Hello dear readers!

I wanted to talk about a few things. Guys, it takes a lot of efforts to write each of these chapters. I try giving my best to you guys and never compromise with the quality of the chapters. The problem is I see a lot of reads but the votes hardly reach 20. And frankly, that kinda upsets me. It's my request that you guys vote and if possible comment as well on the chapters. A normal heart as a comment can also mean a lot. And your one vote can seriously make my day!

Also, a few readers have asked me if I write the shayaris on my own. So, the answer is yes. I really hope you enjoy the coming chapters.

(Everybody gathers around the bonfire arranged. Bani sits beside Sid opposite Veer.)

Lavanya- So Siddhant...

Siddhant-Oh please, you guys can call me Sid.

Lavanya-Okay...so, Sid, where do you work?

Siddhant-I am a doctor by profession. I work at the Sanjivani Hospital.

Meera- Kya baat hein!!

Bani-Pakka na? Matlab jiss Sid ko main janti thi woh toh kitabon se hamesha dur bhaga karta tha.

Sid-(chuckles) People change with time I guess..

Lavanya-Toh Sid, tumhari life mein koi...?

Sid - Nahi.

Lavanya- Aise kaise? Itne handsome bande ki life mein koi toh hogi hi.

Aman(in mind) - Handsome!?

Aman- Ahem...Ahem. (Aman looks at Lavanya)

Sid- Thi koi...pehle.

Lavanya-Thi?

Sid- Haan...phir usne iss naachiz ka dil tod diya (he says, patting his heart. Shaking his head)

(This catches Veer's attention and Bani smiles awkwardly.)

Veer(in mind) - Agar ye aese hi bolta raha toh kahi iski hadiyan bhi na tut jaye.

Meera- Come on Sid! You are such a sweetheart. Dekh lena tumhare liye koi bohot special ladki bani hogi.

Haider (in mind) -Sweetheart!!

Akash- (looking at all the guys and their expressions, muttering softly) Payal, agar tum apne cousin ki salaamati chahti ho toh jaldi se kuch karo.

Payal (thinking) -Accha ruko... sochne do.

Payal - Guys! Why don't we play something?

Aman- That's a great idea Payal!! Par hum khelenge kya?

Lavanya - Truth or dare?

Akash- Fine. Let's do it.

Meera- I'll spin the bottle!

(Meera spins the bottle. It's mouth lands on Haider and the other side on Akash. Akash gets to ask him first.)

Akash - Okay so Haider, truth or dare?

Haider- Truth.

Akash-Okay sooo... tell us about your first kiss!

Haider- Fir...first kiss?

Akash - Haan wohi!

(Haider looks at Meera shyly, thinking about their kiss in Dahanu. Yes, that was his first kiss. Meera's heart skips a beat as she sees Haider looking shyly at her.

The fact that she was his first kiss, made her heart flutter.

Haider- Meri first kiss thi...Mee...

Veer- Khushi!!!

Meera- Kya!?

(Everybody looks at Meera, Bani smiles, trying to control herself from laughing out.)

Meera- I mean... Oh! I see...

Haider- Veer...tu kya bol raha hein?! (he says with an annoyed undertone)

Veer- Bilkul! Tu bhul gaya kya? Mujhe toh abhi tak yaad hein! Tu kitna sharmaa raha tha! Ek hafte tak shayad nahaya bhi nahi tha na?!

Meera(in mind) - Kyaaa!

Haider- Kuch bhi bol raha hein matlab. Khushi just kissed me on the cheek. Bas. (He says, as if trying to justify himself to Meera. )

Veer- Aur tu gaal pakkad ke poore din ghoom bhi toh raha tha! I still remember tu kitni shaairiyaan sunaaya karta tha! Aur uske liye bhi toh kitni saari likhi thi tu ne!

(Author-Aaj Veer Haider ko marwane wala hai. XD)

Haider- Veer!!

Veer - Aur tujhe woh tum dono ka farewell wala performance yaad hein?! Wait, I think mere paas uski abhi bhi picture hein.

