This is the second part of our mini collab series. When I initially recieved the base, I have to say I was a little unmotivated. Being as this was my first time doing the finishing touch in a collab, I didn't know how or where to begin. I didn't know the standard when it came to doing a finishing touch; Is the goal to enhance certain features, add some new elements or just change the design completely? I did have to investigate a little by looking at other collabs to gain some more knowledge on this. What I learned was there was many different ways people approached it, hence I realised that I had to develop my own preferred style. After a few days of contemplating and looking for inspiration, I came up with this piece.

Pre-editing, I did a bit of an analysis of the base so I could figure out a way to approach it. The MC had an alluring quality to her, her body language screams "I am innocent", yet her face reveals something else entirely-something more sinister lurks beneath her innocent outer appearance. That is how I came up with the title and subtitle. In addition, I added an archway in the background to compliment the title and set the dark and mysterious tone. Seeing as the MC's face was pale and flat, I did use the burn tool to bring some colour to her face, as well as the smudge tool to create a nice transition. I also brightened her eyes and defined her lips While the edits were not too dramatic, they did well to make her features pop out more against the dark theme. I also worked on the outer glow of the MC which does well to enhance her as the focal point. And yes, enchanta-, I did use your tip of adding a grey layer ontop of the MC to highlight the edges. Are you proud of me? Lol.

Hemingways, I didn't really want to add too much stuff; I kept the design clean, simple, yet captivating enough to reel in a viewer. I hope I managed to accomplish that.
