(As the celebrations end, Meera leaves for her room. Haider follows her.
She enters her room and starts removing her jewelry piece by piece. Haider enters and hugs her from the back.)

Meera- Haider...(she looks at him through the mirror and gives a smile)

(Meera continues removing her jewelries and Haider helps her in untangling her hair.)

Meera- Aap ye kya kar rahe hein Haider... Main kar lungi.

Haider- Kitni baar kahan hein Meera...Dusron ki madad kabhi kabhi le liya kijiye...Main toh phir bhi aapka aapna hu. (He winks at her through the mirror)

(Meera smiles)

Haider- Aur waise bhi bohot kismat waale hote hein jinhein apni jaan ki khidmat karne ka mauka milta hein. And lastly, mujhe aapke ye lambe baal bohot pasand hein. (He continues combing her hair while she looks at him with love.)

Meera- Accha toh ek baat bataiye, baad mein jab humari umrr ho jayegi, mere ye lambe baal jhad jayenge, chehre par jhuriyan aajaiyengi...Toh bhi kya aap mera itna khayal rakhenge?

Haider (smiling) - Meera khayal unka rakha jata hein jinse humein mohhabat ho. Aur mujhe aapke iss khubsurat dil se mohhabat huyi hein, joh waqt ke sath aur khubsurat hota ja raha hai. Toh meri mohhabat kam kaise ho sakti hein? Aur mein pakka keh sakta hu, tab bhi jab aapke baal bikhrae huye honge, toh aapka chehra utna hi haseen lagega jitna abhi lag raha hein.

(Meera smiles and keeps looking at Haider.)

Haider- Kya dekh rahi hein aap?

Meera- Yahi ki...how did I get so lucky?
(Haider also smiles and kisses her forehead)

Haider- Accha toh abb shaadi bhi puri hogayi... Abb mujhe mera tohfa milega ya nahi?

Meera- Aap kab se itne besabar ho gaye?

Haider- Aapke ishq ne besabar bana diya hai...

Meera- Uff mere shayar, abb bas bhi kijiye. (he chuckles)

(Meera then turns towards him. He was still facing Meera and the mirror behind her. Meera brushes her hair forward and he finally looks at the ''gift'.

(There was an 'H' tattooed on her back. Haider was taken aback.)

(Imagine it on her back XD)

Haider- Meera...Ye...

Meera- Mehendi ka rang waqt ke saath pheeka pad jaata hein par main nahi chahti ki meri zindagi se aapka rang kabhi bhi utre.

Haider- Aapko dard hua hoga na? (He asks her with concern)

Meera- Aap mera hissa ban chuke hein Haider, mere dil par humesha ke liye apna naam likh chuke hein toh phir ye kya hein...

Haider- Kya zarurat thi ye karne ki? (he scolds her in a concerned voice)... Aapko pata hein na ki mujhe aapko dard mein dekhna bilkul pasand nahi.

(Meera smiles. Shayad koyi aur hota toh woh dekh kar khush ho jata, ye maan leta ki aaj se uska uss par pura hak tha par Haider...Haider alag tha, usse abhi bhi Meera ki parwaah ho rahi thi. Woh Meera par koi hak nahi jamaana chahta tha bas uski zindagi ka ek hissa ban na chahta tha...)

Meera-(holding his hand in hers) Ye dard kuch bhi nahi tha Haider, asli dard, asli tanhaiyan toh yahan thi... (she says pointing towards her heart) Aur usse toh aapne mujhse kab ka dur kar diya...

(Haider slightly traces his fingers over
the tattoo on her back while Meera shivers with his touch. He then turns her and kisses her tattoo while Meera closes her eyes. Haider looks at Meera's face, which had turned a little red, and smiles.)

Haider-Arey ye kya hogaya chehre pe?

(He says suddenly, Meera opens her eyes)
Meera-Kya? (She says touching her face)

Haider- Arey yahan nak pe.

(Meera touches her nose)

Haider -Naak laal hogayi (he teases her)

Meera-Haiderrr! (she blushes)

(Haider and Meera both lay on the bed in each other embrace.)

Meera- Haider...

Haider- Hmm...Boliye...

Meera- Hum bhi bilkul aese hi dhum dhaam se shaadi karenge. Aur na shaadi ke baad...

