Question/statement of the chapter: Many people have commented recently on Earphones about Jaehyun's character asking if he was from the NCT member,N Flying or Golden Child etc... To be honest I just picked a random name. But comment which group you thought of when you read his name ~

"The sun is shinning the day is great"

"Yoongi shut up" namjoon throws his chopstick at Yoongi

"Well jokes on you now you can't" Yoongi looks at Namjoons plate which is already empty "never mind you ruin the fun in everything" Yoongi mumbles.

Jungkook is at the door of the cafeteria talking to Jaehyun while Taehyung is sitting at their table with his back to the door not knowing they are currently talking. Yoongi looks at Taehyung who hasn't started eating yet. Yoongi taps on the table repeatedly in front of Taehyung while saying his name over and over until he looks up.

"yes?" Taehyung asks lifelessly

"is your cold back? do you want to go home?" Yoongi asks

"No, I'm fine maybe I still feel a little sick" he lies.

Jungkook happy makes his way over and sits back at the table, he pushes Yoongi down to the left so he can sit directly in front of Taehyung.

"He's so artificial" Namjoon mumbles to Yoongi who grabs his arm. The swift action catches jungkook's attention, he looks over and notices Yoongi's grasp on Namjoon's wrist.

"We are going to let you two love birds have alone time, aren't we" Yoongi says Namjoon unwillingly follows Yoongi as they pick up Their trays and put them away before walking into the hallway.

"Listen I've been watching Jungkook all of lunch he's putting on an act" Namjoon mumbles.

"A true observational king, but did you really have to call him artificial what if he actually heard you, you would've set him off into one of his fits"

"Well listen if he's going to be all friendly with a man who put you and taehyung through hell and then he walks on up to Taehyung smiling as if he didn't just have a long convo with that guy instead of his boyfriend who he hasn't really seen in days.. Then He has no choice but to listen to my snarky comments" Namjoon snaps

"How does this make him artificial?"

Namjoon signs deeply getting frustrated

"He's like putting on an act as if he didn't just talk with the enemy"

"At least he's not sleeping with the enemy"

"That could be next" Namjoon walks down the hallway leaving a stunned Yoongi

"Wait what?!?" Yoongi says louder than planed he rushes to catch up with Namjoon

"Jaehyun follows him like a dog with a bone they obviously are getting too close... wait aren't you supposed to be the one upset because of this"

"Of course I'm upset" Yoongi sighs "but maybe I'm being artificial so I don't hurt Taehyung"

"Ever thought of dating Taehyung instead of Jimin?" As a response to this question Yoongi hits his shoulder.

"I'm happily with Jimin" Yoongi pouts at the stupid question Namjoon put out.

"I'm only saying that because you are doing the right things for Taehyung and are there for him..Jungkook doesn't do that or at least he tries but it doesn't work out, like right now hes being dumb and artificial because he is hiding something not because he generally wants Taehyung to be happy, you know that..I know that"

"That doesn't mean I've thought of dating him" Yoongi puts his arms over his chest

"Did you know Jimin, to make his dad happy, decided to make a secret cafe, well the cafe isn't secret but it is from his dad, he tried putting the cafe in the restaurant and it did well but not too well so he decided to tell those customers to check out his new cafe when it opens and because Sanha is so smart he asked Jimin about it yesterday because he figured it out... But promised of course not to tell Jimin's dad because his dad never liked or really supported the idea of Jimin having a cafe"

"Thats great Yoon but why are you just randomly going on a tangent about your boyfriend" Namjoon asks as they walk into their semi empty classroom.

"Because he is beautiful and I love him and I never thought of dating Taehyung like that because i'm perfectly happy"

Namjoon sighs as he takes his seat and Yoongi goes to sit next to him.

"So when did you find out about the cafe?" Namjoon gives in and lets Yoongi talk about his perfect boyfriend

"I found out a few days ago, Jimin also is planning on dying his hair blonde can you believe that? He is going to look so good...I mean don't get me wrong he looks amazing now!" Yoongi gets a big smile on his face just thinking about it.

