Aap abhi toh aayi hein  aur...

Yamini- Lo! Inn aaj kal ki ladkiyon ko abb isse bhi dikat hein. Char logon ka khana nahi bana sakti.

(Bani was getting triggered by Yamini's comments, but she was trying to control herself from saying anything to her. She didn't want to ruin their reunion.)

Bani- Main bana dungi...Misha di aap baithiye.

Misha - Bani tum pehele change karlo warna tumhe sardi lag jayegi.

Yamini- Tumlog bheege kaise?

Veer- Woh dadi, barish ki wajah se.

Yamini- Barish...par yahan toh nahi huyi baarish.

Veer- Dadi woh, mumbai hein hi jaadu ka shehar...yahan kabhi kabhi baarish hoti hein toh pata bhi nahi chalta. (He says with a grin. Tapish, Misha, and Bani smile.)

Yamini- Pata nahi beta. Humne toh kabhi nahi suna aesa kuch. 

Veer- Abb sunlijiye dadi.

Misha - Aao Bani, main tumhe apne kapde de deti hu.

(Bani goes with Misha and returns wearing a saree. Veer looks at her and smiles.)

Yamini- Toh jao Veer ki dulhan, humare liye khana banao.

Bani-(in mind) Veer ki dulhan!? Aese kon bulata hein. Naam hai mera...

(Bani goes to the kitchen. She had never been a great cook but today she really wanted to make something good. She didn’t want Yamini to get yet another just to comment about her. She starts cooking. After some time somebody comes and hugs her from the back.)

Bani-Veerr...Mein pehele hi bohot tension mein hoon, abhi pareshan mat karo, please.

Veer- Meri mohabbat se tum pareshan ho sweetheart... (Acting as if he is hurt.)
Bani-Tum yahan dialogues maarte raho aur tumhare climax main aayi huyi choti dadi mera band bajayengi.

Veer-I am sorry Bani...unki taraf se. (He says feeling guilty.)

Bani-Arey baba, main mazak kar rahi thi. It's okay, main sambhal lungi. (She gives him a smile and tries to wipe away a strand of hair from her face. Some flour from her hand remains on her face.)

Veer-Bani...woh... (he points towards her face.)

Bani- Kya? (She tries to wipe her face but ends up  smudging the flour further.)

Veer- Aree. (He moves forward.)

Bani- Veer kya kar rahe ho...koi dekh lega...

Veer- Par sweetheart main toh...(He again moves towards her)

Bani- Abhi toh hum lake se aaye hein aur tum...

Veer- (understood what she thought and decided to tease her further) Aesa kya hua lake mein sweetheart?

Bani- Tum!

Veer- Main kya? (he says innocently.)

Veer- Accha abb mujhe tumhari help karne do...

Bani - Kaisi help? Veer dekho...

(Veer continues moving towards her while Bani keeps moving back, she finally hits the cupboard. Veer moves towards her further and Bani closes her eyes. Veer smiles looking at her.)

Veer- Hogaya!

Bani- Kya?

Veer- Aata tumhare chehre se nikal gaya. (He says controlling his laughter)

Veer - Waise ek baat bolu honewali gharwali? Tum saree se le kar meri shirt, sab mein bohot khoobsurat lagti ho. (he kisses her cheek and leaves. Bani smiles)

(After some time Bani gets the food to the dining table. She had made aloo parathas and raita.)

Bani- Ye lijiye garma garam aloo ke parathe! (She smiles and starts serving it to everybody.)

Yamini- Itni der mai bas aloo ke parathe? Hamare yahan toh itni der main poore chappan bhog tayar hojate hein.

Bani- Toh kabhi aap banakar dikhayiga dadi...

(Everybody chokes on their food)...Matlab, kabhi aap dikhaiega dadi, main aapse seekh lungi.(she says with a fake smile)

(Bani then notices Misha standing in the corner.)

Bani- Misha di, aap wahaan kya kar rahi hein? Aaiye, hum sab ke saath baithkar khaiye na.

Veer-Haan bhabhi...Aap...

Yamini- Kya matlab aaiye? Pati se pehele patni kha sakti hein bhala? Patni ka toh kartavya hein ki woh apne pati ka jhutha khaye...Rishta mazboot hota hein usse.

