Jungkook turns his phone off as he puts it back into his pocket. The sun blaring down on him but not enough to keep the cold wind from making him shiver.

He walks deeper inside the old abandoned school. Last night after a day of skipping school with Taehyung he got a text message asking him to go to this location, he agreed and woke up early this morning knowing Taehyung had plans with Yoongi, he left after he did. Got on the metro and waited until he reached the closest stop to the location he promised to go to.  Why did he turn his phone off? He didn't want to be rude and wanted to listen to what his friend wanted to tell him.

He turns and walks past broken lockers and rooms with no doors until he finds room 110 he walks inside and looks at the brown haired boy.
"You wanted to meet up?" Jungkook says getting his attention. Jaehyun looks up and stands up from the desk.

"This used to be my classroom" he says running his fingers across his old desk

"And over there in the corner is where Taehyung sat" he takes a deep breath. "Do you want to hear more?" He adds.

"How do I know you're not lying?" Jungkook asks, Jaehyun laughs and picks up his bag from the floor besides him. He pulls out a book and hands it to Jungkook. "Look at page 50" Jungkook obeys and looks through the yearbook and there he sees a younger Taehyung. He sits on top of a desk, placing the yearbook on his lap, the desk not as fragile as expected holds him up.

"If you and Taehyung went to school together why didn't he say anything?"

"he didn't remember me because I got surgery, and a lot of stuff changed I look very different"

"Where are you in this yearbook?" Jungkook questions and Jaehyun lets out a small laugh. "Last one on the bottom of the page" Jungkook looks down and sees an unrecognizable Jaehyun, but his name was right under it proving it to be him.

"We were only at this school a year before the fire then we all went to different schools. I never really talked to him but I always envied him and his friends they'd laugh and talk about me, he'd always just walk away and pretend he didn't hear what they were saying. He saw how Ricky kicked me one day and he didn't help, I envied him, but i was so desperate for him to save me, I was the fat boy no girl wanted, I was the boy who'd longed to be noticed. Taehyung, he was noticed by everyone even My best friend, Hoseok... he gave me a juice box once with a slight smile when noone was looking, he sat with me at lunch, he maybe only did that because his friends were gone but it meant the world to me but then when Hoseok met Taehyung and they got close that was it, my best friend was gone...."

Jungkook clears his throat, "I thought Minki was the reason you were mean to Taehyung?"

Jaehyun doesn't say anything at first,  but after taking a deep breath he answers the question "he told me about Taehyung and his condition... I felt sympathy for him, until I saw his face and found out who it was, with malicious intents I trashed talked him to my friends... I know this was bad of me to do, and looking back to see what an asshole I was, I really have changed my ways, I'm no longer the angry mess I was, but I just thought I could tell you my back story and get it off my chest" Jaehyun looks down

"Why the old school?" Jungkook asks

"I thought it would only be right to talk about the past and leave the past here,  where it happened" A tear goes down his face

"Don't cry, I'm happy you let out what's on your mind, and now you can move on" Jungkook gets up and leaves the yearbook on the desk and goes to put his arms around Jaehyun. Jaehyun presses his face against Jungkook's chest.

"Now do you want to show me around this school or is it too painful?" Jungkook questions and Jaehyun nods his head and the hug breaks up. Jaehyun smiles lightly and gets up leading Jungkook out of his old classroom.

They pass by the lockers where kids would leave mean notes to one another on the outside. They pass classrooms where people had their first kiss or not because some people do that later in life and thats okay.

"They used to have the best food here, way better than the school we are in now" Jaehyun says with a huge smile on his face. "Speaking of food want to get some?" he adds and Jungkook looks into the ashy remains of the cafeteria.

"Sure" he says before putting his hand around Jaehyun's am and rests his head on Jaehyun's shoulder.

"Thanks for trusting me with your darkest moment's and what your feeling" Jungkook says and Jaehyun smiles

"I should be saying that to you" Jaehyun says as they walk out the building am in arm.

They go into the convenience store where Jaehyun would go every day after school. Jungkook gets some ramen while Jaehyun gets a lunch box. They eat outside at one of the tables outside.

"You know they have really good stores around here?" Jungkook says, "I've always wanted to go to them" he puts more food in his mouth.

"Lets go! I mean after we finish eating of course" Jaehyun says and Jungkook smiles excitedly.

They finish their food, throw the trash away and start walking down the street.

"We have to go into that clothing store" Jungkook says excitedly before grabbing Jaehyun's arm and rushing in that direction.

"You have to try on that blue shirt that was on the mannequin" Jungkook says and he looks around until he finds it. He picks up a small and shows it to Jaehyun "I'm actually a medium" he says shyly and Jungkook quickly changes it. After picking out a few outfits for each other they go into the dressing rooms and they come out to show each other each outfit and they laugh and have a great time. After they are all shopped out they slowly make their way to the subway.

They tiredly wait for the right train with a bunch of other people. The noise goes off signaling their train is arriving. They rush in when the doors open and Jaehyun sees an open seat.

"You should take it" he says slightly pushing Jungkook towards it.

"Are you sure?" Jungkook asks and Jaehyun nods in response. Jaehyun stands in front of Jungkook almost protective like as he grabs onto the triangle handle that keeps him from completely falling over whenever the train stops.

A few stops later and the seat next to Jungkook opens up and Jaehyun takes it after making sure no older people or pregnant women or little kids are standing because he knows they would need to sit down more than he does. A few minutes later after sitting down he feels something hit his shoulder, he looks over realizing Jungkook has fallen asleep and now his head is resting on Jaehyun's shoulder.

"Taehyung doesn't deserve you" Jaehyun mumbles under his breath. Jungkook is too deep into sleep to hear.
