Third POV

Parker Apartment

"Will wait out the storm and then leave I don't think the storm will last long." Quinn said as she, Morgan, and Kate walk inside the apartment.

"Make yourself at home there's drink in the refrigerator if you're thirsty. I'll be right back need to change Morgan." Quinn says as she unbuckles Morgan from her car seat picks her up then grabs the diaper bag before she leaves and goes into her room to change Morgan.

Quinn mentally is relieved that she went shopping for food earlier this week when she stayed the night here feeling too tired to web back to the cabin.

"Okay." Kate said as she takes in her surroundings and sees pictures of Quinn as a child and a boy others showed the two with another lady as she walked into the living room. She saw photos that showed Quinn and the boy from the hallway pictures as teenagers. Kate picked up one of the picture frames that showed Quinn and the teenage boy wearing middle school graduation gowns Quinn had her arm around the boy neck while his arm was around her waist the two smiled widely at the camera.

Kate look up when she hears footsteps coming this way Kate manages to put the photo back on the table before Quinn arrived carrying Morgan who wore new clothes and new set of clothes in her other hand.

"Okay it is a good thing Morgan mom packed an extra set of clothes in case Morgan got her outfit dirty. You can wear my pjs since your clothes are a little wet from the rain. You can change in my room and I'll put you're clothes to wash." Quinn says and hands Kate the pjs.

"Thank you." Kate tells her as she takes the pjs from Quinn hand and has to stop herself from nestling her face in the pjs from how soft and warm they felt.

"It's no problem. Are you okay with eating pizza? I have frozen pizza that I can put in the oven, or I can cook something for us to eat?" Quinn asks as Kate walks to Quinn room, "I'm fine with pizza." Kate replies back before closing the door.

Quinn room was mixture of posters mainly of science and Star Wars as well as a few mini ones of Avengers specifically of Iron Man.

Kate couldn't help but silently laugh at the posters of Iron Man.

"Quinn really loves Iron Man." Kate whispers finding it adorable how much Quinn looks up too Iron Man.

Once Kate is done changing she walks to Quinn's billboard and sees pictures of the same teenage boy as well as pictures of the two with another boy mwith black hair and a few of Quinn with a brown haired girl. Kate couldn't help but wonder why Quinn hasn't introduced her to them. Her smile disappears and frowns when her eyes land on a Homecoming picture of Quinn wearing a suit and the brown haired girl wearing a dress both smiling in the picture.

Kate looks away from the billboard when she hears Quinn knocking on the door asking if she can come in.

Kate walks to the door and opens the door revealing Quinn who was feeding Morgan a bottle of milk.

"Glad the pjs were not big on you." Quinn commented as she subtly looked at Kate up and down.

"Kate looks so cute wearing my pjs."

"They fit perfectly." Kate says as she moves aside so Quinn can walk in and she sits on her bed looking down at Morgan who is now asleep. She takes the empty bottle of milk and sets it on her lamp stand.

"I didn't take you as a Star Wars fan." Kate said referencing the posters and the Death Star Lego that was in her computer desk. She sat down beside Quinn and noticed her looking at the Death Star Lego sadness in her eyes.

Before Kate could change the subject Quinn speaks.

"My twin brother is- was the biggest Star Wars fan. I wasn't much of a Star Wars fan, but I would watch the movies and help him, and Ned build the Death Star Lego." Quinn reveals a small smile on her face recalling the memories of binge watching Star Wars and the constant begging of Peter wanting her to join and help him and Ned with the Death Star Lego.

Kate took notice of Quinn correcting herself and had a guess on what happened to him and why she hasn't met him but is hoping she is wrong.

"Your lucky that you had a sibling. As an only child it gets lonely being by yourself, but you had a twin that you can play with." Kate says frowning at the times she felt lonely when she was kid and sometimes still does despite being busy with archery and having friends but that feeling of loneliness has been slowly going away ever since she reunited with Quinn.

Quinn doesn't know why but the next thing she knows she is talking about Peter to Kate something she rarely does with anyone expect Natasha who understands what it feels to lose a sibling, and those conversations only happen if she appears during her Spider Woman duties.

"When I was little and would be mad at Peter I would tell him that I wished I had no brother that I was an only child, and it was just me and Aunt May. I never meant it though and Peter knew I only said it out of anger." Quinn says as she looks at Morgan not wanting to see the pity look on Kate's face, "I could never imagine Peter not being a part of my life it's nightmare that I would never wish to come true living in a world where I don't have my twin brother, my best friend..."

"He was blip wasn't he?" Kate asked even though she knew the answer Quinn ignored her question and laid Morgan on her bed using a flat pillow for Morgan to rest her head on and covers half of her body with her blanket.

"And so was you're aunt as well?" Kate nervously asked she knew she should drop the topic knowing based on how Quinn reaction that it's a tough topic to talk about but she couldn't help but ask especially for Quinn mental health. She's heard that people who have lost their loved ones in the blimp tend to hide their pain by not wanting to discuss how their feeling losing a loved one.

Quinn clenches her hands as she reluctantly nodded.

"Morgan dad is paying the apartment bills he knows that this is the one place where I feel close to Peter and aunt May. Whenever I miss them too much or want to be alone. I come here this is my safe place you could say. Being here surrounded by memories of them before they... disappeared." Quinn looks up at Kate, "I'm sorry for dumping all this on you. Can we just forget all this and go back to how things use-"

"Quinn no!" Kate whispered exclaimed as she held Quinn's hands, "I know we haven't known each other long but I want you to confide in me, okay. I don't want you to keep all this sadness you feel to yourself because you miss you're brother and aunt. It isn't healthy for you to do that. So whenever you feel sad, mad, or whatever it is you feel. Just come to me and talk to me, okay. I'll listen to you and comfort you."

Quinn didn't know she was crying till she felt Kate wipe a tear away from her cheek. Kate cups Quinn face and the two close their eyes as they rest their foreheads against each other.

"I promise I won't leave you Quinn."

For the first time in over a year Quinn felt safe it wasn't the same feeling of safe she felt when she was with Mister Stark, Pepper, and Happy this feeling of safety she felt with Kate made her feel not only secure but hopeful.... something she hasn't felt in a long time.

Tomorrow I will be going on my family vacation so I won't get started on the next chapter till I come back home