(Veer looks through his phone and finds the picture. He shows it around. It was a picture of both Khushi and Haider smiling. Meera wasn't particularly pleased to see it.)

Haider- Woh meri college friend thi. Thode time hum saath mei the...par phir main apne music mein lag gaya. Uss ke baad kuch khaas milna hua nahi.

Veer- Aur bichaare dono apne pyaar ko naam hi nahi de paye...

Haider(in mind) - Aaj toh tu gaya Veer beta!

Meera- Really Haider? (She says forcing a smile, though her gaze was murderous. XD)

Haider- No Meera...in fact, ruko...ek picture main bhi dikhata hu.

(He shows her a picture of Khushi with another man next to her.)

Meera- Ye kon hein?

Haider- Jai Mathur... Khushi ka husband.

Meera-(muttering under her breath) Thank god...

Bani- Kuch kaha Meera? (teasing her)
Meera- Yeah...I mean they look perfect with each other.
Veer- Kon? Ye aur dhabewala??
Everybody (in unison) - Dhabewala??!
(All of them start laugh)
Haider- Veer woh restaurant ka owner hein, dhabewala nahi.
Veer- Haan wohi...matlab Dhabewala.
Haider- Waise Veer... tu apne aur Mayuri ke baarein mein nahi batayega?
Veer- Mayur...Mayuri kon Mayuri?
Haider- Teri Mayuri! Bhool bhi gaya college ke din!! Ek photo toh shayad mere pass bhi hein.

(Bani looks at Veer)

Veer- Ahem...Acha toh ab next turn kiska hein? (Author - Bachne ki koshish I see.)

Haider- Arey nahi! Aise kaise!

Aman- (whispering to Lavanya) Mujhe aesa kyun lag raha hein jaise ki aaj ye dono marne wale hein...

(Lavanya laughs. Haider and Veer continue bantering. That's when Meera suddenly says something)

Meera- Haider...

Haider- Ji?

Meera- Aapne kabhi mere liye kuch nahi likha...

(she says in a cute, childlike manner. Though, Haider could clearly look through it. He could tell that she was a little jealous, but all that just made her look even cuter.)

Bani- Haan haan Haider! Aaj toh hamari Meera ke liye tumhe kuch suna na hi padega.

Veer- Come on bhai! (he says, teasing him)

Meera- It's alright Haider...you... Don't really have to...

Haider-

Jisse resham dete dete uss pannag ne apni jaan dedi,
Aaj ussi shaks ne uske roop par karwayi chalai hein.
Jiske baare mein hamara har ek alfaaz hein
Aaj usi ke haathon mein sare mehfil, humari ruswayi ki kalai hein.

(The very person I write for has questioned my intentions today...
It's as if the very individual the silk is made for is now questioning the worm's way of it all...)

Aman- Waah bhai! That was beautiful!
Payal- Sach much Haider, aapne toh dil jeet liya!

(Meera is still lost in him, she couldn't express what she felt in words. It was plain happiness.)

Meera- Pata hai kya...agar aap mujhe na bhi milte na Haider, toh bhi mujhe puri zindagi bas aapka intezar rehta...

(Haider smiles at Meera.)

Akash- Ahem! Ahem! (He fake coughs to get their attention.)

Lavanya - Toh chalo abb next...

(The bottle's mouth lands on Siddhant and the other side on Aman. So, Aman gets to ask first)

Aman - Okay Siddhant... So, tell us more about the girl you were talking about earlier.

(Bani and Veer choke on their drinks. Meera and Haider look at each other, smiling playfully.)

Siddhant -Abb main kya bolu...woh thi hi itni acchi. Meri best friend thi woh. Sabka khyaal rakhti thi, humesha uske chehre par smile rehti thi. Aese toh bohot sweet thi par jab baat uske apno par aati thi toh she could be a complete badass.

(Author- Ye kiski baat kar raha hein any idea)

(Veer felt extremely jealous with Siddhant's each word.)

Siddhant - Aur uski smile...

Veer- Puri kahani sunane ko nahi kaha hein.

(Author - Oops)

Bani- Veer...