Haider- (kissing her forehead) Matlab aapne humare baare mein socha toh zaroor tha.

Meera- Shayadd...(She laughs)

(Haider pecks a kiss on her lips. That's when Meera's phone rings again.)

Haider- Aapko subah se ye kon call kar raha hein?

Meera- Pata nahi...chodiye na....koi unknown number hein.

Haider- Ohho! Mohabbat ke liye Meera Kapoor apne kaam ko chod rahi hein!Waah! (He teases her)

(The phone rings again)

Haider- Dekh lijiye Meera...Ho sakta hein kuch zaruri kaam ho.

Meera- Accha thike.

(Meera goes to the corner of the room and attends the call.)

Meera- Hello?

(Nobody answers)

Meera- Hello...Who is it? (She asks again)

Guy- Meera...

(Meera's freezes on the spot. The voice on the other side shocks her to the core. She instantly recognizes it. It was the voice she had tried to erase from her memory. It has been 6 years of all the
trying...and there he was again. ASAD)

Asad- Meera...Aap kaisi...

(Meera instantly cuts the call. She was not ready to face him or even talk to him. She was still in shock, she didn't know why he had tried to get in touch with her now... after everything was going well between her and Haider.)

Haider- Kon tha Meera? (Haider asks, noticing her changed demeanor)

Meera- Ko...Koi nahi. (She stutters)

Haider- You sure... (he cups her face) Aap thodi pareshan lag rahi hein.

Meera-Nahi kuch nahi Haider...Woh bas thodi thakan si lag raha hein...Aaj poore din itna kuch jo kiya.

Haider- Thik hein Meera. Aap aaram kijiye. Main chalta hu. (Though he wasn't very convinced, he decided to give her some space.)

(He kisses her forehead and leaves)

(Two weeks later)

Veer and Bani told Balwant and Rakesh about each other. Both of them blessed the couple and wanted to formally announce their engagement.

Rakesh wanted to organize the engagement in the Sharma Nivas. All the preparations had begun. Veer and Balwant were attending to them all.
Bani was on top of a stool, fixing the flower decorations. Veer notices it all.

Veer- Ohoo meri jhansi ki rani! Jab itne saare log hein ye sab karne ko, toh tum wahaan kya kar rahi ho?

Bani- Tum chup raho Veer, mein chahti hoon ki aaj shaam sab kuch perfect hona chahiye.

Veer- Haan madam...Sab perfect hojayega, tum utro toh sahi.

(Bani ignores Veer and continues with her work. Veer remains standing close to the stool.)

Bani- Tum wahaan niche kya kar rahe ho? Don't worry, tv serial ki tarah mein iss stool se girne nahi wali jo tum pakadne ke liye tayyar khade ho.

Veer- Sweetheart...( he lifts her from the stool ) Tumhe tham ne ke liye mujhe tumhare girne ka wait karne ki zarurat nahi hein.

Bani- Veer kya kar rahe ho...papa yahin kahi honge.

Veer- Toh? Unhein bhi pata chalna chahiye ki unke bachon ke beech kitna pyaar hein...

Bani- Veer, neeche utaaro, I swear warna...

Rakesh- Yahaan kya chal raha hein?

Bani- Papa...

Veer- Abb aap hi samjhaiye na papa...Mein kabse samjha raha hu ki aaj madam apni uchal kud na kare... I know meri ghar waali bohot daring hai...

Bani- Par...

Rakesh- Par var kuch nahi...Veer bilkul sahi keh raha hein Bani. Tumhe nahi pata Veer ye toh bachpan se hi aesi hein.

Veer- Aisi kaisi papa?

Rakesh- Bandar hein. Idhar se udhar... Udhar se idhar... Mujhe aur apni mummy ko itna pareshan karti thi ki pucho mat!

(Veer giggles)

Bani- PAPAAA!!

Rakesh -Kya papa? Toh, it's final. Tum jaao aur aaj khud pe dhyaan do. Meera bhi aati hi hogi. Aur ye sab hum sambhal lenge.

Veer- Exactly!

Bani- Papa abhi toh shaadi bhi nahi hui aur aap meri bajaaye iski side lene lag gaye hai... (she says in a childlike manner.)

Balwant-(enters) Kisne pareshan kiya meri beti ko?

Veer- Dad...

