Chapter 3: Reunion

A/N: Before we begin I wanna say thank you to my fiancee for helping me out. There will be words that are in a different language I did put the translations at the end of the story if anyone needs it. So without further ado enjoy the chapter and leave a like and comment.

Racheal p.o.v:

We get backstage as the show goes into a commercial break and once we get there, I see Chris talking with Tony, likely him explaining how this came to be and why he wasn't made aware that it was us. He had a wide grin as they spoke, which made me smile as well. Then, he turned and noticed me, and then his grin only got even bigger. I practically jogged to him while he held his arms out for me. He laughs with joy as I crash into his embrace.

I hear Ben explaining to Action and Tony mine and Chris's relationship; as I bury my face into his chest.

I looked up at Chris and asked.

"Are you okay?" I asked with concern laced into my voice. "I didn't go too far, did I?"

He laughed a little.

"I am okay, Mini Lionne," he answered with a smile, "You were great out there."

I giggled and blushed.

"Besides, don't forget some of the other matches I've been through," he noted and I giggled again.

"Well, thank you. It's great to see you again, Mon Loup."

"You too, sweetie," he said while rubbing my shoulder.

"Although I must say, it is different seeing you in person with long hair now," I informed, given that he always had short hair back when I knew him.

"What, you don't like it?" He laughingly grinned.

"No, no," I laughed. "Honestly, you're one of the few who can easily pull off both."

He did a slight bow in gratitude and I giggled again before Ben came to join us.

"Iron Angel!" Chris cheered.

"Y2J!" Ben cheered back before they shared a little bro hug. "Great to see you again, man!"

"You too, kid. Welcome to AEW!"

"Thanks, man. You're looking great!" Ben complimented.

"Yeah, you two aren't looking bad yourselves," he grinned. "Can't wait to see what you do tonight!"

"Hell yeah!" I clapped excitedly.

"We finally get to square off in the ring after all, eh bud?" Ben excitedly asked and received a fist bump from Chris.

We had talked about wanting to work together before in WWE; but sadly, Chris had already left before we made it to the main roster. We understood why he had to though and now that we're all back together, I think we can agree things turned out for the best.

"Hey, guys!" We heard another voice say and turned to see Renee approach.

We both happily cheered as she gave both of us a hug.

"We are about to have an interview with you four about the match," she informed us.

"Oh yeah, sure," Ben replied. "Let's go ahead and get that over with."

"Alright, we'll catch up more before the match," I told Chris.

"No problem, see ya later," he nodded.

I watched him leave with a smile on my face.

We all then got to the interview room and in the correct positions with Renee.

"And this will be pre-recorded, right?" I needed to ask.

"Right, won't be officially shown until before the match," Renee answered.

We waited for the camera people to get properly set up before giving us the signal.

"Three... two... one..." He points to Renee, giving her her cue.

"Thank you, guys! I'm here with Absolute Ricky Starks, Action Andretti, and the shocking newcomers: Daniel Dalton and Racheal Moonster. Racheal, Daniel, welcome to Dynamite on behalf of the All Elite Family here, but what compelled you both to target JAS and assist Ricky Starks?"

Ben was the one to answer.

"Well, as my sis said earlier, we knew as soon as we jumped on the scene, that it would only be a matter of time before they tried to stop our momentum just like they've been doing to these two here. We simply had the smarts to strike first; and personally, we happen to be fans of these guys."

He gestured to Ricky and Action, who both smiled before I spoke next.

"We've already suffered from the likes of pathetic, power-hungry jackasses who tried to steal our futures away. We're not going to endure that here, nor are we going to allow that to happen to anyone else, especially these two amazing talents; and JAS? If you think we don't pose a threat to you, then just ask your glorious leader. He mentored us LONG before he knew most of you, and we know him much better than the rest of you ever could."

I mischievously grinned before Ben continued it.

"That we do, and it is truly heartbreaking seeing what you've turned into Chris. I mean, it's one thing to take on some new prodigies, but needing them to kiss your ass to feel like your still the name? *takes in a breath through his teeth* Tragic...."

"But don't worry, Chris. We're good at dealing with tragedies. We've made our careers by putting them in their place. As our old mentor, you know this better than anyone. More importantly, you know if ANYONE can put you in your place, it's us right here."

I had the most evil grin I could form as our other two teammates for tonight kept their grins as well.

"And Action, Ricky, your thoughts on the match tonight against JAS with Dalton and Moonster by your side?" Renee asked.

Starks spoke up.

"Well, first off, allow me to express my gratitude on behalf of myself and Action Andretti here for what you two are doing for us. It's always great to see some more fellow young guns here to help AEW grow; and in answer to your question Renee, Jericho and his cheerleaders may be the number one faction in pro wrestling today; but if you look between the four of us, you'll be looking at the four hottest rising young studs in professional wrestling today! And tonight, the Jobbers Appreciation Society is gonna learn the hard way to NEVER stand in our way again!"

"Best of luck to the four of you in your main event match tonight. Back to you gentlemen."

They signal the cameras are off and we start chatting amongst ourselves, catching up with Renee while getting to know our partners for tonight. It was great getting to see and work with her again as well. We had missed her and her husband a lot. Ricky and Action were really nice too. We could tell we would get along with them greatly.

