{Tangled}

She was peering out the window looking at the night sky. It was almost her birthday. She decided she had enough inspiration to write some parts of her novel. She looked out the window one last time, when she saw Happy flying to her. She greeted him and the two went inside to get some rest. She decided she would write tomorrow. Lucy Heartfilia; lost princess of a kingdom. Why? Someone kidnapped the child and did away with her parents. She has no trace of this however. Lucy has never been outside. Ever. Her 'mother' Gotham decided it was to risky, if someone saw the child. So she locked Lucy in her tower. Why did she want Lucy in the first place? She wanted power to the royal kingdom. She wanted to be Queen of Sumerian's land. Lucy also held the power to heal. Her healing magic was the excuse Gotham used to keep her locked inside. She said 'It's too dangerous, they might kidnap you for your healing magic.' Where did her magic come from? Her hair, it was long.

and so we begin our voyage to a new land and new beginning,

with a different princess,

waiting to be rescued.

Lucy was sitting down writing her story.

"Lushee!" Happy flew to her lap and laid down.

"Hey Happy." She smiled down at the cat.

"You should probably get dressed and do your chores while your mother is away." Happy replied.

Lucy nodded and took off to her small room. Happy watched as she scurried into her closet and dressed into her purple dress.

"Do I look okay?" She asked the flying cat.

"Lushee, you look beautiful any day of the week." He smiled, he knew he was Lucy's cat, something no one else could be. He was happy.

"Thank you Happy!" She hugged him in her arms.

"Lushee, you might wanna do your chores," The cat pointed to a list.

"Your right." She walked over and ripped the list from the wall.

'Clean room
Sweep floors
Brush Hair
Cook Dinner
Feed Cat
Read
Study
Give cat bath'

Was what her list read.

"Happy, you need to have a bath." Lucy sweatdropped knowing Happy would refuse.

"Okay," He took his green bag of his neck and set it next to her book.

"Happy, did I hear you correctly?" Lucy asked astonished.

"Yep," Happy smiled at her.

"Thank you Happy. Now, who wants fish?" Lucy asked.

"Me! Me! I do!" He said in a cute manner.

"Alright c'mere little guy!" She gave him a fish and started to sweep the floor.

After she finished sweeping the floor, she brushed her hair, read, studied, and cleaned her room.

"Happy time for your bath!" Lucy called.

"Aye, sir!" Happy came in ready for his bath.

"Alright, the water should be warm enough." She said feeling the water.

"How is it to you?" She asked the cat dipping his paw in.

"Warm, it's good!" He smiled and lowered into the bath.

After his bath, Lucy started on dinner.

"I hope mother is okay." Lucy looked out in a worrisome manner.

"BRAT! LET YOUR HAIR DOWN!" Gotham called from outside.

"Speak of the devil, and she'll appear." Happy muttered.

He never did like Gotham. Why? She was rude to Lucy. She treated her like a maid. He knew Gotham used her to self heal. Lucy didn't believe him. He flew out and grabbed her by the shirt, he flew up then dropped her into the window.

"Thanks cat, at least your more helpful than Lucy." Gotham spat Lucy's name.

"Welcome home mother, how was your trip?" Lucy asked.

"It was better out there than in here. Did you do your chores like I asked." Gotham hissed.

"Yes mother." She smiled at her mother.

"Studied?" She asked another question.

"Yes mother." She nodded fast.

"At least you can do some things right." She looked at Lucy angrily.

"STOP TREATING LUSHEE LIKE THAT!" Happy yelled.

"Damn cat!" She yelled as she smacked Happy across the room.

"HAPPY!" Lucy screamed in worry for her pet.

"DONT HIT HIM LIKE THAT EVER AGAIN!" Lucy screamed at her 'mother'.

"Why you!" She smacked Lucy.

"Go to your room!" Gotham yelled.

"No!" Lucy retaliated, earning her another smack.

"Hit me all you want, I am not moving." Lucy was in fury. Happy hadn't ever seen Lucy in this state.

"MOVE IT!" Gotham demanded.

"No." Lucy held Happy closer to her,

"Happy, fly away, don't look back." Lucy whispered to Happy.

"No, Lushee." Happy cried.

"Happy go." Lucy demanded as she stumbled to the window in her large purple gown.

"Lushee..." Happy cried as he flew.

"Be Happy, for me...Happy." She watched him fly in the orange and pink clouds.

"Lushee, I will come back and get you." Happy cried and looked back.

After Happy had disappeared, Lucy got beat. After Gotham was done with her 'fun' she went to her room. Gotham screamed in rage. Lucy saw this as a chance to pack. As soon as Lucy was on the move Gotham came out.

"Brat, I will get you whatever you want from now on, just don't leave me." Gotham raged.

"I would like to see the floating lights." Lucy exclaimed.

"Nothing that includes you going outside." Gotham spat.

"I want the finest ink and paper you can receive." Lucy's eyes sparkled.

"Fine, I'll leave tonight. I will be back in four days time." Gotham was then escorted down the window by Lucy's hair.

After Gotham left and was out of sight, Lucy began to pack. When she finished packing, Lucy started to cook food to keep with her for the long journey. When Lucy finished she used her own hair to get out the window. Knowing Gotham wasn't far from her, Lucy took a longer route. She was now going to the castle. Happy, seeing her flew down and cried in her arms.

"Happy!" She cried and started to hug him tighter.

"Lushee." Happy cried too.

"Isn't this wonderful Happy, I got out and I don't have to go back! The world truly is beautiful, I've never seen it this close." Lucy looked in awe.

The trees were swaying slowly by the light breeze. The light breeze started to carry petals of flowers and some cotton. She truly loved the outside world, and now, nothing was preventing her from seeing it. She was finally free.

Or so she thought....
