Haider and his team go on stage. The lights are focused on Haider and he starts singing.

Meera closes her eyes and lets herself groove to the sound of his voice...

Uski aawaz mein ek dard tha. Ek tanhai thi. Jo sidha Meera ke dil ko chot bhi pohoucha rahi thi aur marham bhi laga rahi thi. Haider ke hothon se nikle ek ek lafz mano uske dil ke saath khel rahe the. Meera ne khud ko salaon se khamosh kar liya tha par uski khamoshi andar hi andar shor macha rahi thi. Aaj woh tanhaiyan jo Meera ke andar jagah bana chuki thi, maano koi usse chu raha hein. Meera ki aakhein nam hogayi. Abb isse zyada dard woh bardaasht nahi kar sakti thi.

She goes to the bar and orders 5 rounds of vodka. After moving away from the stage she still couldn't ignore his soulful voice which was continuously piercing her heart and soul.

Haider ki aawaz thi hi aesi... Kisi ke bhi dil ko chu jaane vaali. Aur ye dard ka ehsaas Bani ke dil ko bhi takleef de raha tha. Bani ko samjh nahi aa raha tha ki woh Veer se kaise mafi mange. Itna sab bolne ke baad...kya voh kabhi usse maaf karega...Dusri taraf Veer nashe mein dhuth apne ghamo ko kam karne ki koshish kar raha tha. Par Haider ki aawaz sunkar uski aakhon mein bhi aasun aa gaye.

Apne sangeet ke sahare, Haider ne apne dard ko... Apni tanhai ko ek saahara de diya tha. Ek pehchan de di thi. Aur aaj gaate gaate, woh apni zindagi ke saare ghamon ko yaad kar raha tha. Aur ek aasun uski aakhon se bhi gir gaya.

As Haider's song came to an end, it left everybody stunned and speechless. Everybody in the audience had goosebumps just from his voice. There was a feeling of pain in the air around them. That day, a part of his pain was felt by everyone present there. Then people started clapping one by one and soon there was an echo of just the applause.

Haider exits the stage. Wiping his tears away, he regains his composure.

Haider(in mind) - Ye Veer kahan chala gaya... Aaj dikh hi nahi raha.

(That's when he spots Meera losing her balance and runs toward her just in time to keep her from falling. He holds her in his arms)

Haider- Meera aap thik hein?

Meera - Nahi (and she starts laughing)

Haider- Meera aapne pi rakhi hein...

Meera- Haan...shayad thodi si...ya bohot saari...pata nahi.(she continues laughing)

Haider - Accha woh sab chodiye. Aap chaliye yahaan se.

Meera- Kyunn?? Abhi toh shuru hui hai na party. Aur aap hein kon??

Haider- Meera main Haider. New intern...

Meera - Haider (She holds her head and starts thinking)

Meera - Ohh! Mr. Handsome Haider. Matlab kya khoob hai aap! Waah!! ( she kisses the tips of her fingers and jerks her hand out)

(Haider starts blushing but tries to control it in front of Meera)

Haider - Aap...aap chaliye. Kahin aur...Kahin aur baat karte hain.

(Haider takes Meera to a nearby room)

Haider- Aap yaha baithiye. Tab tak main Bani maam ko bulakar lata hu.

(That's when Meera holds his hand. Pulls him back. She puts her hands gently across his neck)

Meera- Kya aapko kisi ne bola hein ki aapki aakhein bohot khubsurat hein. Matlab itni ki...ki...ki, uff mein bhool hi gayi bolna kya tha. (Meera starts laughing)

(Haider is taken aback by Meera's move but cracks a smile as he hears her laughing)

Meera- Jaante hein usse bhi khubsurat kya hein. Aapki ye smile. Aisi smile ke saath kisko maarna chahte hain aap! huh?? boliyeeee!! Agar mujhe tohh...voh toh already ho chuka hai. (she makes her hands into a gun and points it to her forehead.)

Meera- Poof!! ( she makes the sound of a gunshot from her mouth. Imitating the expressions of a dead person, she shuts her eyes and slips her tongue out of the corner of her mouth, tilting her head sideways she tries to look dead)

Haider- Meera aap...aap hosh mein nahi hein. Abhi aaram kijiye please.

Meera - Lekin pata hai kya...(Meera continues paying no attention to what Haider said)

Meera- Aap iss smile ke piche jo dard chupate hein... Jo tanhai chupate hein... woh... woh sab mujhe dikhta hein Haider. Aapki aakhon ki tanhaiyan. Aapki aawaz ke piche ka dard. Sab dikhta hein. Mujhe dikhta hai.

(Haider was shocked. He could not comprehend what she had just said. Jo dard woh sabse chupa raha tha... Door rakh raha tha... Meera ne kuch hi dino mein pehchan liya. Usse jaan liya.)

(Meera takes a step back and both of them fall on the bed. With Haider on top of Meera. Haider was once again mesmerized by the beauty in front of him. A strand of hair was on Meera's face, that's when Haider tugs it behind her ear. He realizes their proximity. He knew that if he stayed their even a bit longer something would happen. Something which neither he could control nor her.)

Haider- Meera.... mein...mein chalta hu. Aap rest kijiye. Kal baat karte hain.

