•Love, Lies & Redemption•
"Ibadat wants to resolve this once and for all," Subhaan replied, his eyes locked onto Mannat's. "She's willing to listen, to understand why you're hurting." Mannat's expression twisted.
"Understand?" Mannat repeated, her voice laced with bitterness. "She has no idea what I've gone through." Dua intervened.
"Mannat, beta, Ibadat loves you. She wants to help." Mannat's gaze dropped, her shoulders sagging. "Tell her I'll meet her," Mannat said finally, her voice barely audible. Subhaan nodded.
"I'll arrange it. But Mannat, please, no more games. Ibadat deserves the truth." Mannat's eyes flashed, a hint of defiance remaining. As Subhaan left, Dua guided Mannat to a chair.
"Sit, beta. We need to talk." Mannat's gaze met Dua's. "Ammi, what if I've gone too far? What if Ibadat can't forgive me?" Dua's expression softened.
"Forgiveness is a journey, Mannat. But first, you must confront your pain and face the truth." Mannat's eyes welled up with tears.
Mannat's tears flowed as Dua enveloped her in a warm hug. "Face the truth, Mannat. Let go of the past." Mannat's voice trembled. "I'm scared, Ammi. What if Ibadat rejects me?"
Dua's hold tightened. "You're my daughter, Mannat. I'll stand by you, no matter what." Just then, Subhaan returned with Ibadat. Ibadat's eyes locked onto Mannat's, filled with compassion.
"Mannat, please know I love you, sister. Whatever hurt you, I want to help heal." Mannat's gaze dropped.
"Ammi said I must face the truth," Mannat whispered, her voice barely audible. Ibadat stepped closer. "Then let's face it together." Mannat's eyes lifted, meeting Ibadat's.
The two sisters sat together, Dua and Subhaan watching as they began their journey toward healing and forgiveness. "Mannat, why did you try to destroy me?" Ibadat asked gently. Mannat's voice cracked.
"I was jealous, Ibadat. Jealous of your happiness, your marriage, your life. Kainaat Phupi's words poisoned my mind, making me believe I deserved Subhaan's love, not you." Ibadat's expression remained compassionate.
"Why did you believe Phupi? Mannat's tears flowed freely. "She promised me love, acceptance, and a family. I was desperate for attention, for someone to care."
Dua Akhtar's eyes moistened. "Oh, Mannat, beta, I'm so sorry. I failed you." Mannat's gaze met Dua's. "No, Ammi. You loved me, always. I was blinded by my own pain."
Subhaan's voice filled with regret. "I should have seen the signs, Mannat. I'm sorry."
Ibadat took Mannat's hand. "We're sisters, Mannat. Blood or not, we'll heal together." Mannat's voice barely above a whisper. "I'm sorry, Ibadat. Sorry for the pain I caused." Dua smiled, her heart full. "Forgiveness begins here, today."
.........
Subhaan planned a surprise for Ibadat, eager to make up for the past. He transformed the rooftop into a romantic oasis, complete with candles and fairy lights twinkling like stars, fresh flowers in her favorite hues, and soft music filling the night air.
The atmosphere was magical, and Subhaan's heart swelled with excitement as he awaited Ibadat's reaction. As he led her to the rooftop, Ibadat's eyes widened in awe. "Subhaan, this is breathtaking!" she exclaimed, her voice barely above a whisper.
Subhaan smiled, his eyes shining with love, and took her hand, guiding her to the stunning setup.
A personalized photo album chronicling their journey lay open on a nearby pedestal, filled with memories of laughter, adventure, and quiet moments shared between them. Ibadat's tears flowed as she read his heartfelt letter, her hands trembling as she held the pages. "My love, my apologies, my forever," Subhaan had written.
"I promise to cherish you, to support your dreams, and to be your rock. Together, we'll heal and grow. Forever yours, Subhaan." The words spoke directly to her soul, and Ibadat felt her heart swell with forgiveness and love.