(Veer rolls his eyes.)

Veer(in mind) - Toh abb tum iski side bhi logi.

Haider (clearly noticing the tension all around)- Accha chalo abb I will spin the bottle.

(The bottle lands mouth lands Veer and the other side on Meera.)

Meera- So, Veer Truth Or dare?

Aman - Come on Veer choose Dare! Warna aaj sab bas truth hi le rahe hein.

Veer- Accha thik hein toh phir...dare.

Meera - Okay Veer so your dare is... Yahan baithi sabse khubsurat ladki ke saamne jaakar tumhe usse apni dil ki baat keheni hogi.

(Veer instantly looks over at Bani.)

Lavanya - Come on Veer! Jaldi!

Veer(stepping towards Bani with each line) -

Uske hathon mein kisi ka haath dekh ye dil jalta hein.
Uski muskurahat ki wajah mein na banu toh ye dil jalta hein.
Usse hamare saath hone par na ho bharosa toh ye dil jalta hein.
Uske bina har ek lamha bilkul bejaan sa lagta hein.

(My heart burns everytime she holds a hand that isn't mine...
My heart burns everytime she smiles but the reason isn't me...
My heart burns everytime she doesn't believe that we met each other for a reason
My heart stops everytime she isn't close to me.)

(Bani keeps looking at Veer. She completely understood all that he meant. He was jealous of Siddhant and even hurt due to everything that happened with him and Bani.)

(Haider had seen Veer like this after a long time. That's the moment he was convinced that his best friend had found his soulmate. Before anybody could react to what Veer hai said, Bani says...)

Bani-

Uski aakhon ki woh chamak dekh ye dil hamara machalta hein...
Unki bahon mein hi ye dil hamara dhadakta hein.
Unhe taqleef mein dekh kar dil toh hamara bhi nahi sambhalta hein...
Har lamha hamara dil bas unhe khone se darta hein.

(The shine in his eyes make my heart flutter...
His arms make my heart beat...
His pain makes my heart hurt...
The thought of losing him is what my heart fears every moment.)

(Veer was numb. He was just stunned by how beautifully Bani had expressed it all, just in words. She apologized for what she did and expressed how she was afraid to lose him.)

Veer- Bani...

Bani-(a tear rolls down her eyes) Guys, tum log khelo main aati hu...

Sid - Par hua kya Bani...

Bani - Kuch nahi yaar... Main aati hu...
(Bani leaves)

Veer- Main bhi ek minute main aata hu...uou guys continue.

(Veer leaves behind)

Akash- Game continue kare?

Siddhant - Haan continue...

(Siddhant spins the bottle. It's mouth lands on Meera and the other side on Payal.)

Payal - So Meera di, truth ya dare?

Meera- Tru...

Haider- Obviously truth hi lengi, dare inse kahaan hoga. (He says teasing her)

Meera-Excuse me? Main dare hi lungi... Do payal.

Payal(chuckles) - Thik hein Meera di...toh aapka dare ye hein...ki aapko sabke samne Haider ko unhi ki shaairiyon waale andaaz mein propose karna hoga.

Meera-Main...

Lavanya - Come on Meera, you can do it! Dikha de inko!

Haider - Aapse na hobe Meera. (He teases her)

Meera-Dekhte hein!

Siddhant- (gets a call) Excuse me guys.

Aman- Veer sir kahan reh gaye...?

Akash- Bas ab iss baar tu mat jana...woh jahaan bhi gaye ho.

(Everybody laughs)

Haider- Main dekh kar aata hu...tu rehene de Aman.

As Haider starts leaving...

Meera-

Tere Sangeet ki alfaaz main ban na chahti hu...

(Haider stops and turns around.)

Tere dhun ki sargam main ban na chahti hu.
Tere muskurane ki ek wajah main ban na chahti hu...
Teri likhawat se sajah ek panna main ban na chahti hu.

(Meera walks closer and cups his face, while the others adore them.)

Teri sadgi hi mujhe lubhati hein aur teri dhun bhare alfaaz iss dil ko chu jaati hai.

