Quick info. Guys, there are certain parts in the story I don't describe much because if I do, then it'll give away what's going on. I'm trying to keep it a secret.

I'm sorry if this story is slow too, but I want to make this an adventure for with the main characters, so be patient.

Yes, the Reader is going to have a small companion, though I won't say what it is until the time comes.

So enjoy what is yet to come and yes, there is more Varian fluff coming up in the series. But you gotta wait.

Chapter 26

“No! He's mine!”

“No! He's suppose to be mine!”

“Not during this scene!”

“But when there's not scene, he's mine!”

“But he loves me!”

“He loves me too!”

Rudiger just blinks, not knowing what's going on as you an Varian fight over him. He jumps from both your arms after happily seeing a food trailer roll up.

“Rudiger! Who do you love more!?”

“Come back here!”

The director facepalms as you and Varian start tripping each other to see who gets to Rudiger first. “Someone put Varian and (____) in a time out!”

“How are you holding up?” You ask.

Rapunzel thinks, humming, “Well I'm starving, oh!” She grins, “I could go for some Caramel Frappuccino with extra whipped cream!”

You blinks, “Rapunzel, we're shooting a scene-”

Cass crosses her arms, “To be honest, I would stick with my dark roast coffee instead of those flavored stuff. Especially the way we work.”

Eugene yells from down the hall, “YOU MONSTER!”

Cass rolls her eyes, “ONLY YOU WOULD LIKE THOSE FLAVORED DRINKS, PRETTY BOY!”

You stood there and glance at the director who looks like he's getting angry. “Uh…..you guys, we went off script again.”

Cass pulls out a set of keys, frowning, “Who cares. Let's go get something to eat before Raps stomach growls again during a scene.” She walks off.

Rapunzel blushes, “THAT WAS ONE TIME, CASSANDRA!”

You two follow Cass and the dictators yells, “LADIES GET BACK HERE!” He growls and sighs, “Break time!”

You go to check on Eugene like the King asked you to. You pull the doors open to the dressing room and see no Eugene. Just your ruffians.

“Where's Eugene?” You ask.

They shrug and you groan, closing the door. You walk down the hall to try the scene again, not hearing someone banging on a random closet door.

“HELP! I've been trapped in here all night! Curse the Captain's daughter!” Eugene yells and leans on the closet door. He screams as Freidborg turns on a lantern behind him and smiles.

“LET ME OUT OF HERE!!!!” The door opens by itself and Eugene runs down the halls.

Cass and Varian laugh as the remote to lock and unlock the closet fell from Varian’s hands.

Freidborg walks out then gives a thumbs up before going back to her own thing.

Chapter 27

“Sometimes, I don't feel like I belong here.” You say.

“She feels like she does not belong.” Big Nose whispers poetically through an echo mic.

“Like I'm supposed to be somewhere else.” You and Cass try to keep your cool.

Big Nose speaks again, “Somewhere Else.”

Cass clears her throat and holds back a smile, “(____)-”

You bite your lip, trying not to laugh, “I know it doesn't make any sense to you-”

“No sense whatsoever.”

You laugh, “Is this really necessary?”

Big Nose smiles, “No, but I'm practicing just in case. Your lines are perfect for a poetic repeat.”

Rapunzel and Eugene close their eyes and lean in to kiss, but they both yell as the boat flips over.

“I CAUGHT IT!” Vlad throws a giant fish onto the dock, laughing.

Unfortunately, the fish landed right on top of you and Cass.

Eugene bursts out laughing after coming up from the water. You stand, grimacing at the fish that still moved. “Whoa!” You duck as it goes over your head.

Cass is holding it by the tail and throws it at Eugene angrily.  

“Oh no, no, no, no, no! Ah!” Eugene goes under with the fish slapping his face.

Eugene falls into the water and comes back up.

“How’s the water feel, Fitzherbert?”

You pull out your phone when it vibrates and you snicker and text back.

Varian, who is sitting behind the director, laughs silently and texts you again.

Eugene was going to answer until the director cut him off, “Cut! Someone take away (____)’s phone.” He turns and plucks Varian's phone away. Varian huffs.  

In the next retake, you were frowning the whole time and Eugene was getting tired of the retakes.

“Aaaand GO!”

Eugene and Rapunzel lean in, but stop when Cass doesn't say anything. They look up just as a lantern is lit up and Freidborg grins.

“AH!” Rapunzel and Eugene freak out and fall back into the water.

The director groans, pinching the bridge of his nose, “Freidborg.”

You and Cass high five each other, laughing.

