Now gather around queenies, and make sure your cup o' tea is still hot for a Q&A session. I received a lot of questions (looks mainly at Lyss), so I combined some and chose the most relevant ones to answer.

1. What made you get into graphic design?
Before I never used to pay attention to covers, because as the saying goes "don't judge a book by its cover." However, once I actually started noticing all the covers on Wattpad, the creativity just amazed me. I've always been interested in anything artistic. I always watch tutorials on YT, but I always kept that mindset that I just haven't got the talent or ability that other artists have. And so I never actually tried it out. Hence, coming across the plethora of covers by awesome designers on Wattpad motivated me to actually try it out for once.

2. Who are your favourite graphic designers?
My top 3 are onederstruck-, RosyKun and seventhstar. I aspire to be as good as them, because their skills are just out of this world. My top graphics are from them.

3. Where do you get your inspiration?
When I first became interested in graphic designing, the first people who inspired me were repulsify and Jells_. Their graphic books were the first ones I added to my library and I was especially grateful for the former's graphic book because they included tutorials that helped me understand how to use certain tools and create effects. This was when I was using Gimp to design covers. They were very encouraging and always preached that your skills shouldn't be restricted to what software or apps you use, it's all about your talent as a designer.

4. What's your advice for new graphic designers?
Keep a positive attitude toward your work. Accept that your work will be crap in the beginning-trust me, we all go through it-but progression will happen. Interact with other designers; it's important to support other designers as we are all a part of a diverse graphic community on Wattpad. If you ever need help, ask more experienced designers for advice (some may be willing to help), watch youtube tutorials, ask Uncle Google, etc.

5. Any plans on setting up your own graphics shop?
I have a lot going on right now. I'm content with only joining contests and once in a while taking requests from TTT. Hopefully, next year I'll be more available so that may be a possibility. I need to expand my portfolio anyway.

6. Do you plan on ever charging people money for your graphics?
Maybe. It may be a possibility once I'm confident enough in my skills, comfortable with my style and have gained a tight grip on my time management. I don't want to take people's money if I feel it's just average or above average, I want to look at my graphics and think "I would 100% buy this." But I'm not on that level as of right now. Slowly getting there.

7. Will you ever get back to writing?
Yes, though I can't say for sure when that will be. My writing is not phenomenal, but I am tired of seeing the same cliche stories on Wattpad these days, so I want to come up with something fresh and different. I do have a story in the works, but I put it on hold so I could solely focus on designing. I will resume sometime in the future. Obviously, the genre of my story is Mystery/Thriller lol.

9. How old are you and where are you from?
I'm 18 years young. Born and raised in Norway and a few years in the UK, though ethnically Tanzanian.

10. Plans for the future, in terms of university and dream job?
I'm taking a gap year at the moment, which I'm grateful for. However, I plan on studying next year. Initially, I was planning on doing something science-related. However, I'm now open to other things like maybe pursuing a career in marketing, graphic designing (or UX/UI Designing), or a combination. These have piqued my interest lately. I want to do something I'm passionate about, something I'll be looking forward to when I wake up every day. While medicine was one of those things that interested me, I've heard from friends that it's very intense and can be quite draining if you lack the motivation. So I'm considering all options, not ruling anything out yet. I'm still researching since I got time until I actually have to pick universities/studies next year, but I know I want to study in any of the Scandinavian countries. I'm mostly leaning towards Denmark though.

11. Who are your friends on Wattpad?
Mostly, the peeps on the shoutout list in my intro (which I updated btw, so go check it out if you didn't get the notif).

12. Favourite movie?
I don't have a favourite, but I am obsessed with MCU movies. If I had to pick out of those it'd be Black Panther. Wakanda forever!

13. Favourite book?
Got many faves, but currently, it'd have to be Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie. After watching the movie trailer, I decided to read the book first and I absolutely loved it. If y'all have any favourites, drop em down in-line.

14. Favorite Singer/Band?
Ruelle and Chris Brown. Quite polar opposites lol, but I tend to like all the songs they release. Most of the other signers, I pick and choose. I don't listen to bands, mostly solo artists for me.

15. Do you have any pets?
No, unfortunately. My mum isn't a fan of keeping pets in general, so I've never had the chance to get one. When I move out sometime in the future, I'm definitely getting a cat.

16. Introvert or Extrovert?
Extroverted introvert. Yes, that's a thing. Irl if I don't really have anything in common with a group of people, I won't even bother with idle talk, however, if they're the type of people I'd click with then I'd put in the effort. So I am selectively social.

17. Disney remakes or original?
Original. But The Lion King remake was decent.

18. If you had a chance to actually BE one character from Riverdale for a whole day, who would you wanna be and why?
Hmm I had to think about this for a while. Before, I would've said Cheryl but I feel they definitely ruined her character in S4, so I don't get the same vibe from her. Therefore, I ultimately went with Alice Cooper. She is just one of my favourites because I love her development throughout the series. She used to be very judgmental and self-righteous at the beginning of the series, but now she's more chill. Though, her sassiness is still as lively as ever, but I just love that side of her personality because I can relate. She's also finally embraced her Southside roots and isn't interfering with Betty's relationships as much. I actually thought they ruined her character in S3, but it turned out she was working undercover for the FBI. What a relieving plot twist, because the Farm was actually doing the most. And I absolutely ship Falice, so if I was Alice for a day, then hell yeah I'd love that! FP is such a shnack lol.