Main aapse beintehaa mohhabat karti hu Haider aur aapke bina aapki Meera adhuri hein.

Haider-(cupping her face as well) I love you!

(Payal gestured all of them to leave for some privacy)

Haider- Main aapse itni mohhabat karta hu ki shayad ye alfaaz bhi kam pad jaye.

(Meera smiles and both of them share a sweet kiss filled with love.)

(Veer follows Bani into her room.)

Veer- Bani...

Bani-Veer... Tum yahaan...

Veer- Mujhe tumse baat karni hein...

Bani- I think humme baad mein baat karni chahiye Veer...

(She says, trying to walk past him to enter the room.)

Veer- Sweetheart please...

(Sweetheart...the mere word was enough to calm her down and to make her heart flutter.)

(Bani turns)

Veer-(moving towards her)

Bohot kosh...koshish ki, ki main tumse dur rahu...koshish ki, ki main ek pal ke liye bhi tumhare bare mein na sochu par meri ek bhi koshish kaamyaab nahi ho pai. Janti ho kyun?

(He cups her face)Kyunki tumhe dekh kar meri saasein chalti hein... Tum muskurati ho toh ye dil dhadakta hein... Aur jab tum dur jaati ho toh lagta hein ki ye poori duniya tham gayi.

Bani(in tears) - I am sorry Veer. (Cupping his face) Janti hu maine tumhe bohot chot pohouchai hein...Mujhe ladna chahiye tha hamare pyaar ke liye par mai...Da...darr gayi thi...

(A tear falls from her eyes.)

Veer-(wiping her tear with his thumb) Abb aur nahi Bani...

Bani-Nahi Veer mujhe bolne do please. Tum nahi jaante tumhare bina main kaise rahi hu... Tum se baatein kiye bina...tumse woh pyaar bhare jhagde kiye bina...tumhare muh se sweetheart sunne bina (she laughs a little.)
I love you Veer!

Veer- I love you Sweetheart.

Bani- Tumne mujhe maaf kar diya na...?

Veer- Do pyaar karne waale ek doosre se rooth sakte hein par bichad nahi sakte.

(Bani smiles at Veer and both of them melt into each other's embrace. Veer kisses Bani's forehead.)

Next Morning

(Veer got up and saw the hustle bustle in the house. Everybody were preparing for the Haldi rasam.

As soon as he got up he thought about how the last night turned out to be. His first thought was of his love.. His sweetheart .. His bani... And he decided to meet her.

He got changed and came to the hall. His eyes fell on Bani who was dressed in a yellow saree looking drop dead gorgeous. )

He looks at her and places his hand on his heart.... Showing how flattered he was.

Bani blushes.

Akash - Good morning Veer sir.

Veer - Good morning!

Haider- Main koi khwaab dekh raha hu kya?

Veer- Shuru hogaya ye

Haider - Veer! Jaga hua! Woh bhi itni subaah subaah.

Veer - Raat bhar khyaalon mein yun dooba hua tha ki so hi nahi paya.

(Bani blushes)

Aman - Kiske khyaalon mein sir?

Veer- Uske. .

Haider (in mind) - Meera ka plan matlab kaam kar hi gaya (he chuckles internally)

Aman - Uske kiske?

Veer(still looking at Bani and smiling) - Tu bare sawal karne laga hein . Waise I heard ki kal raat mai ne ek live proposal dekhna miss kar diya.

Haider-(smiling) Veerr

(Everybody smiles)

Veer- Toh humari bhabhi hein kahan?

Payal - Woh mere liye Organic mehendi lene gayi hein kyunki mujhe bakiyon se allergy hein.

Lavanya - Lagta hein kisiko intezaar karna padega (she says teasing Haider)
Bani- Accha tum log batein karo main haldi lekar aati hu .

Lavanya - Ruk bani main bhi chalti hu.

Veer- Nahi!

Lavanya- Huh?

Veer- Matlab tum yaahan ruko Aman ke sath.. Mai help kar deta hu.

Lavanya- Pakka?