Subhaan wrapped his arms around her, holding her close as they stood together, bathed in the soft glow of the candles. "Ibadat, I love you more with each passing day," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion. Ibadat's voice trembled in response, "I love you too, Subhaan."
As they danced under the stars, their love shone brighter than ever, a beacon of hope and redemption.
Subhaan's eyes locked onto Ibadat's, filled with remorse. "Ibadat, I'm so sorry. Sorry for doubting you, for not being there when you needed me."
Ibadat's voice barely above a whisper. "You were lost, Subhaan. Blinded by your own pain." Subhaan's face contorted in anguish.
"That's no excuse. I should have seen through Mannat's lies, ammi's manipulation." Ibadat's hands cradled his face. "You see now, Subhaan. You see the truth." Subhaan's voice cracked.
"I failed you, Ibadat. Failed to protect you, to trust you." Ibadat's eyes filled with tears. "You're here now, Subhaan. That's all that matters." Subhaan's arms enveloped her, holding her close. "I promise to make it right, Ibadat. To regain your trust."
...........
"Dua Ammi, Ibadat and I have found our way back to each other, and we've decided to remarry. This time, our union is built on a foundation of genuine love, trust, and understanding, free from the shadows of past resentments and hurt."
Dua's face lit up with joy. "Beta, this is the best news! I'm so happy for you both."Subhaan's eyes shone with excitement. "Ammi, we want to start anew, free from the past."
Ibadat smiled, her eyes sparkling. "We want to prove that love can conquer all, even the darkest of times."Dua's voice filled with emotion. "Your love has already conquered so much. This new beginning will bring blessings."
Mannat, standing nearby, tears in her eyes, stepped forward. "I'm grateful for a second chance, to see you both happy."Subhaan and Ibadat exchanged a warm glance. "We forgive you, Mannat. You're family."Dua beamed. "Then let's plan a beautiful wedding, one filled with love, laughter, and new beginnings."
Kainaat Phupi's face twisted in malice. "That's not going to happen, Subhaan. I'm not letting you marry Ibadat, that girl with Ghazal's dirty blood." Subhaan's eyes flashed with anger.
"Ammi, that's enough. Ibadat is innocent, and I won't let you poison our happiness." Kainaat's voice dripped with venom.
"Innocent? You're blinded by love, Subhaan. Ghazal's legacy taints Ibadat's very existence." Ibadat stood tall, her voice firm. "I'm not defined by my family, Phupi. I'm my own person, worthy of love and respect."
Subhaan took Ibadat's hand. "We won't let your hatred control us, Ammi. We'll build our future together."
Ibadat's voice rang out, defiance in her eyes. "Yes, I was born from Ghazal, but Dua Ammi raised me. Her love, guidance, and values shaped me into the person I am today."
Kainaat Phupi's face contorted in disgust. "Ghazal's blood runs through your veins, Ibadat. You can't escape that." Ibadat stood taller, her voice firm.
"I won't let you define me by my birth, Phupi. Ammi's influence has purified my soul." Subhaan stepped forward, his eyes blazing. "Ibadat's character speaks for itself, AMMI. Your hatred won't tarnish her."
Dua Akhtar intervened, her voice calm and authoritative. "Enough, Kainaat. Ibadat is my daughter, and I won't let you poison her with your venom."
Subhaan's voice rang out, firm and resolute. "I'm going to marry Ibadat, and that's final." Kainaat 's face paled, her eyes wide with shock.
"Subhaan, beta, please reconsider." Subhaan's jaw clenched. "No, Ammi. I won't change my decision. Ibadat is my choice, and I'll stand by her."
Ibadat's eyes shone with tears, her voice barely audible. "Subhaan, are you sure? Subhaan's gaze softened. "Absolutely, Ibadat. I love you, and I won't let anyone come between us."
Dua's expression warmed with approval. "I'm proud of you, Subhaan. You're following your heart." Mannat smiled, relief washing over her face. "Congratulations, Subhaan and Ibadat." Kainaat's face contorted in anguish. "This is a betrayal, Subhaan. You're betraying your family's honor."