Bani- Dadi, ye kaisa riwaaz hein? Aur agar jhutha khaane se waakai rishta mazboot hota hein toh pati aur patni, dono ko ek dusre ka jhutha khana chahiye. Bas aurat hi kyun ye bekar ke superstitions ko follow kare?

Yamini- Kaisi batameez ladki se shadi kar raha hein tu Veer!? Isse acchi ladki toh main dhundh leti tere liye. Maine yeh socha bhi tha ki teri shaadi Tanu se karwa dungi. Lekin tu hein ki...

Veer-Bas dadi. Bas. Abb aur ek shabd nahi. Bani bilkul sahi keh rahi hein. Main kabse dekh raha hu aapko...aap Bani ko tana marne ka ek mauka nahi chod rahi hein. Kis zamane mai jee rahi hein aap!?

Yamini- Iss ladki ke liye tu abb mujhse ladega Veer!!

Tapish- Veer, dekh, dadi ki soch purani hein, tu bura mat maan.

Veer- Bhai, iss soch ki wajah se bhabhi kitni parishaniyon se guzri hongi. Main samajh sakta hu ki hamari soch mei antar ho sakta hein. Par woh kam se kam do kadam toh hamari taraf chale, hum khud chaar kadam aage badhaiyenge.

Yamini- Meri bhook mar gayi hein! Main apne kamre mein ja rahi hu!

Veer- Jaisa aap thik samjhe.

(Yamini leaves the table, Tapish goes after her to calm her down.)

Misha- Bani, Veer ye sab kehne ki kya zarurat thi? Tum toh jaante ho na unhe...

Bani- Di, ye aap keh rahi hein? Unki soch mujhse ek ghante bhi bardaasht nahi huyi aur aap toh salon se isse guzar rahi hongi iss sab se...

Misha- Bani woh badi hein...

Bani- Bade hone ka matlab ye nahi hota ki hum galat ko sahi maanle Misha di. Jab tak hum galat ke khilaaf aawaz nahi uthayenge, woh samjhengi ki jo woh kar rahi hein wahi sahi hai aur baaki sab galat.

(Misha doesn't say anything.)

Misha- Main Tapish ko dekhar aati hu.

(She leaves, saying nothing further.)

(Veer also leaves for his room. After some time, Bani enters with a plate in hand.)

Bani- Veer, khana khalo.

Veer- Mujhe bhook nahi hein Bani.

Bani- Tum gusse mein ho.

Veer- Nahi.

Bani- Tum mujhe ‘Bani’ aese hi situations mein bulaate ho, jab tum ya toh pareshan hote ho ya phir gusse mein.

(She tear out a piece of paratha and tries feeding it to him.)

Veer- Toh tumhe mera sweetheart bulana kaafi pasand hein…?

Bani- Bilkul hone wale gharwale.

(Veer smiles)

Bani-Accha abb khalo.

Veer-Tumne bhi toh kuch nahi khaya...tumhari plate kahan hein?

Bani- Kyun? Hum ek thali se nahi kha sakte?

Veer-Par tumne...

Bani-Veer, mujhe jhutha khaane se dikat thi, saath mein khane se nahi. Pati ka sirf bacha hua khana khana disrespect hein, usse koi rishta wishta mazboot nahi hota hein. Haan, par yun saath khane se, ek dusre ko ek ek niwala khilane se, pyaar zarur badhta hein.

(Veer smiles and feeds her a bite. Both of them smile at each other.)

Meera and Haider reach Sangeet.
Meera goes and talks to Mr. Ahulia and his team, whereas Haider waits for her outside. She comes out after a while.

Meera- Haider, guess what? (She says sounding very excited)

Haider- Kya hua Meera? (he says cupping her face)

Meera- Aaj aapko sangeet ke liye perform karna hein!!

Haider-Aaj perform...Sangeet ke liye...matlab?

Meera- Okay so, musically-one company Sangeet ke ek singer ko ek chance dena chahti hein, dono companies ka collab announce karne ke liye.

Haider- Meera...par main itne bade project mein...?

