Taehyung's eyes slowly open as hes greeted with no sounds, the feeling of being sick, a heat flash and the feeling of someones hand on his....Foot. Taehyung tries to sit up but doesnt get the strength to. But from what he can see Jin has fallen asleep sitting up with hand slightly on his foot.  With all the force he can he slightly moves his foot, the motion slightly making Jin wake up but he falls back asleep instantly. Taehyung slowly inches his body closer to Jin "J-Jin" he tries speaking, he realizes he can't hear his voice. His dream of the perfect hearing world turned out to just be a dream. He lets out a small sigh before closing his eyes again, but this time sleep doesn't return. 

Taehyung gets up and looks at Jin who is still sleeping, he sleepily drags his feet to the kitchen. Without thought he grabs a bowl from the kitchen and places it, rather loudly, on the counter. Not knowing the loud noises he's making as he gets the milk from the fridge and letting the fridge door to loudly close itself. Jin wakes up, alert as if a robber is in his house, that is until he realizes Taehyung is missing from the floor near him. He walks into the kitchen and puts his hand down hard on the counter. Taehyung doesnt notice, Taehyung turns and puts the milk away. 

Jin continues to pat the counter making the bowl thats on it shake, Taehyung looks at Jin. 

Why don't you put your hearing aids back in? Jin signs 

it sounds weird Taehyung signs 

what does? Jin signs 

"everything, my voice, and either way it doesn't magically let me hear everything it's.. it's crap"

Taehyung says out loud, a bit too loud for Jin who just woke up but Taehyung can't hear so he doesn't seem to care.  

Taehyung makes a face. 

whats wrong? Jin signs and Taehyung spits the food back into his bowl 

"it's... I can't seem to taste the food or anything and it's making me feel sick" 

Jin rushes to be in front of Taehyung, as soon as he places his hand over Taehyung's forehead, Taehyung feels his whole body go weak. 

Jin uses all his strength to put Taehyung on his bed in the next room over, he goes into his bathroom and grabs some medicine, then he runs to the kitchen pours a glass of water and grabs a spoon. He goes back and kneels on the floor next to the bed. Taehyung's eyes slightly opening but weakly as if they will close again. Jin helps Taehynug sit up and puts the spoon to Taehyung's mouth but Taehyung shakes his head refusing. 

Jin snaps his fingers in front of Taehyung's eyes making Taehyung open them a bit more and focus on Jin's hands. Stop being a baby Jin signs and Taehyung gives in and lets Jin spoon feed him the medicine.

Night has faded and gone and it is now early morning. Jungkook hasn't gotten much sleep and didn't even change his uniform last night, he makes his way off the bus, his clothes a wrinkly mess. He slowly walks into school his fringe covers his eyes. He bumps into something causing him to stop walking. "I'm sorry" he says softly he goes to turn around the person he just went into. 

"Jungkook...right?" The voice comes out soft like a warm blanket causing Jungkook to stop walking. 

"yes" he says and he slightly looks up and is greeted with a smile "I'm Jaehyun, I mean you might remember me, listen i'm sorry for what I've done especially to your friends" 

"Apologize to Taehyung not me" Jungkook says unfazed that he is talking to someone who physically hurt and threatened Yoongi, one of his best friends and was mean to Taehyung, his boyfriend and roommate. He doesn't even go to make a remark and stand up for Taehyung. 

Almost like all the previous times he saw Jaehyun, he kept quiet to him. Never yelled at Jaehyun, he was too focused on being upset with Taehyung or comforting Taehyung while Jaehyun was around. 

"Where is he, I'd like to do that" Jaehyun says his light brown hair lighter due to the lights above him raining down on him like he is some angel. 

"I don't know" Jungkook leaves Jaehyun confused in the middle of the hallway as he goes to class. He sits in his seat not even realizing Yoongi wasn't in class. the first class starts and ends, Yoongi never showed. Namjoon didn't even show up either. Lunch comes around and Jungkook lazily goes to the cafeteria not even realizing his friends weren't surrounding him. He grabs a tray and gets random food items. 

He sits alone at his lunch table, an orange juice box in hand he opens the small carton and puts it on the table. He picks up his spoon and jabs his rice with it repeatedly. Jaehyun walks into the cafeteria, he notices Jungkook all alone. 

"So tomorrow are-" Jaehyun waves for Minki to stop talking and ignores his friend shewing him away as he makes his way to Jungkook. He happily puts a smile on his face and sits in front of Jungkook. 

"You don't like rice?" Jaehyun questions and Jungkook sighs 

"you want it or something?" Jungkook gives an attitude really not in the mood to talk. 

"No, but if you don't want it I can go and get something else and we can trade, what do you want?" 

Jungkook doesn't answer. "I know what will work" Jaehyun leaves and returns a few minutes later with ice cream. "Here" he pushes it closer to Jungkook.. Jungkook hesitates and then takes the plastic covered ice cream, he takes off the cover and takes his spoon out of his rice and without even cleaning the small grains off the spoon he eats his vanilla with chocolate fudge ice cream.  Maybe he has changed, Jungkook thinks about Jaehyun. It's his first thought that isn't about Taehyung. Jaehyun smiles as he watches Jungkook finish the ice cream.
