Third POV

3 Year Later

Kate and her friend Sarah walk inside the public library to check out the books they need to help them on their history essay.

As they walk to the section where the book they need is. Kate freezes when she spots Quinn Parker the girl she accidentally bumped into in the coffee store. Quinn sat in a table writing in her notebook glancing back at the book beside her before continuing to write in her notebook.

"It's her." Kate says making Sarah stop walking and turn around to see Kate in shock.

"Kate what's wrong?"

"It's Quinn." Kate tells her but Sarah just looks at Kate with confusion.

Kate sighs, "Remember the girl I told you about. The one I bumped into last year  in the coffee shop making coffee spill all over her shirt."

Sarah's eyes widened in realization remembering Kate telling her about the accident with Quinn.

"Go talk to her." Sarah tells Kate nudging on her arm Kate looked back at Sarah in disbelief, "Stop that! Are you crazy I'm not going to talk to her." Kate replies Sarah rolled her eyes at Kate's response.

"Kate it's been a year, and you still talk about Quinn." Sarah reminds her, "I only talked about her two times. The first was because how embarrassed I felt for spilling coffee all over her. Secondly, I wondered if she was snapped like the others." Kate explains but Sarah knew that was half the truth.

"Don't forget the third reason which is you liking Quinn." Sarah teases Kate.

"I don't like her! I am not going to embarrass myself again. Also, it's been a year I'm sure she's forgotten who I am." Kate tells Sarah not wanting to embarrass herself again. Sarah shook her head and nudged her friend again. "You won't know if she remembers you unless you go talk to her. And I'm sure you won't embarrass yourself. Just stay calm and everything will be fine." Sarah assures Kate.

Kate looks at Quinn and then turns to look at Sarah who smiles at her assuring her everything will be fine.

Kate huff but reluctantly nods, "Fine! I'll go talk to her."

"Good luck!" Sarah says patting Kate's back, "And try not to ramble." Sarah added Kate gave her a thumbs up before she walked towards Quinn's table.

Sarah nods and walks away to the section of the book she needs.

"Don't ramble, don't ramble, don't ramble." Kate repeatedly whispers to herself.

Kate still couldn't believe she spotted you. She honesty didn't think she'll ever see Quinn again which made her sad but how wrong Kate was for thinking that.

Kate couldn't help but blush at finding the sight of Quinn running her hands through her hair to look hot.

Quinn was so focused on reading her book that she failed to notice Kate tripping over her feet before she sat down in one of the empty chair's.

It wasn't till Kate cleared her throat that Quinn looked up from her book and gapped at the sight of Kate sitting across from her.

"Hi!" Kate breathed out with a wave, coming face to face with Quinn for the first time in over a year. Quinn was flabbergasted at seeing Kate across from her. Kate still looked beautiful like the last time she saw her. Quinn was thankful her jaw didn't drop at seeing Kate again.

Although she was curious why Kate was sitting here. Wait does this mean she remembers who Quinn is?

"Hi." Quinn replied back looking at Kate's beautiful blue eyes trying not to glance down at her lips.

"Sorry to bother you, but I don't know if you remember me but we..."

"I remember you." Quinn interrupted her, "You're name is Kate, we met when you accidently bumped into me in the coffee shop making me spill my coffee all over my shirt." 

Kate blushes in embarrassment making Quinn chuckle at Kate's reaction.

"Well, it was nice meeting you again, Kate." Quinn said with a smile as she started packing her stuff and putting it in her backpack.

Quinn waved bye and Kate watched as she left the library, not wanting to make the same mistake again. She ran after her and stepped in front of Quinn. "Wait!" Kate said and pulled out her phone and handed it to Quinn. Quinn took the phone from Kate and saw on screen said New Contact.

"You want my contact?" Quinn asked in disbelief that a beautiful girl wants her contact, "Yeah." Kate replied making Quinn blush.

Quinn nods and puts her phone number in Kate's phone and hands the phone back to Kate who smiles as she looks at Quinn's contact.

Quinn silently laughs and Kate looked up smiling at her and shockingly for the first time Quinn actually felt comfortable around a person aside from Mr. Stark, Pepper, Morgan, and Happy.

"I have archery practice. Do you wanna come join me?" Kate nervously asked as much as Kate wanted to ask Quinn out on a date. She thought it was too soon to ask her out. When in reality Kate was scared that Quinn will reject her and everything will be weird between the two.

"Yeah sure that be great."

"Awesome!" Kate yelled gaining attention by the people who passed by them as they entered or left the library, but the two didn't care as Kate started leading the way.

On the walk, Kate and Quinn enjoyed one another's company while also learning about the other one. It was new and slightly awkward but adorable at the same time. Like when Quinn asked Kate why she took an interest in archery and Kate told her it is because she was saved by Hawkeye during the Battle of New York.

Hearing Kate mention Hawkeye made Quinn wonder how he is doing. The last time she saw him was during the battle in the airport of Germany. Since then, she hasn't seen him, but Mr. Stark did tell her that his whole family was snapped. Quinn felt bad for him and understood the pain he is going through losing your family.

The conversation about Hawkeye led to the two talking about their favorite Avengers. Kate's being obvious, and Quinn telling her Iron Man.

Quinn wondered how Kate would react when she tells her that she is living with Tony Stark. More importantly she wondered what Kate thinks of Spider-Woman, and if she is a fan.

Before Quinn could decide if she wanted to ask the two arrived at Kate's practice which was outside in the field, Kate led Quinn to where she can safely watch from. unknown to the two they failed to notice one of Kate's teammates eyeing Quinn.

Quinn couldn't deny how talented Kate is at archery. Call her bias but hell she is almost at Hawkeye level maybe even better than him. Quinn watched as Kate's arms and fingers hold and mess around with something that's basically string and wood never looked so hot. It surprised Quinn how Kate is this adorable dorky, awkward girl but once she holds her bow and shoot her arrow she turns into this  confident, cocky, and dominant girl.

Also, she was easily the best of the team.

Kate looked at Quinn and smiled proudly when she sees Quinn clapping amazed at seeing Kate's archery skills. Kate pointed at Quinn and then to the bullseye on the target before mouthing, "watch this." Quinn expected Kate to turn and look to where she was shooting, but she didn't. She looked straight at Quinn as she let the arrow go. Quinn's eyes wide the arrow successfully hitting the target.

"Holy shit!" Quinn muttered in shock as the archery team cheered for Kate.

Kate looks back at Quinn and winks at her.

I have finally updated!!! I was having writers block but now I think I'm all good and it's gone.

So I hope y'all liked Quinn and Kate's reunion.

I will be doing time skips but you'll still get to see the buildup between Quinn and Kate.

Also I have decided to make the oc intersex
