Tony POV

I glance at Quinn who looks anxious as she watches cops speed pass us.

"Hopefully Spider Women shows up and helps the cops stop the speed chase before anyone gets hurt." Kate said, worriedly as Quinn looks at me and then looks down at her backpack that she kept her suit inside.

"I'm sure she'll show up and whelp the cops." I assure her Kate nods, "True she never let the people of the city down." Kate agrees unaware of the small smile on Quinn's face.

Kate turns her attention back to Quinn and looks nervously at her, "So do you want to come inside with me and wait while I get ready?"

Before Quinn could come up with an excuse I beat her too it first, "Actually I need to talk to Quinn about a project we are working on."

Quinn urgently nods, "Yeah a project Mister Stark asked me to help with."

Kate nods a small frown on her face was then quickly replaced with a smile, "That's fine I won't take long to get ready."

I felt bad for Kate it was clear that she was disappointed that Quinn had to stay here and not go with her, but it is important for Quinn to help the officers. Kate closes the door and walks away but before she walks inside the building Quinn lowers down the car window and yells, "No need to rush Kate!"

Once Kate was inside the building Quinn hands me her camera and quickly grabs her backpack from the floor.

"No fooling or joking around, Quinn. Help the cops and come back before Kate does." I ordered Quinn nods and bolts out the limo and runs to find an empty alleyway to change.

"You think she is going to be able to get here first before Kate does?" Happy asked, "Have faith in the kid, Happy, and if she doesn't I have a backup plan."I replied as I took out my phone and messaged Pepper that we stopped by Kate's place and will maybe be running a little late.

Third POV

Once Kate was done blowing her hair she walks out of the bathroom and to her closet and opens it and browses through her clothes trying to pick the best outfit to wear for dinner so she can make a good impression on the Stark family.

"C'mom I should have a good outfit to wear for dinner." Kate says starting to feel frustrated as she continues to look in her closet.

Kate having no clue what to wear grabs her phone and goes to her contacts and clicks on Sarah's contact and puts the call on Facetime.

Kate anxiously waits for Sarah to pick up and just as Kate was about to hang up Sarah answers the call to show her lying in bed.

"Hey Kat- what's with the panic look?" Sarah asks as she sits up from her bed worried what is making Kate panic.

"I'm joining Quinn family for dinner, and I have no clue what to wear!" Kate exclaimed pacing back and forth.

"Wait, hold on. Did you just say your joining Quinn's family for dinner?" Sarah asked in disbelief.

"Yes now can we foc-"

"When did Quinn invite you to join her family for dinner?" Sarah asks Kate groans beginning to grow frustrated by Sarah question, "See this just proves that Quinn likes you or she wouldn't have invited you to her family dinner."

Before Sarah could say more Kate speaks first, "You can ask questions later right now I need your help on what to wear. Quinn and her uncle are waiting outside for me."

Sarah nods, "Show me your closet."

Kate shows Sarah the clothes in her closet when Sarah tells her to stop.

Kate shook her head at the outfit Sarah chose for to wear.

"No! No! No! Absolutely not!" Kate argued refusing to wear this outfit.

It wasn't her style of clothes that she wore the only reason she has this outfit was because her mom bought it for her.

"You want to make a good impression on Quinn's family then wear the outfit." Sarah said, "Unless your finally planning on asking Quinn out so you can wear that cute outfit on you're date with Quinn."

"Fine I'll wear the outfit!" Kate says frowning Sarah nods in approval, "Good now remember to stay calm and not panic during dinner."

Kate nods, "Stay calm and not panic during dinner."

Sarah slyly smirks, "After all this is just a sneak peek of what's in store."

Kate furrows her eyebrows in confusion making Sarah laugh.

"Well once you and Quinn get married you'll be invited to all the family dinners." Sarah teases Kate laughing loudly at Kate's flustered state.

"Goodbye Sarah." Kate says hanging up the call before Sarah could say anything else. Kate sets her phone down on the counter and stares at the outfit Sarah chose for her.

The outfit was a button front jacket and a sleeveless dress. Kate never thought she'll wear the outfit and it will forever be in her closet but turns out she was wrong.

Kate puts on her outfit and goes back to the bathroom to do her hair and once she was done she leaves the bathroom then room and makes sure to lock the door of the penthouse before taking the elevator to the first floor of the apartment building and waving bye as she left the building and went to the side of the limo she sat in.

Just as she is about to open the door she stops when she hears one of the door opens and turns to see Happy getting out of the limo.

Kate takes notice of Happy looking slightly nervous.

"Happy are you okay?" Kate asks confused by Happy change of behavior, "I'm fine but Tony is taking a important business call that he asked me to tell you if you can wait out for a few minutes." Happy explains and Kate nods but furrows her eyes brows that Quinn didn't step out of the limo.

"Then why is Quinn in there?" Kate asked confused, "Well Quinn is kinda like Tony student so it make sense for her to be there plus she lives with him so she overhears these types of conversations."

"So are you feeling calm, nervous, excited?" Happy asked referring to dinner, "Definitely nervous but I'm going to try to stay calm and relax." Kate replies remembering what Sarah told her.

"Theirs no need to be nervous." Happy assures her but he can still see Kate is nervous, "Actually Tony and Pepper have been wanting to meet you." Happy reveals surprising Kate.

Before Kate could reply the window is rolled down revealing Quinn sticking her head out the window telling Kate and Happy to get in.

Pepper POV

"Pepper we're home." Quinn shouts.

I leave the kitchen and see Quinn, Tony, and Kate walk in.

Tony walks towards me and pecks my lips and heads to Morgan room to check on her.

"Quinn what did I tell you about shouting when you come home." I ask her amused by Quinn sheepishly smiling, "Not to because Morgan could be sleeping." Quinn replied earning laugh from Kate and Quinn playfully shoves Kate.

"It's nice to finally meet you, Kate. I'm Pepper Stark." I introduce myself sticking my hand out, "It's nice to meet you too, Pepper." Kate replied and shakes my hand.

"Quinn has talked about you to me and Tony that we been wanting to meet you." I told her.

"Pepper." Quinn said blushing in embarrassment.

"Really she has?" Kate said surprised I nodded and she then turned to face Quinn who looks away in embarrassment unaware that is Kate smiling at her.

"Well dinner is ready you two go sit down while I get Tony and Morgan." I tell the two and leave to go get Tony and Morgan.

HAPPY EARLY NEW YEARS!!!

I been trying to get this chapter published on Christmas but I always get distracted.

I might change the title of the chapter also I'm gonna be editing some grammar mistakes from the old chapters.

Next chapter is the dinner scene which I'm excited to write so you can see the relationship Kate will be having with the Stark family.

Few more chapters till Kate finds out the truth!!!