(She says teasingly,clearly getting the hint that veer wanted to spend some alone time with bani)

Veer- Haan Haan pakka.. Abb chalo Bani.
Bani smiles

They reach the room where the haldi was kept.

Bani- Veer.. Tum bhi na.. Sab kya soch rahe honge.

Veer(hugging her from back) - Yahi ki main apni Sweetheart ke bina ek minute bhi nahi reh sakta.

Bani- Tum sach mein pagal ho.

Veer- Tumhare pyar mein.

Bani- Main bhi (she says with sincerity in her eyes)

Veer- Kya baat hein aaj no comeback.

Bani- Jab tumse dur thi na Veer.. Tab maine tumhare baton ko.. Humare inn pyare se jhagdo ko bohot miss kiya..

Veer-(giving her a smile) I missed you too Sweetheart. (He kisses her on her forehead. )

Bani(taking the haldi from the table) - Toh phir chalein.. Mujhe Sid se bhi milne jana hein.

Veer- Sid (he scoffs)

Bani- Usse jalne ki zarurat nahi hein..

Veer - Jalne ki zarurat aur woh bhi mujhe(he says pointing a finger towards himself)

Bani- Tumhe hi! Dekha tha maine kal kaise ghur rahe the usse.

Veer- Matlab tum uske sath bhale thi par dil mein phir bhi main tha.

Bani- (blushes) Kahan ki baat kahan le ke jate ho tum bhi..

(She tries leaving but Veer holds her hand and pulls her closer)

Veer- Bolo (he says moving closer to her lips)

Bani- Bol du?

Veer- Hmm.. (Still looking at her)

Bani- Pakka ?

Veer nods. Both of them were just inches apart.Thats when bani puts haldi on Veer's cheek and tries running away.

Bani-hahaha.. Sun liya

Veer-(holding her) Itni jaldi bhi kya hein Sweetheart!

Bani- Veer humein jana chahiye.. Sab wait kar rahe honge.

Veer - Toh karne do..

(He moves closer to her and puts haldi on her cheeks through his cheek. Bani's heartbeat increases as soon as their skin touch. )

Bani-Veerr..

(Veer doesn't stop. He further takes haldi from the bowl and puts it on her hands . He moves towards the crook of her neck and kisses her.

He turns Bani around. Bani was still looking downwards feeling very shy. )

Veer- Look at me sweetheart.

(Bani looks at him. )

(Veer then takes the haldi and puts it on her waist while pulling her closer to him. Bani breathes rapidly, her gaze still at Veer.

Veer then moves forward to kiss her when somebody knocks on the door. )

Lavanya- BANI!

(Bani pushes Veer.)

Bani- Tum chup jao

Veer- Main kahan chup jau

Bani-Bathroom mein abhi..
Ghusso...warna pata nahi woh kya sochegi..(She pushes him in the washroom and opens the door for lavanya)

Lavanya- Hey Bani! Itna time kyun lag gaya.. Payal wait kar rahi hein.

Bani- I am so sorry.. Woh

Lavanya- And ek minute tum par haldi kaise lagi huyi hein ?

Bani- Woh.. (Bathroom se kuch girne ki aawaz aati hein)

Lavanya- Ye aawaz kaisi?

Bani- Woh lavanya actually mein aur veer aa hi rahe the.. Ki galati se hum par thodi haldi gir gayi.. Woh apne room gaya hein change karne..

Lavanya- Par andar.. (She peeks inside)

Bani-(covering her view) Andar kuch nahi hein lavanya.. Tum ek kaam karo.. Ye lo haldi le kar jao.. Mein change karke aati hu.

Lavanya- Okay bani.. Waise ye yellow colour toh samjh aaya ki haldi ka hein par ye tumhare gal laal kyu hein ?

Bani- woh...

Lavanya (chuckles) - Aaram se change karke aa jao (says in a teasing manner)
(Bani goes inside and sees Veer standing in the washroom.)

Bani- Tum bhi na veer.. Aawaz karna zaruri tha.. Usse pata chal gaya..

Veer- Toh chal jane do.. You know pyar kiya toh darna kya?

