Taehyung wearing his hearing aid runs down the hallway his books clenched next to his chest, his sling bag hanging down his arm. His breathing slows down as his heart races. This can't be happening, not today. He thinks to himself. 

Someone running after him trying to pick up their pace, Taehyung doesn't notice as he sprints with one single thought in mind, I need to get there. 

The footsteps behind him catching up, "I got you" a hand reaches out and Taehyung just lets his bag go and the person grabs his bag instead. 

"Come on Taehyung, wait for me" Jungkook between breaths as he grabs Taehyung's bag that he has abandoned . 

"I know you can hear me" Jungkook adds and Taehyung jokingly takes out his hearing aid, then puts it back in, no time for joking, he thinks.  

Jungkook stops and watches Taehyung turn the corner. 

"Hey why are you running?" Yoongi asks making Taehyung come to a complete stop, he looks over at Yoongi who has just gotten out of the nurses office. 

"You're okay" Taehyung says tears starting to come to his eyes..

"Aren't you supposed to cry before finding out I'm okay?" Yoongi asks

"I didn't know you were hurt" Taehyung admits and he grabs onto Yoongi's arm and starts running, Yoongi trailing behind him. School ended minutes before but Taehyung is eager to see if the news is true, is he back? Will he try to hurt him again?  

Taehyung stops quickly and Yoongi confused follows along and stands next to them, their back against the wall. Jungkook finally catches up out of breath and puts his hands on his knees as he tries to breathe normally again.  

"Why are you?" Jungkook starts talking, Taehyung looks at him and puts his pointer finger to his lips signaling for Jungkook to be quiet. Taehyung looks over the corner of the wall he has his back on and he sees the last person he ever thought he'd see again, Jaehyun, the kid that made them go to the hospital that one day months ago. 

"He is back" Taehyung signs to Jungkook. Jungkook confused looks where Taehyung is looking then Taehyung pulls him back as soon as he sees Jaehyun turning around. 

"Whats going on?" Yoongi whispers and with the silence surrounding him he takes action and moves to see who they were looking at, he sees Jaehyun's side profile before seeing the back of his head. His jaw tightens, 'I'm your worst nightmare' Jaehyun's introduction words burn into Yoongi's mind. The vision of Jaehyun almost breaking his nose comes back into play. Jaehyun's newly dyed light brown hair symbolizing a possible change in personality and style but Yoongi doesn't buy it. The bright red shoes making their way to the front door, Jaehyun's mom walking behind him with the principal. 

"After receiving help and talking to many individuals I assure you he is ready to be back in this school and won't cause any issues" Jaehyun's mom says and the principal clears his throat, and nervously says "I hope that is true and I see that you've gotten some parents of the kids who he, hurt the feelings of, to agree to his return" the principal says and then Yoongi stops paying attention. Jaehyun's scene with the lighter before he left that last day comes up in his mind. 

He's going to burn someone, he wont fool me. Yoongi think's to himself.  

"Hey, Yoon, lets go" Jungkook says reaching out to his friend. Yoongi shakes his head. "I need to see Jimin" Yoongi says and Jungkook puts his hand down. Taehyung takes his hearing aid out and puts it in his pocket. Yoongi walks back down the hall to go to the nurses office to get his stuff.

"Jungkook" Taehyung Says as they sit next to eachother on the bus, he looks over to Jungkook to see his mouth.

"I don't hate your voice, I just I can't rely on these" Taehyung says taking out and holding his hearing aids in his hand

"I know, I know" Jungkook says with a reassuring smile. "I know" he says putting his head on Taehyung's shoulder. Taehyung didn't get the last 'I know' but Jungkook's head on his shoulder was all he really needed.  

The bus comes to a stop and Jungkook takes Taehyung's hand so he knew it was their stop. They make their way up to their apartment. 

"I'm going to the room, please don't follow me" Taehyung mumbles under his breath, not even looking at Jungkook for a argument. Once in the bedroom Taehyung closes the door behind him and locks it. Jungkook still holding onto Taehyung's bag drops it onto the floor in front of the couch wondering if he should go see Taehyung or stay out there. Taehyung moves Jungkook's bed away from his and then goes under the covers. He looks up at the celling. Almost as if a projector was projecting his memories onto the white celling, Taehyung see's Jaehyun, Minki, Yoongi and the whole situation begins from start to finish, how clueless Taehyung was, how weak Taehyung was... He regrets everything wondering if Jaehyun will do something again, to him, to Yoongi. Will Jungkook get dragged into this. Him and Jungkook don't hide their feelings towards each other, but not everyone knows about them. If Jaehyun found out, what would happen then? New material that could possibly get Jungkook hurt, get him hurt. But Taehyung doesnt worry about himself, hes mainly focused on Yoongi his best friend who always fights for him, and Jungkook the love of his life who does his best to learn sign language so they can communicate with no misunderstandings or at least not many. 

How can I make sure Jaehyun doesn't find out? Taehyung thinks, theres only one way... I need to break up with Jeon Jungkook.