Meera- Haider, aap apne Sangeet se jitni mohabbat karte hein, jitni shiddat se riyaaz karte hein, aapse behtar aur kon ho sakta hein?

Haider- Par Meera aap mujhe...

Meera- Haider, janti hu aapke dimaag mei kya chal raha hein. Dekhiye Haider, trust me, Sangeet ke liye koi bhi faisla main bina soche samjhe nahi leti. Aapne ye mauka kamaya hein. You deserve it. Abb convince hogaye hein ya phir mujhe ammi se aapki shikayat karni padegi?

Haider- Thik hein Meera. (he smiles)

Meera- Chaliye, mai Bani aur Veer ko batati hu, aap sham ki tayari kijiye.

(Bani was getting ready to go to the event. She was dressed in a black slit dress. The dress was very shimmery and perfect for the occasion. She indeed looked pretty.)

Misha - Wow Bani! Tum toh bohot pyaari lag rahi ho! Aaj toh Veer ki jaan hi na nikal jayegi.

Bani-Di! Aap bhi na!

(Somebody knocks on the window)

Misha-Ye window pe...

Bani- Ek min di, main dekhti hu. (She goes and opens the window. She sees the figure of a man and screams.)

Bani- Ahhh!!

Veer- Sweetheart, calm down main hu.

(Veer lifts his face to show her it’s him.)

Bani- Tum, yahan kya kar rahe ho?

Misha - Haan Veer. Aese khidki pe choro ki tarah kya kar rahe ho?

Veer- Choti dadi Tapish bhai ko pakad kar baithi hein aur meri shikayat ki class abhi just khatam huyi hein...Bohot sambhal kar aaya hu.

(Misha and Bani chuckle.)

Misha - Tum dono jao...main aur Tapish yahan sab sambhal lenge. (She smiles and leaves.)

Veer- Aaj toh mujhe laga tum meri jaan hi le logi sweetheart.

Bani- Shukar manao li nahi. (She laughs and pulls him into the room.)

(Veer enters and they both admire each other for a second. Veer was dressed in a black suit, looking extremely handsome.)

Veer- Actually sweetheart, tumne toh bina kuch kiye hi meri jaan leli.
(Bani blushes.)

Bani- Abb chale, Haider aur Meera intezaar kar rahe honge.

Veer- Haan chalo. (he starts moving towards the window.)

Bani-Hum...wahan se kyun ja rahe hein?

Veer- Kyunki agar hum darwaze se gaye, toh shayad concert ke end tak hi pohouche, so isliye...

Bani- Par main aese...gown mein..?

Veer- Main hu na sweetheart...Chill. 

(Veer jumps out of the window, standing on the roof.)

Veer- Aao sweetheart. (he extends his hand to help her out.)

Bani- Hey Shivji, mera jeevan abb aapke hi hathon mein hi hein. Yeh sab college vaale dino ke kaam ab bhi karne pad rahe hai. (she says dramatically)

Veer- Filmy...(Veer says in Bani's tone and laughs.)

Bani- Tumhe hasi aa rahi hein! Neeche utarne do mujhe, phir bataungi tumhe.

Veer- Accha abb aao bhi.

(Bani shuts her eyes and jumps out the window. As she falls from the window, Veer tries to hold her but both of them end up rolling off the roof and fall on the ground. Bani on top of Veer. Thankfully, since the height wasn’t a lot, they both stay unhurt.)

(Bani’s eyes were still closed. Veer looks at her and a smile forms on his face. She was looking really cute. She slowly opens her eyes and looks at Veer smiling and admiring her.)

Bani-Dekha...kaha tha na gir jayenge. Lagi toh nahi tumhe?

Veer-Mein thik hoon. Kaha tha na ki sambhal lunga. Agar gir bhi gaye toh tumhe kuch nahi hoga.

(Bani smiles and tries getting up but ends up falling further due to which Veer and Bani's lip collide. Both of them look at each other.)

Bani - Abb chale…?

(She says, feeling shy)

Veer- Zaruri hein?

Bani- Yahin backyard mein concert attend karne ka irada hein?

Veer- Abb tumse hein hi bepanah ishq..ki tumhari bahon mein hamesha rehena ka irada bana liya hein.