(Rakesh and Balwant hug each other)

Balwant - Haan toh mai pooch raha tha ki meri beti ko kon pareshan kar raha hai?

(Bani points at Veer)

Balwant- Veer? Ye toh bilkul bewakoof hein. Bani baccha tum kahan iski baaton mein aa rahi ho. Tumhari engagement hein beta! Jo man aaye woh karo. (He says, placing his hand on Bani's head.)

Veer- Dad, aap meri side hein ya iski?

Balwant- Main humesha smart logon ki side leta hu. Iss case mein jo meri beti hein... Tu nahi buddhu!

Rakesh - Aese kaise mere bete ko buddhu keh diya...Bilkul sahi keh raha hein woh.

(He says, placing his hand on Veer's shoulder.)

Veer-DAD!

Bani-PAPA!

(Rakesh and Balwant laugh)

Balwant (smiling) -Accha ab tum dono jaao. Aaram karo. Phir shaam se busy ho jaaoge.

Rakesh- Haan bacchon jao. Aur ek baat suno...

(Veer and Bani turn)

Rakesh - Rishton mein kabhi sides nahi liye jaate...Bhala apni do aakhon mein hum kisi ek ko chun sakte hein kya?

(They both smile, understanding what Rakesh was trying to tell them.)

Veer and Bani leave the hall. Bani walks towards her room but Veer grabs her hand and starts to pull her another way.

Bani- Veer...kahan leke ja rahe ho?

Veer- Yahaan... (he says as they both enter the kitchen.)

Bani- Hum yahan kya kar rahe hein Veer?

Veer- Cricket khelne aaye hein sweetheart...Khelogi?

Bani- Kyaa?

Veer- Sweetheart... Tumne ye preparations karne ke alawa kuch khaya bhi hai kya? (his expression made it evident that he already knew her answer.)

Bani- Woh main...

Veer- Arre voh kaam ke chakkar mein bhool gayi thi Veer...(He says imitating her and completing her sentence.)

Bani- Veerrr!!

Veer- (laughs slightly) I know you want this evening to be a perfect sweetheart but I want my sweetheart to be perfect. Samjhi?

(Bani smiles and nods.)

Veer- Chalo ab ye batao kya khaaogi?

Bani- Tum banaoge? ( a questioning look on her face)

Veer- Mere abilities par shak kar rahi ho sweetheart? Dekh lena aesa khana banauga ki ugliyan chat ti reh jaogi tum!

Bani- Dekhte hein! (she chuckles)

Veer ties the apron and starts preparing some pancakes for her. Bani looks at him cooking and thinks about how lucky she got (Author- I mean who doesn't want a guy who cooks well)

(Veer prepares the batter and Bani tries helping him mixing it.)

Veer- Aese nahi Sweetheart...

Veer stands behind her and holds her hand. He whisks the batter rapidly.

Veer- Dheere karogi toh mixture ki consistency kharab ho jayegi. (He whispers in her ear. Bani tilts her head a little and looks at Veer. Veer continues explaining the recipe to her. Though, she was lost in admiring him.)

Veer- Toh main isse apni tareef samjhu?

Bani- Kaisi tareef?

Veer-Yehi ki tum pancakes ke bajaaye mujhme khoyi hui ho. (He giggles)

Bani-Aesa kuch nahi...(she blushes)

(Veer and Bani continue cooking. Veer rubs a little baking powder on her nose. She smiles and puts some on his cheek. Both of them continue their cute banter. Finally, the pancakes are ready...)

Veer-Taste test madam? (he says in a sophisticated style)

Bani-(smiles) Mmmmm...Veer...this is so tasty! (she says taking a bite in) Jee karta hein tumhare haath chum lu!

Veer- Haath hi kyun sweetheart...Pura tumhara hi toh hu! Kahi bhi chum lo! (he winks)

Bani- Veer...Tum bhi na! (she hits his shoulder lightly and blushes)

Veer- (takes a bite) Bani, par mujhe toh ye thoda kam meetha lag raha hein...

Bani- (she takes the fork from his hand and takes a bite) Mujhe toh accha hi lag raha hein.

Veer-(taking it back from her)Yummm... Abb aayi na ismein mithas!

(Bani blushes)

Bani- Accha chalo, main abb ja rahi hu.

Veer- Iss talented chef ka faida toh uthakar jaao.

