Third POV

"I hope you like pasta, Kate. If I knew ahead of time you were coming I would've asked Quinn to ask you what you would've liked to eat for dinner." Pepper says as she places the plate of pasta in front of Kate.

"It's fine Pepper and I do love pasta." Kate assured her before taking a bite of her pasta and was amazed of how good the pasta tasted, "This is really good it's the best pasta I've ever eaten." Kate complimented before taking another bite making Pepper smile at the compliment and Tony and Quinn amused by Kate's reaction.

"Thank you, Kate. I'm glad you like the pasta." Pepper said a smile on her face.

"So Kate what made you take a interest in archery?" Tony curiously asks, "Oh umm..." Kate pauses debating if she should the story thinking it might be something tiny would not want to remember the aliens invading New York and not knowing if he still keeps in contact with the rest of the Avengers that it be okay to mention Hawkeye. Before Kate could decide what to do she feels Quinn take her hand and squeeze it. She looks at Quinn who smiles assuredly at her.

Kate turns her attention back to Tony who is waiting for her answer.

"It was because of Hawkeye." Kate answers surprising Tony and Pepper neither expecting that to be Kate's answer, "It was when the aliens invaded New York City. I watched you and the Avengers fighting the aliens. I then saw a alien heading my way to target me but before the alien could attack me I was saved by Hawkeye, who used his bow and arrow. After being saved by him, I was deeply touched and became inspired by his actions, that wanted to learn archery so I can protect my mom." Kate explains.

Tony stays silent recalling the battle him confronting Loki at Stark Tower, while he was preparing to unleash his Chitauri army on New York City. Loki attempted to enthrall him with the Mind Stone with his Scepter, but it failed due to the Arc Reactor protecting his heart.

Kate sat nervously worried that she made Tony uncomfortable but before she could apologize Tony chuckles.

"So Clint is you're favorite superhero then." Tony asks and Kate nervously nods, "Well that's going to change for sure." He jokingly added making Kate relax relieved she didn't offend Tony.

"Well you're my favorite too, Tony." Kate said which was true he was in her top 5 favorite, "What about Spider-Woman?" Tony curiously asks making Quinn almost spit out her drink at hearing Tony question and Pepper discreetly hitting him in the stomach.

Kate smiles at the mention of Spider-Woman

"She's amazing she's done a lot helping the city." Kate says unaware of the smile on Quinn's face hearing Kate compliment Spider-Woman on her hard work.

"Well Spider-Woman appreciates the support of the city." Tony tells her, "You teamed with Spider-Woman?" Kate asked remembering seeing a clip of Spider-Woman helping Iron Man fight against one of Thanos minions.

Tony nods, "We've teamed up a couple of times."

Before Kate could question him more Pepper joins in the conversation again.

"Speaking of archery you're the captain of you're high school archery team, right?" Pepper asks changing the topic of conversation much to Quinn's relief.

Kate nods proudly, "That's right Spence High School has won the archery tournament for the past three years and we are aiming to win again for the fourth year in a row."

"Wow three years. Seems to me that it's thanks to you that you're the reason you're school has been winning for the past three years." Tony said impressed, "I wouldn't say am the reason we've been winning my teammates are also a part of why we've been winning and have made it to the semi finals." Kate replied giving credit to her teammates.

"Well I'm sure you're mom must be so proud of you advancing in the tournament, being in the archery team, and how passionate you are of archery." Pepper said as she fed Morgan her food not seeing Kate smile fall, "Yea... yeah she is proud of me." Kate said smiling but Tony could see it was a fake smile and takes notice of Quinn frowning.

Quinn intertwined hers and Kate's hand which made Kate that she Quinn to support her. Quinn knew the topic of Kate's mom was a sensitive subject since she hasn't appeared in any of the matches and doesn't like that Kate idolizes Hawkeye especially since she hates the Avengers.

"If it doesn't bother you, Kate will it be okay if Pepper and I attend the semi finals so we can see win and advance to the finals?" Tony asks surprising everyone especially Quinn and Pepper since Tony hasn't been seen in public since they left New York and moved to the cabin.

Kate is utter shocked hearing the Tony Stark asked her if he and Pepper can see her compete in the semi fans. She's snapped out of her shocked state when she feels Quinn pitch her side.

"Definitely! That would be amazing!" Kate excitedly answers earning laughs from everyone, "Good I'm curious to see how you are with a bow and arrow." Tony says.

Before Kate could reply Quinn speaks first, "She's amazing Mister Stark. In fact I think she's even better than Clint. I would even call her the world's greatest archer." Quinn said facing Kate with a smile which Kate returns and blushes at the compliment.

The rest of dinner was Pepper and Tony getting to know Kate more.

Once dinner was over Kate offered to help Pepper wash the dishes but Pepper assured her it is fine and to spend time with Quinn as she waits for Happy to come back to take her home.

Kate POV

"And here is my room." Quinn said opening her bedroom door and she and I walked inside her room. I hear the door close behind me as I looked around her room and saw books, science trophies on her shelves, a medal, a few pictures of Peter and her aunt May.

"You really are a science nerd." I teased as I picked up one of her trophies and see a picture of her and Peter holding the first place science fair trophy.