(Bani and Veer smile.)

(Haider was backstage, pacing around due to his nervousness.)

Meera- Haider...

(Haider was lost in his own world.)

Meera- Haider...(she taps on  his shoulder) Aap abhi nervous hein? Trust me Haider, you will do great!

Haider- I don't know Meera...aaj Sangeet ke liye itna important din hein, kahi main...

(Meera pecks a kiss on his lips. Haider looks at her surprised. )

Meera- Abb kam nervous feel ho raha hein? (She laughs)

Haider- Nahi, I think mujhe thodi aur help chahiye... (he says pulling her closer, by her waist.)

Meera- Haider...(She blushes) Don't worry. Aap bohot aacha karenge, aur agar aapko thodi aur motivation chahiye toh suniye...concert ke baad mere pass aapke liye ek surprise hein.

Haider- I will wait for it! (he kisses her cheek and leaves for the stage)

(Meera had realised that now was the time to move on from all the problems and deepen their bond for eternity.)

(Meera stays backstage while Veer and Bani reach there.)

Bani- Haider se zyada nervous koi aur nahi lag raha hein Veer?

(As Bani speaks, Meera comes out of her trance.)

Veer- Haan sweetheart.

Meera- Accha hua tumlog aa gaye. Performance start hone hi wali hein.

Veer - Toh tum yahan kya kar rahi ho?

Meera- Matlab?

Bani- Matlab ye ki Haider ki performance tu yahan se nahi, wahan saamne se dekhegi.

Veer- Obviously! Mere bhai ke confidence cum lucky charm ka sawal hein, risk nahi le sakte Meera... Abb jao.

(Meera leaves. She goes to her spot and stands in the front row. Haider comes on the stage and all the lights fall on him as he starts singing.)

(Haider starts singing, looking straight into Meera's eyes. He remembers the first time he had seen her, her big black eyes...her long black locks flying over his face...her plump lips that had made him forget everything around him.

(Meera looks at Haider with admiration in her eyes. She remembered how reluctant she was to love but Haider's love had healed all her scars or rather made her realize that scars can be beautiful too.

A smile forms on her face thinking about all their beautiful moments together. Their first meet, first dance, the whole Dahanu trip, and all their sweet moments were flashing in front of her eyes.

Bani agar ek haseen sapna bhi hoti toh Veer shayad zindagi bhar usse bhi jeene ko tayyar ho jata, par ab toh woh uski Haqqeqat ban chuki thi.

They interlocked their fingers and swayed with the music.

(Bani was also living in the moment with the music soothing her soul and Veer's presence soothing her heart.

Jaante hein duniya main sabse zyada aur gehra nasha sharab ka nahi, balki mohhabat ka hota hein. Ye aesa nasha hein jismein aap hosh mei hokar bhi madhosh ho jate ho.

Bani had never imagined that her life would tie-up with Veer’s. The person that she had hated at their first meet or at least she thought so. But there was always a pull between them. She wanted to hate him but she couldn't. Sometimes there is a very thin line between hate and love. Maybe this was it.

We don’t realize how all the actions in our life start relating to a single person and how one day that person becomes our life. Our everything.

(Haider was definitely overwhelmed by the response but his eyes were still fixed on one person.)

(Bheed main bhi ye nigaahein jisse dhundhe, samjh lena wohi mohabbat hein.)

(Haider gets off the stage and goes backstage. He sees Veer and Bani there.)

Veer-Mere bhai, actually nahi, hamare Rockstar! Uff! Aaj toh teri aawaz ne jaan hi leli hum sabki.

Bani- Sach mein Haider. It was beautiful!! Jab peheli baar tumhari aawaz suni thi toh usmein dard tha par aaj tumhari aawaz ki baat hi kuch aur thi!

(Haider smiles, his eyes were still searching for her.)

Veer-Kisi ko dhundh raha hein? (He teases Haider)

Haider-Woh...

Bani-(laughs) Accha Veer usse pareshan mat karo...Haider woh garden mein tumhara intezar kar rahin hein...tumhare surprise ke saath. (Bani gives him a smile)

(Haider smiles and leaves.)