Meera - Kya aap bhi mujhe chod kar chale jayenge... (Meera holds her face in her hands and starts crying). Hum jinse pyaar karte hein woh humesha humme chod kar kyun chale jate hein...woh bhi chala gaya... ab aap bhi...

(Haider stops in his way, he knew Meera's pain. He felt it too...understood it. After all, he had also lost someone very dear to him. That's when he realized, the strict, ruthless person that Meera Kapoor was for the world...deep inside was just Meera who had a broken soul...one that was just like his own)

Meera (continues speaking) - Maa papa ne promise kiya tha ki woh apni princess ke saath humesha rahenge... par unhone mujhe chod diya. Apna vada tod diya unhone. Usne bhi kahan thi ki woh humesha mere saath rahega. Kabhi nahi jaayega... par usne toh mere dil ke saath saath mere pure wajood ko tod diya. Kya aap bhi mujhe chod denge Haider? (she cries)

Haider - Nahi Meera... Main kabhi tumhe chod kar nahi jaunga. Kabhi nahi. (Wiping her tears) Ab rona band kijiye.

Meera- Wada?

Haider (smiles) - Wada.

(Meera holds Haider's face, her hand on his cheek...pulling him closer to her. Haider was just looking into her eyes. Their lips were inches apart. Both of them close their eyes. That's when Meera passes out...in his arms. Haider comes back to his senses)

Haider- Ye main kya karne jaa raha tha. Meera toh apne hosh tak main nahi hai. Mujhe kya ho raha hein.

(Haider places Meera's head on the pillow and tucks the blanket around her. He steps back but still keeps looking at her)

Haider(in mind) - Main nahi janta ki mujhe ye kya mehsus ho raha hein Meera. Mein bas itna jaanta hu ki mera dil tumhari inn tanhaiyon ko tumse bohot door karna chahta hein. Itna door ki yeh tumhare zehen se bhi poori tarah mit jaaye...

Bani goes around the place looking for Veer. But she isn't able to find him anywhere. She regretted each and every word she had told him. She was starting to get worried when she spotted Chandani.

Bani- Chandani, tumne Veer ko...I mean Mr. Singhania ko kahi dekha hein?

Chandani-Bani maam i think maine V ko apne room ki taraf jaate huye dekha tha. Par kya hua maam.. Aap itni pareshan kyun lag rahi hein? All okay?

Bani- Kuch nahi Chandani and thanks a lot.

(The door was open and Bani entered Veer's room. What she saw was enough to shatter her heart into pieces. Veer was a complete mess. Two broken beer bottles were lying on the floor, and Veer was still drinking)

Bani - Veer...

(Veer looked up from the floor and saw her.)

Veer(in his mind)- She looks so beautiful.

Veer- Tum...t..tum yahan kya kar rahi ho?

Bani- Tumne apna ye kya haal banaya hua hai Veer.

Veer- Huh! (he scoffs)

Tumhe kyun itni fikar ho rahi hein Bani Sharma. Mujh jaise ghatiya insaan ki... jo aaj kisi aur ke sath hein... Kal kisi aur ke... Parson kisi aur ke(he starts laughing but his eyes are filled with tears)

Bani - Veer... I am sorry. I am very very sorry. (She walks towards him trying to pick him up from the ground) Please utho. Sambhalo khud ko.

Veer- (Veer raises his hand and stops her from holding his hand) main khud ko sambhal sakta hu.

Bani - Veer please ek baar meri baat sunlo. Mai tumhe hurt nahi karna chahati thi par tumhe chandani ke saath dekhar... Uske saath dekhkar(Bani's eyes fill up with tears) mujhe laga ki main jo tumhare liye feel karti hoon...jitne special tum mere liye ho. Shayad utni ehmiyat main tumhare zindagi main nahi rakhti.

(Veer steps closer to her, glaring into her eyes)

Veer - Tumne soch bhi kaise liya Bani Sharma ki tum mere liye important nahi ho. Mein har pal sirf tumhare bare mein sochta rehta hu. Har kadam, bas tumhare nazdeek aane ke liye uthata hu. Aur tumhe laga ki tum mere liye important nahi ho. Itna hi bharosa hein
kya tumhe mujhpar.

(Bani moved closer to him, trying to place her hand on his cheek. Veer swings her backwards)

Veer- Kyun Bani kyu? Tum kyun mujh par bharosa nahi karti. (He moves towards the crook of her neck and starts kissing her)

Bani- Veer tum abhi hosh mein nahi ho...(even if her brain didn't want all this to happen so quick between them...a part of her heart still wanted him...all of him)

Veer- Maine toh apne hosh ussi din kho diye the jis din maine pehli baar tumhe dekha tha. Tumhari inn aakhon ko( He kisses her temples) Tumhari iss gusse bhari naak ko (He kisses her nose) aur tumhare...

(He touches her lips with his thumb and moves towards her lips. Bani closes her eyes. Veer passes out on her shoulder)

(Bani lies him down on the bed and covers him with a blanket)

Bani(holding his hand)- I am sorry Veer. Maine jaane anjaane mein tumhe bohot hurt kara hai. Par main tumhe abb apne se door kabhi nahi hone dungi.

( She drops a kiss on his head and leaves)