Bani-Tum aur tumhare filmy batein

(she tries leaving but slips in the water, veer tries holding her waist from one hand while his other hand goes on the knob of the shower and it opens, soaking both Veer and Bani in it.)

(Veer and bani keep looking at each other, while the water keeps falling on them. Veer tucks the locks falling on her face behind her ear.He slowly traces his fingers on her cheeks and then on her lips. Bani's grip tightens on his shirt. She keeps looking at him with anticipation. Veer then kisses Bani passionately. This kiss was bridging all the gaps which occured in their relationship in past few days. Both of them were lost in each other. )

In evening

(Haider had not seen Meera since morning. After there confession last night, he was desperate to see her, to touch her and to embrace her. All of them were sitting and having food. )

Veer- Ye tu kya kar raha hein Haider.

Haider- Bread pe butter laga raha hu.

Veer- You sure about that?

(Haider realises that he was putting butter on a napkin. Everybody laughs)

Akash- Lagta hein kisika badi besabri se intezaar ho raha hein.

Haider- Nothing like that

(Author- Yeah sure we believe you Haider XD)

Payal- Waise Meera di ko thoda late hogaya.. Kyunki mehndi lene ke baad woh kuch shopping karne chali gayi

Bani- Shopping aur meera? Ye combination kuch baitha nahi.

Haider-(in mind) Pure din mere bina rahi.. Mere sath hi chalti.

Aman- Lo aa gayi Meera mam.

(Meera enters wearing a yellow lehenga, looking absolutely mesmerizing and Haider was awestruck by her mere sight)

Haider- Wow..

Lavanya- Kuch kaha Haider..(she teases him)

Meera - Hii guys! Ye rahi mehndi! And sorry late hone ke liye kuch kaam aa gaya tha.

Bani- Lekin kya?

Meera- Tum sab ke liye meri taraf se gifts.

Bani- Ohho kya baat hein .. Thank you.

Payal- Thank You Meera di par iss sabki kya zarurat thi.

Meera- Bas chote se tohfein hi toh hein payal. Abb badi behen mana hein toh ye toh tumhara hak banta hein.

(Payal smiles)

(Meera gives gifts to everybody except one person and that was Haider. Everybody thanks her and leaves for the mehendi ceremony.)

Meera starts leaving but Haider holds her hand and pulls her closer

Haider- Ye toh nainsafi hein Meera

Meera- Kaisi nainsafi?

Haider- Pehele aapne mujhe pure din mere pyar se dur rakha aur abb aapne mere liye tohfa bhi nahi laya.

Meera- Kisne kaha ki maine tohfa nahi laya.

Haider- Toh phir laiye dijiye (he says moving his hand forward)

Meera- Itni jaldi bhi kya hein .. Mehndi tak ka thoda intezar kar lijiye.

Haider - Meeraa..

(All the girls go for the mehndi ceremony)

Meera and Bani were sitting together

Mehndi wali - Konsa letter likhna hein Mam?

Bani- V (She looks at Veer giving a big smile)

Meera- H (looking at Haider shyly)

Meera goes to Haider's room but as soon as she enters she sees him changing his shirt.

Meera-I am.. So.. Sorry Haider(she was flustered)

Haider-(moving closer to her) Sorry?.. Par kis liye..

Meera-Woh aap..

Haider - Main.. Kya(he moves closer to her, her back was now touching his bare chest.)

Meera- Aap aese..

Haider-Aaj aapne mujhe wakai bohot tadpaya hein(he says nuzzling his nose near her neck)

Meera-Haid.. Haider.. Aapko aapka gift chahiye ya nahi?

Haider- Gift?.. Ji bilkul

Meera- (extends her hand forward and shows his names first letter written on her hand)

Haider-Bohot Haseen tohfa hein (he says kissing her head) Waise kehte hein ki mehendi ka rang jitna gehra ho utni hi gehri mohhabat hoti hein.

Meera-Tab toh iss mehndi ka rang bohot khub jachega. (She smiles and tells him) lekin aapka tohfa ye nahi hein.. Woh kuch aur hein..

Haider- Kuch aur?
