Lots of things happened in Taehyung's old high school. It was one of the messiest schools you'd ever see. Not just the hallways covered in dirt and leaves that were kicked in by the students who played soccer outside every chance they got but also by the many papers students lost while running in the hallway to go home. 

Taehyung, a hearing person then, would be the loudest person in the room. His laughter would travel to everyone and the whole room would be laughing even the homeroom teacher who would do a quick laugh before trying to calm down the students so he can take attendance. 

Taehyung was the best soccer player but he would never admit it. His friends Ricky and Mark they weren't bullies but when fights happened one of them would always take part. Taehyung would walk by and notice them and push them away from the scene. He would do this for many reasons, one he was worried about his friends getting in trouble and two he hated seeing people getting hurt. Taehyung met Hoseok through his somewhat odd friends and it was the best thing about his experience at that high school. 

Hoseok always brings smiles to everyone. But back then he would always make sure any kid who seemed lonely felt loved. His smile makes so many people smile back instantly, every once in awhile there was one kid who wouldn't crack a smile. This kid was Jaehyun, a little more heavy set then and looked nothing like he does now. But he was a lonely soul who wouldn't smile until Hoseok would give him positive words daily for a month and then he started to smile. He told Hoseok that he felt like no girl would look at him due to his appearance and Hoseok said "there is nothing wrong with how you look, anyone would be lucky to have you. If they only like someone for their appearance that's not good anyways, that's shallow. Relationships should focus on emotions not appearance", this sentence gave Jaehyun hope and a new best friend. 

Him and Hoseok would wave at each other everyday. But as Taehyung would get more and more close to Hoseok. Hoseok would find himself on the other side of school than Jaehyun was and that was were his hatred for Taehyung started. When he caught Taehyung making Hoseok smile he felt jealously, he wanted to be the one to make Hoseok smile.  Whenever he'd see Taehyung with his arm around Hoseok he would get angrier and angrier. 

The day of the fire Taehyung was in the classroom and he heard screams coming from outside of it which made him freeze in his seat until the fire alarm went off and the other kids who were in there got up and rushed out. Watching the whole mess in what seemed like slow motion Taehyung got up slowly. But what really got him to run was hearing a high pitched scream a "Help me". He ran out and followed the screams finding himself getting closer and closer to the fire. The fire was starting to get out of control, the flames blurred his vision. The smell was slowly getting to his head. He started feeling how warm the flames were as if he was the flame itself. But he kept running the sweat started coming down his face as well as his legs. The screams got louder and louder and that's when he found who it was coming from. By the time he got closer she stopped screaming, she started giving up. She was trapped under a water fountain that collapsed on top of her in the chaos.  In an adrenaline rush he manages to push the fountain off of her.  "Please get up, we have to go" Taehyung said over and over again trying to shake her to open her eyes. Her eyes fluttered open and Taehyung could see bruises from her fall on his face and neck, her eyes tired slowly trying to close, a cut on her lip along with ash covering her whole face and hands.. He motions for her to get on his back, he helps her up quickly as she gets up and uses her hands to try to get the ash off of Taehyung's shoulder. The fire crackles on the walls surrounding them. Taehyung starts coughing as he tries to get them out of the mess. 

He saw a teacher running down the hallway and he yelled to him. "Teacher!!!" He yelled not knowing the name of the man, it catches his attention and he rushed to Taehyung and helped get the girl off his back and asked Taehyung if he was okay as they fast walked to the nearest exit as the flames got bigger and bigger. "I'll be okay just get her help, hurry" Taehyung pleads for the teacher to rush the unknown girl, to him, out of the building and let him fall behind. Taehyung tried to catch his breath. He ended up falling to his knees. He knew he needed to get out of there but the fumes were starting to catch up to him and he felt his body giving into the fire. Stop, drop and roll wasn't on his mind as he felt his feet getting warmer and warmer. 

"Taehyung you need to get up" Hoseok's loud screams came from somewhere in front of him. 

"I came back for you when I couldn't find you, please get up" He yells safely in a part of the and his voice makes Taehyung looked up.  He crawled until he got  himself up on his knees and he sat up. He fought to keep his eyes opened and he got up completely and started sprinting. He got to Hoseok who told him that they have to hurry there is only one exit left where the fire hadn't gotten yet. Hoseok runs beside Taehyung as he leads him to the one staircase to their safety then they get to a side exit door which is in the school's basement and they walk up those stairs and make it out. They witnessed the firefighters rushing into the building from anywhere they can and Taehyung's legs gave out, he fell face flat on the grass. Hoseok had no ash or anything on him. 

Hoseok was outside when everything happened. But he knew Taehyung was still in the classroom and when he never came he worried and despite his teachers telling him no he ran inside up to near the classroom, he saw the flames in the distance and got closer and closer and he heard Taehyung yelling for a teacher, which made him run faster. Luckily Taehyung got up before Hoseok was going to go deep into the worst part of the school to get him. 

A few professors ran to Taehyung and Hoseok helped them get him up and take him to an abulence. That's why Taehyung was running two and from the location the fire started, he saved a girl's life that day. 

Jaehyun witnessed Taehyung running in the hallway, just like everything he decided to blame it on Taehyung just because Taehyung 'stole' his 'best friend'. Meanwhile Taehyung almost lost his own life saving someone else. 

Jungkook is about to find out this whole story when he gets to Jin's house but who knows who he will believe at this point. Jaehyun has Jungkook on the palm of his hands and is trying to push Taehyung out of the way so it can stay that way.