(Bani giggles)

Veer - Accha sweetheart toh main kya keh raha tha(pulling her closer)...Ki kya main apni girlfriend ke saath ek aakhiri baar romance nahi kar sakta...

Bani- Aakhiri baar?

Veer- Haan kyunki agli mulaqat toh meri fiancee se hi hogi na!

Bani (smiles) - Intezar kariye Mr. Singhania! (She leaves and Veer smiles

In the evening Veer and Bani get ready. Meera helps Bani get ready. Bani was dressed in a silver and gold shimmery dress. It looked as if there were literally jewel-studded to her dress. She looked breathtaking.

Meera - I know I am going to sound like an old person but trust me Bani...aaj tujhe kahi meri hi nazar na lag jaaye...

Bani- Apnon ki nazar nahi lagti pagli! Aur waise bhi kehte hein badi behen maa ki tarah hoti hein. Toh thoda chalta hein.

Meera- Janti hu Bani... (she holds bani's hand) Par humesha se badi behen wale kaam toh tune hi kiye hein... Mujhe humesha se tune hi sambhala aur samjha hein.

Bani- Arre bas...Abb rulayegi kya?
(Meera and Bani laugh)

*Veer's room*

(Veer was getting ready for the ceremony. He was dressed in a light grey suit with black collars and a bow.)

Haider- Offo mere bhai! Aaj toh bhabhi flat hone wali hein.

(Veer smiles)

Haider- Waise sach mein... mujhe nahi pata tha ki mere jeete ji ye din mujhe dekhne ko milega.

Veer- Konsa din?

Haider- You settling down! (laughing)

Veer- Mujhe bhi laga tha ki tu zindagi bhar apne sangeet ke saath hi rahega...Par pyaar ne teri life main bhi entry mar hi li na!

Haider- True, true!

(Both of them laugh)

(Both Haider and Meera bring Veer and Bani outside. Both the couples lock their eyes with each other. They give each other a big, sweet smile.)

Veer/Haider- Beautiful! (They both mutter softly)

Meera- Toh lo Veer...Abb humari amaanat aapki huyi! (she says placing Bani's hand in his'. That's when Akash, Payal, Aman, and Lavanya enter.)

Aman- Offo guys, please aaj mere timing ke baare mein kuch mat kehena, I know ekdum time par pohoucha hu.

(All of them laugh)

Lavanya- Aaj toh Veer aur Bani...Ohh sorry I mean hamare VANI bilkul power couple lag rahe hein!

Akash- So true!

Meera- Arey ye kya hua Payal?

Payal- Kya di?

Meera- Ye tumhare face pe itna glow kaise? (She says teasing her)

Aman - Honeymoon ke side effects hein maam...

(All of them laugh as Payal and Akash blush.)

Soon the engagement begins. Rakesh and Balwant officially announce their alliance. Veer and Bani exchange the rings. They keep smiling at each other throughout the ceremony.)

Meera- Veer aur Bani se ek doosre ki tareef toh humne kayi baar suni hein uncle par abb aap dono bataiye inke barein mein. (Meera says to Rakesh and Balwant)

Rakesh - (taking the mic) You know the most beautiful feeling of this world is to have a daughter. Mujhe aaj bhi yaad hein kaise meri ungli pakad kar chala karti thi yeh. Iski mummy kitni baar isko bolti thi ki laao main baal bandh deti hu...Lekin isse chotiyan apne dad se hi bandhwani hoti thi. Valentine's Day ka pehela card bhi isne jaante hein kise diya tha...? Mujhe (he says smiling and his eyes tearing up) Kehne lagi ki iski friend ne kaha hein ki aaj ke din uss ladke ko card dete hein jisse hum sabse zyaada pyaar karte ho. (He laughs). Veer... tumhe main bas ek hi tip dunga, ki jab hi tumhari beti ho, toh uske saath zyaada se zyaada waqt guzarna, kyuki bachiyaan kab badi ho jati hein na....pata hi nahi chalta. (He says almost choking on his tears. Bani was also crying. She walks up to the stage and hugs Rakesh) (Meera was also a little emotional...getting reminded of her dad)

Balwant- Main humesha se hi apne business mein laga rehta tha. Veer ko humesha Chandrakala ne hi sambhala tha. Kabhi kabhi mujhe lagta hai ki paison se shayad mein apne bete ki, apni patni ki saari khawishein aur zaruratein puri kar paunga lekin... main bhul gaya ki unki peheli khwaish aur zarurat toh hamesha mein hi tha. Maine woh saare parent-teacher meetings, woh annual days aur mere bache ke birthdays tak shayad office mein bita diye... I am sorry beta, your dad failed... (he says getting emotional and looking over at Veer. Veer also teared up a little. Bani holds his hand trying to comfort him.) Agar tum nahi aati Bani beta toh shayad main apne Veer ko kho deta. Thank you, humari life... mere bete ki life mein aane ke liye... and trust me he will be the best father ever. Better than his own...