"Do you have a thing for blondes? Did you love Jin too"

"Why do you keep asking if I have liked other guys there is too much drama with Taehyung and Jungkook we can't have more relationship problems"

"So you're having problems"

Yoongi groans and Nmajoon smiles because he knows he has annoyed Yoongi.

"I'm only kidding"

"We are happily together"

Namjoon and Yoongi sit in silence as Yoongi daydreams about his boyfriend.

Back in the cafeteria Taehyung has started eating and Jungkook is just smiling as he watches him eat.

"I-I can feel you looking at me" Taehyung says in a monotone voice.

Jungkook doesn't even bother answering because Taehyung isn't even looking at him but he doesn't mind.

The bell rings signaling the end of lunch and students make their way into the crowded hallways and classrooms. Jaehyun sneaks up behind Taehyung and Jungkook and puts his arms around them as they pass through the door frame.

"We should all go to that new café down the street..." Jaehyun says then he stops talking and notices Yoongi and Namjoon listening "they can come to, today after class" he leaves no room for a no to be said and his grip on Taehyung's shoulder makes Taehyung know that he can't say no even though he wanted to.

Class ends and although Yoongi's protest whispers are heard by everyone they continue walking.

"Where are we even going?" Yoongi asks and Jaehyun tells him and he looks over at Namjoon."The new cafe" Yoongi repeats Jaehyun's words knowing well that it is most likely Jimin's.

I cant believe you're okay with this Jungkook signs and Taehyung just lifelessly nods his head in response.

They all sit down at a table and Namjoon volunteers to go order their drinks. Sanha smiles brightly at him, his school uniform still on as he stands behind the counter.

"Should I get Jimin for Yoongi he seems down" Sanha suggests as he uses caramel to draw criss cross lines onto the top of Taehyung's caramel macchiato.

"Do you think it would make him feel better?" Namjoon asks and Sanha smiles

"I think so, Hoseok will bring the rest of your drinks to the table, I'll get Jimin" Sanha says and he carefully passes Namjoon, Taehyung's drink. "Hoseok?" Namjoon questions out loud the name sounding familiar.

A few minutes later the orange haired boy appears and puts the drinks on the table.

"Hoseok?" Taehyung says in surprise.

"Taehyung!"

"Why didn't you tell me you were in town?" Taehyung gets up and hugs Hoseok. Taehyung's mood obviously went up which is apparent in the bright smile on his face as they get out of their hug I need to go back to work Hoseok signs in his very limited sign language. Taehyung signs an okay in response surprised that Hoseok had learned some sign.

Everyone starts drinking their drinks in a semi awkward silence.

"Yoongi?" Yoongi looks up and smiles at Jimin, his savior from the awkwardness or so he thought.

"Jimin?" Jaehyun asks and Yoongi's smile disappears, his eyes on Jaehyun, his arms loosely around his boyfriend's waist and his feet firmly on the ground.

"Jaehyun hey, haven't seen you in years" Jimin says with a smile and Yoongi feels a sense of betrayal.

"Happily together" Namjoon whispers into Yoongi's ear. Yoongi takes his arms off of Jimin and puts them around his warm coffee mug. As he lightly shakes it the latte art heart design on top of his latte breaks just like his real heart.

"So Yoongi is he still a good kisser" Jaehyun asks and Yoongi says "mhm" as an answer before he goes to drip a gulp of his drink.

"So you guys know each other?" Namjoon hesitantly asks as Jimin pulls up a chair to the table besides Yoongi.

"You can say that" Jimin says

"We used to be friends" Jaehyun says

Jimin notices how tense Yoongi looks and puts his hand on his leg trying to comfort him but in response Yoongi just brushes his hand off.

The door opens and Eunwoo walks inside, he smiles all the way to his eyes.

"Hyung!" Sanha says happily and he removes his apron.

"I'll see you again later" he says and Eunwoo nods knowing that Sanha is now off of his shift and off to his second job.

"He is such a hard worker isn't he" Eunwoo says as he approaches Jimin.

"He really is I told him he didn't have to keep that other job but he insisted"

Eunwoo sighs "What can you do about him" he says before making his way to the back room to grab his apron.