Eugene had knelt down on one knee and Rapunzel gasps a bit, “Oh Eugene! Wait, did you drop something?” She looks around and Eugene smiles tenderly, “No.”

He digs around in his jacket then his eyes widen, “Uh…..” He chuckles nervously and pats his pant pockets, “Actually, I did drop something.”

You shift in your seat and hide the small box in your hands.  Your eyes widen when Eugene is stalking your way.

“(_____)!”

You two run around the tables with everyone watching.

“No!”

“Give the box back!”

“No!”

Rapunzel is confused and nervously rubs the ring on her finger since everyone is staring at you and Eugene. Her eyes widen and she groans softly, chuckling, “Eugene.”

You slide under a table when Eugene jump at you and he slams on top.

“Eugene!”

He turns to her, “What?”

Rapunzel sheepishly holds up her left hand and shows the wedding ring, “I forgot to take to take it off.”

You laugh and toss Eugene an empty box. He opens it and sees nothing sitting on the cushion, “Oh come on!”

“Retake! Get that ring in the box!” The director yells.

Eugene holds up the small box and tries to open it. He chuckles nervously and pulls, but it still doesn't open.

“Come on.” Suddenly it opens and pink stuff explodes in Eugene's face.

Rapunzel covers her mouth and tries not to laugh. You, Cass, and everyone bursts out laughing.

Eugene's cheeks are blushed pink from the pink stuff and lots of it in his hair.

“Hey EUGENA! Pink looks good on you!” Cassandra says, laughing.

Chapter 28

Rapunzel gasps, “IS THAT A SECRET PASSAGE!?” She went in and you yelped slightly as she pulls you in.

You stood there in the dark, “Rapunzel?” Half way in, she had let go of your hand and you somehow went in a different direction. “Hello! Anyone?”

Cass and Rapunzel come out where they were suppose to.

The director speaks on his intercom, “Where's (____)?”

You see a light and your eyes widen as you walk out. “Uh….” You see dragons attacking a village as something on fire rolls by. “Wrong set.” You chuckle nervously and slowly back into the tunnel.

This time you walk out into a very springtime like atmosphere and big stone eggs with faces, “Wrong Set again.” You turn back and groan, “WHY AM I EVEN IN THIS MESS?!”

Suddenly your phone rings and you just hit your head again the passage walls. “I'm so stupid.”

“They're…...beautiful.” Rapunzel says while examining the rocks. You follow behind then trip over a very tiny rock.

“Whoa!” You fall and knock over the cardboard black rocks. More tumbled onto of you. You sat up and hold up a fake rock, “Can we use the real thing?”

Cass picks one up then smirks, holding it like a sword toward you, “En Garde!”

You stand up and grin, holding your own cardboard rock.

You two hit at each other and soon Rapunzel joins in the fun. The three of you laugh, knocking over all the rocks.

After the bright glow, Rapunzel goes to jump with you, but you two yell. A hard tuck had pulled you two down and you both groan.

“Hair got stuck!” Rapunzel says.

You look back to see when you two were running, her hair had wrapped around a bush.

“Retake!” When the director said that, Rapunzel’s hair poofs into sparkles and she's now back in her brown hair.

“Sorry!” Rapunzel says sheepishly.

Chapter 29

You watch as Cass tries everything to cut Rapunzel's hair. She was really getting frustrated and you all were confused when Cassandra leaves the room.

She kicks open the door and turns on a chainsaw, “Now let's see how tough this hair is!”

Rapunzel screams, running from Cass with all her hair in her arms.

“CASSANDRA PUT THAT CHAINSAW AWAY! Someone stop her!” The director says in panic, but no one dared to do the job.

Slowly, you sneak out of the room and shut the door quickly.

The Duchess stood next to you and luckily Eugene was on your other side. You silently pull out round colorful candy from a secret pocket on your dress and stealthily eat them.

The Duchess keeps glancing at you before, nudging you, “Hey, Kid. Give me some of those.” Lady Cane just went out of character.

You whisper while eating, “No.”

Eugene smelt the candy and glances too you, “Hey, I want some.”

You glare, “No. Get your own.”

Lady Cane growls lowly then she and Eugene start reaching for your bag of candy. You kept it away and slapped around at them.

As you three have a quiet brawl for the candy, Lady Cane’s wig falls off and it knocks the candy from your hands.

You all stop in panic. The candy rolls across the floor and scatter all over the walkway. All of your eyes widen as Rapunzel squeaks, stumbling around and trying to keep balance.

She falls into people and the three of you wince.

“(____)!! What did I tell you about food on set!?”

You grin sheepishly, “I was hungry.”