(Veer hugs him)

(Everybody claps)

Haider-Meera! Ammi aayi hein!

Meera- Ammi?? Par aapne mujhe bataya nahi?

Haider- Main kal bataane hi wala tha par aapke surprise ke chakkar mein sab kuch bhul gaya.

Meera- Par mai toh tayyar bhi nahi hu...aur ammi ko agar main pasand nahi aayi toh?

Haider (smiles) -Mujhe pasand aa gayi na...ammi ko aur bhi zyada pasand aayengi. Chaliye...

(They leave to meet Haider's mother.)

Ruqsar (Haider's mom) - Mera baccha...Kaisa hein? (She says kissing his forehead) Job kya lagi apni ammi ko bhul hi gaya!

Haider- Nahi Ammi. Aapko main bhul sakta hu bhala!! Waise ammi ye Meera...Maine aapko kaha tha na.

Meera- Hello aunty!

Ruqsar-(looking at her with a stern expression) You deserve better than this.
(Meera and Haider stand there, shocked)

Haider- Ammi...

Ruqsar- Meeraaa! You deserve better than this! Matlab tum itni khubsurat ho! Are you sure ki tumhe iss nalayak ke saath hi zindagi guzarni hein.

(Meera laughs softly)

Haider- Ammii!!

(Ruqsar also laughs)

(That's when another person enters.)

Haider- Apiii!! (Api means sister) Aap yahaan? Kya surprise hein!

Shagun- Veer ki engagement miss kar deti toh pata nahi kitna gussa karta. (She laughs) Toh maine koi introduction miss kar diya?

Ruqsar- Bilkul! Meri honewali bahu aur tumhari hone wali bhabhi ka introduction miss kar diya tumne.

Shagun- Offo Haider!

Shagun (walking towards Meera and hugging her) - I am Shagun. Haider ki cousin sister.

Meera- Hello Shagun Di... Main Meera hu...Meera Kapoor.

Shagun - Me...Meera Kapoor (she fumbles with her words, taking a few steps back.)

Haider- Kya hua api?

Shagun- Ku...Kuch Na...Nahi.

Meera- Pakka? You alright?

Shagun- Main...Veer se milkar aati hu.

Haider - Ye api ko kya hua?

Lavanya- Meera...Tumhe Bani backyard mei bula rahi hein.

Meera- Backyard mei? Abhi...Par kyun?

Lavanya- No idea

Meera- Okay...Main aati hu! (She smiles at Haider and Ruqsar and leaves.)

(Meera reaches the backyard)

Meera- Bani...Tu yahaan kya kar rahi hein? Kya hua?

Bani- Meera...Mujhe tujhse kuch baat karni hein...

Meera-Haan Bani. Bol na. Sab thik?

Bani - Meera... you know na ki main kabhi tera bura nahi chah sakti...

Meera-Haan Baba...I know. Par hua kya hein? Abb tu mujhe dara rahi hein.

Bani- Dekh Meera, main jaanti hu tu Haider ke saath bohot khush hein, par agar tujhe uske saath ek nayi zindagi shuru karni hein, toh tujhe apne past se pura nata todna hoga. Aese todna hoga ki uska khayal bhi tere dile mein na aaye...

Meera-Bani, I don't understand, what do you mean? Please seedha seedha bol.

Bani-Meera, sometimes to let go of your past completely, you have to face it again.

Meera-Par Bani...

(Meera stops mid-way as she sees a figure approaching from behind Bani. She couldn't believe it. She was madly in love with Haider... for sure... but still facing him was enough to refresh all the pain she had gone through. It was him again. Asad. )

Meera-Bani... ye kya hein!??