"you're always surrounded by pretty boys" Jaehyun says almost as if he is reading Yoongi's thoughts...Yoongi looks down uncomfortable remembering the time Jaehyun and him were in the hospital bathroom together and he was called ugly. He never really cared about his looks or thought much of it. But now he is feeling self conscious is he the only non pretty boy in Jimin's life? Is he a pretty boy? He starts overthinking to himself until Namjoon taps his arm, he looks over at him.

"do you want to leave" Namjoon mouths and Yoongi nods his head yes.

"Yoongi and I have to go I promised I'd help him with math" Namjoon says and he quickly finishes his drink.

"I'll talk to you later" Jimin says giving Yoongi a small peck on the cheek before Yoongi gets up and follows Namjoon out. As soon as they turn the block Yoongi's legs start giving out and he finds himself on his knees on the dirty sidewalk next to dried up gum. He starts crying then the crying turns to weeping. Namjoon squats down and puts his arms around Yoongi pulling him close.

"Don't cry" Namjoon says while rubbing Yoongi's back. Namjoon had never been the one to comfort Yoongi he usually goes to get Jungkook or Taehyung lately has been there for him but the past week they have only really had each other so Namjoon tries his best not to freak out and calm Yoongi down.

Yoongi slowly calms down and grabs onto Namjoon's shirt.

"Do you want to talk about anything?" Namjoon asks softly

"Am I ugly? Am I too ugly for Jimin" Yoongi asks Namjoon lets out a small laugh

"W-why are you laughing at me" Yoongi starts crying softly again

"Because that is a stupid question, Jimin is crazy about you, you both are beautiful people" Namjoon says and he hugs Yoongi tighter.

"I think you need a change of clothes and maybe a shower" Namjoon says and he helps Yoongi up to his feet.

"Are you saying I smell?" Yoongi asks as he uses his sleeve to clean his nose.

"no I'm saying you were kneeling near gum and who knows what may have crawled on you"

Yoongi playfully hits him.

Back at the café Jimin is picking up the empty mugs Yoongi and Namjoon left behind.

"Don't tell me you're the Jaehyun who beat up my boyfriend" Jimin says not even looking at who is standing behind him as he puts the mugs onto of the glass counter where you can see lots of cookies underneath.

"That may have been me" Jimin turns around to face him.

"Don't you dare touch him ever again, I don't know what you've been up to or what you are doing but don't you dare" 

Eunwoo from the other side of the counter takes the dirty mugs.

"I promise I'm not like that anymore" Jaehyun says

"Good" Jimin says harshly

"I thought you'd be happy to see me when we met again" Jaehyun says

"I would have been until I realized Yoongi wasn't "

"He seemed fine to me"

"You don't know him like I do" Jimin says, "But it ..It was nice seeing you" he adds with a slight smile at his old friend.

"Now thats the Jimin I know" Jaehyun gives him a hug before going back to his table. Jimin shivers and feels like he needs to wash Jaehyun's hug off of his clothes and skin. Theres only two things he is thankful to Jaehyun for.

If it wasn't for his horrible action on Yoongi and Taehyung, Yoongi would have never gone to Jimin's restaurant with bruises and looking like a mess and they never would have thought, met or connected like they did.

And the only other thing he is thankful to Jaehyun for was durning his last week of school..Sadness hit him, his friend had died and he was at a low, his eyes were red from hours of secretly crying. Jimin walked out of the school bathroom and Jaehyun saw him and made a joke "Never thought you'd do drugs" he said and Jimin just rolled his eyes.

"Very funny" he said and Jaehyun walked with him and talked through everything with him before telling him, "You can do this, the future is wide open, the world is waiting for you, you can lose the tough act once in a while... The world is more accepting than it seems, trust me, I know I'm new to this school only in my first year I may not know much..But trust me I know this" is what Jaehyun told Jimin. Those are the only two things he is thankful to him for.

Jimin takes a piece of blueberry pie and puts it in a to go box to take home to Yoongi later, knowing well it is what he will need.