"Hey theirs nothing wrong with being a science nerd." Quinn argued in a playful tone as I place the trophy back where it belongs and see a picture of Quinn along with other students wearing medal necklaces and in the middle of the group of students is a Academic Decathlon trophy.

"You were a part of the Academic Decathlon?" I asked surprised spotting the first place Academic Decathlon medal necklace hanging in the wall next to the shelf.

Quinn nodded, "In my sophomore year the Midtown Academic Decathlon team won nationals tournament in Washington D.C."

"That's impressive. I can see why you're Tony student." I said making Quinn smile as she sat down on her bed and gestured for me to sit next to her and walk towards her and sit down beside her.

"Why didn't you tell me that you know Tony Stark?" I ask wanting to know the answer to the question that's been bugging me since I found out the truth.

Quinn looked at me with a sad smile, "Because if people found out I lived with them they would follow me to find out where they live and also I was afraid that people would want to because friends with me to meet Mister Stark. But I should've trusted you I mean you've been so nice, supportive, and I love hanging out with you. I trusted you by letting you hang out with me and Morgan, took you to my old house, and told you about Peter and aunt May. I'm sorry for not telling you, Kate."

"It's okay I understand why you didn't tell me. Hearing you're reasons why you kept living here a secret I would've honestly done the same." I assure her.

"I'm surprised you kept calm and didn't fangirl." Quinn said impressed, "It was so hard trying to be calm. How did you react when you first met Tony?" I curiously asked Quinn averted eye contact and twiddled with her thumbs and based on her reaction I knew the answer.

"Let me guess you freaked out didn't you?" I said laughing picturing Quinn freaking out meeting Tony for the first time.

"You would've reacted the same way if you met Hawkeye." Quinn exclaimed glaring at me, "That is totally not-"

I stop mid sentence as Quinn tilts her head and looks at me her eyebrow raised up.

"Okay fine I would've reacted the same." I admit making Quinn smile smugly at me and I playfully roll my eyes at her.

"So are ready for the semi finals?" Quinn asked changing the topic, "I'm ready but now I'm kinda nervous knowing that Tony and Pepper will be there watching." I replied.

Quinn places her hand on top of mine, "Theirs nothing to be nervous about. They are going to be there to support you and I'll be there as well cheering you on."

"Like always." I said and Quinn nods, "I gotta be there and support my girl-"

Quinn's eyes widened realizing what she just said to me.

Third POV

Before Quinn could say something to break the silence they hear knocking coming outside Quinn's door.

"Come in." Quinn said averting eye contact from Kate so she couldn't see Quinn blushing unaware that Kate was blushing but as well smiling feeling happy.

The door is opened revealing Tony who is carrying Morgan.

"Happy is here." Tony said and Kate gets up from Quinn's bed.

"Thank you for inviting me to dinner, Tony." Kate said with a smile on her face, "You're welcome and we've been wanting you to come but Quinn here was too shy to ask and thought will embarrass her. Which unfortunately I didn't get the chance to do but next time you come over I'll make to do that." Tony says ignoring Quinn's glare as Kate looks amused.

"And I'll make sure to stop that." Quinn said standing up from her bed and turns her attention to Kate, "I just remembered that I didn't get to show you the pictures I took of the tournament today." Quinn said.

"You can show me tomorrow besides you didn't take me out to celebrate my victory." Kate said, "Alright tomorrow then." Quinn replied and the two girls hug neither wanting to pull away but have to.

"Bye Kate."

"Bye Quinn."

Kate leaves the room with Tony following behind her but not before he closes the door.

"It was nice meeting you, Pepper." Kate said, "It was nice meeting you too, Kate. Oh and here is some leftover pasta for you to take home with you." Pepper says handing Kate a bag that contained the food.

Kate accepts the food and Pepper side hugs Kate taking her by surprise then hugs Pepper back.

Kate waved bye to Morgan and as Kate is walking towards the door she is stopped by Tony.

"Kate do you mind doing Pepper and I a favor." Tony asks, "Yeah sure of course." Kate replied.

"Can you keep a eye on Quinn whenever she and you are together." Tony asks and Kate looks at him with confusion, "What do you mean?" Kate asked confused.

Pepper joins in the conversation, "He means if Quinn starts acting off like not her normal self when she's with you to call or text us."

Tony digs into his pocket and hands Kate a card she accepts the card and sees two phone numbers on it.

"The first phone number is mine and the second one is Pepper." Tony tells Kate as she looks at the card and then at Tony and Pepper with concern.

"Is everything okay with Quinn?" Kate asks concerned and the feeling grew more when Tony and Pepper look at each other and then at Kate.

"I can't say much because it isn't mine nor Pepper place to tell you that's Quinn's but these upcoming days are going to be hard on her and since she's with you the majority of the day can you please keep a eye on her." Tony asks worried for Quinn.

"Yeah of course I'll keep a eye on her and tell you if something is wrong." Kate tells them and Tony and Pepper thank her.

Kate leaves the house and sees the limo out front she opens the door and gets in and closes the door and greets Happy  who greets her back. As Happy drove Kate back home all she could think about was her conversation with Tony and Pepper about Quinn, and what could be the reason why Quinn will maybe act differently.

A/N

Quinn and Kate are senior high schoolers so three years have passed since the snap.

Kate will have a close relationship with the Stark family.

Natasha will be making her appearance soon.