Bani- Meera please, ek baar meri baat sun. Woh bas ek aakhiri baar tujhse kuch kehna chahta hein.

(Meera looks at Asad. He was looking at Meera and the pain was evident in his eyes. He was still as a statue. It felt like he had seen something he always wished for...something which was his heaven. Meera was dumbstruck.)

Bani- Dekh Meera, main jaanti hu tu kitna bhi chupale... tu aaj bhi kahi na kahi janna chahti hein ki Asad ne tere saath woh kyun kiya. Ek aakhiri baar meri khatir usse mil le, aur meri bhi nahi toh Haider aur apne future ki khatir. Please...

(Bani leaves. Meera had still not spoken a single word.)

Asad- Meera...

Meera- Kyun aaye hein aap wapis Mr. Khan?

Asad- Meera...Aap kaisi hein? (He says in a tender voice.)

Meera-(she says trying to get a grip over her emotions) Mr. Khan mujhe nahi lagta aap yahaan mera haal puchne aaye hein. Can you please get to the point?

(Asad was hurt. He could clearly see Meera's pain and anger. The Meera whose eyes were always filled with love for him was loathing him at the moment.)

Asad- Ek baar meri baat suniye Meera...

Meera- Kehne sunne ko kuch bacha hein kya Mr. Khan!? Kahiye!
(she holds his collar) Kya kehana chahte hein, ki kaise aapki mohhabat jhuthi thi! Aapki har ek baat jhuthi thi! Aapka pura wajood jhutha tha ya phir kaise aapne mujhe dhokha diya! Uss Nivedita ke saath... (She almost chokes at the end.)

Asad- Maine aapko dhoka nahi diya Meera. (He yells, his eyes filled with tears.)

Meera- You know what! Mujhe aapse koi baat hi nahi karni hein. I have moved on, I have somebody who loves me immensely!

(Meera starts leaving)

Asad- Itna bharosa hein uss par?

Meera- Kis par?

Asad- Haider par.

Meera- Aap Haider ko kaise jante hein?

Asad- That's not the point Meera. Answer my question, kitna bharosa karti hein aap us par?

Meera- Khud se bhi zyada.

Asad- Kya usne kabhi aapko apni family ke baare mein bataya hein?

Meera- Bilkul...Main unki ammi se aur api se mil chuki hu.

Asad- Aur uski choti behen se?

Meera- Choti behen?

Asad- Toh usne aapko uski choti behen ke baare mein aaj tak nahi bataya?

Meera- I don't know what games you are playing Asad, par I am telling you, it's better we part ways.

Asad- Bohot aasan hein na aapke liye ye kehna (he says with pain in his eyes) Sach saamne aa hi jata hein Meera...Aap saach pata kijiye. Aur jab pata chal jayaae toh mujhe milne aa jaiyga. (He hands her his card and leaves)

Meera- Ye Asad kya keh rahe the...
(She moves inside still confused.)

Ruqsar- Beta tum aagayi. Aao baitho, mujhe tumse dher saari batein karna hein!

(Meera smiles, trying to forget what had just happened.)

Ruqsar - Toh beta, kon kon hein tumhari family mein?

Meera- Main, Bani aur Rakesh uncle hi hein aunty. Mom dad ki car accident mein death hogayi...aur uske baad inhone hi mujhe sambhala aur meri dekh bhaal ki.

Ruqsar- Arey bacha... abb dukhi mat ho...Kyunki aaj se tumhare paas bhi ek ammi hein. Tumhara dard samajh sakti hu... Haider ke abu ke intekal (death) ke baad sab kuch bohot mushkil sa lagta tha, par dekho waqt ke saath sab thik hogaya.

Meera- Haider ki choti behen nahi aayi? (She says involuntarily. Asad's words were still echoing in her mind somewhere, though her heart wasn't willing to accept them.)

Ruqsar- Cho...Choti behen...beta woh jahan bhi hogi khush hogi... (She says stuttering)

Meera- Matlab...?

Ruqsar-Beta hum iske baare mein baad mein baat karenge. Tum bhi kahan ye sab batein le kar baith gayi...Tum yahan ruko main aati hu.

(That's when Ruqsar's phone rings. Ruqsar had forgotten it there. Meera picks it up but the call disconnects by then and she sees Ruqsar's lock screen picture. She is shocked. She felt like her whole world had stopped.)