Once Renee had to leave.
Me, Ben, our two tag team partners went to meet back up with Chris and his group. We caught up with all of JAS in a separate hallway nearby. Chris was ecstatic to officially introduce us to his group. It was so fun seeing his child-like side resurface again.

"Mini Lionne, Ben," he cries out happily. "Come meet the crew."

We walk over with smiles as he begins introducing us to everyone.

"I believe you both remember Jake?"

"Well enough," Ben nodded. "Good to see you again, big man."

"Good to see y'all too. You've grown up a lot," Jake replied as we shook hands with him.

"Thank you," I nodded.

"And I can't remember if you two ever met Matt and Angelo back in NXT?" Chris questioned.

"We saw 'em around a little, but never really met them," I answered.

"Well, it's good to actually meet you both now," Angelo answered.

"Same for me," Matt added as we shook their heads.

"And of course, my good friend, Sammy Guevara."

"Yes! I've been waiting to officially meet you man," Ben grinned. "Believe it or not, I was actually a follower of yours for a few years before you were in AEW."

"Really?" He asked in surprise.

"Yeah, thanks to your pal, Fuego Del Sol's old channel, I caught wind of you through him."

"Oh my God, that is awesome man!" Sammy laughed in disbelief. "I'm glad you were along for the ride. I can't wait to tell Fuego about this."

"Hey, I'm a fan too," I interjected. "Your work is amazing and Chris has told me so much about you."

"Likewise, we can hardly get him to shut up about you half the time," Sammy noted and the JAS laughed as Chris averted his eyes in embarrassment.

It was then that I could hear Ben humming the song, It's Tough To Be A God.

"Will you shut the fuck up?" I asked annoyed as I looked at my brother.

"Nope," he laughed and kept humming.

"I beg one of you when you are in the ring with this dude, please beat his skinny ass. I will let you," I begged.

Everyone chuckled.

"Wait, do you not like that song," Ricky asked.

"Not when he's singing it!" I almost laughed.

"I'm not singing it, I'm humming it," he replied before continuing his humming, which turned into laughs when I started slapping his arm.

"OK, we need some further context on this," Ricky noted through laughs.

"It's 'cause of him," I said as I pointed to Sammy, who looked confused and surprised. "I made a joke on the part of the song called 'It's Tough to be a God' from The Road To El Dorado; you are known as the Spanish God. So, then, I just came up with 'It's tough to be a Spanish God'."

The others laughed at the realization while I continued narrowing my eyes at Ben.

"In your defense, it is though," Sammy added and we laughed.

"Anyway, these are the ladies, Tay and Anna," Chris continued to introduce.

"He's told us a lot about you too," Anna stated and we all laughed.

"Seriously though, we love your work," Tay added.

"Thank you, and you both are really pretty," I replied and they both awed and thanked me in return.

"And last but not least, Daniel Garcia," Chris finished.

Daniel smiled as he approached us and shook our hands.

"It's great to meet you both," he stated.

"Same to you. You have great grappling skills," I complimented and he smiled.

"Thanks, so do you."

"It's gonna be great working with you, man. You're really talented" Ben followed, receiving a thank you of his own.

"Thanks, that means a lot. I'm really excited to work with you both."

"Same here, and I love your dancing skills too," I confessed to Daniel and he laughed.

"Yeah, I don't mean to brag, but I've gotten pretty slick with my moves," he states before busting out his moves.

3rd person:

Daniel was doing his dance moves toward Racheal. Everyone was laughing including Racheal, but no one seemed to notice Chris, who laughed a little but had a look in his eye. A certain glint in his eyes from seeing her interact with the rest of his prodigies. It made him so happy that she got along with them. It was special as well to see his students all getting along so well like a big family. Of course, he was just happy to see her again altogether.

"By the way, I love your teeth too. That's really sick," Daniel mentioned after the dance party came to a close.

"Oh, thank you," she laughed with a slight blush as she took off her face mask so that they could get a better look if they wanted to.

"Wow, those are awesome!" Tay complimented. "I honestly wasn't sure if those were real or not."

"Yeah, they're real. I had 'em custom-made, too."

"You know, I've never actually seen them in person before," Chris stated as he approached her. "May I?"

"Of course," she nodded.

Chris brought up a hand under her chin to lift her face a bit. She grinned to show off her teeth to him, her heart beating a little from his gentle touch.

"Oh my God, those are amazing, considering what you had to go through to get 'em," Chris admired.

"Yeah, but it was worth it in the end," she replied while still showing them off.

She loved that he finally got to see them, having waited a long time to show them in person.

They seem to be almost in their own little world. Racheal looked up at Chris's pretty blue eyes, which she seemed to get lost in every time. Chris also went from admiring her fangs to staring into her eyes. They seemed to forget there were other people around them and stayed quiet like that for a moment.

"They're very pretty too," Chris added after a moment, earning a cute smile from her.

That seemed to be when Chris realized what he was doing, withdrawing his hand and taking a step back. Secretly, both wished that moment could have lasted longer.

He cleared his throat as he tried to hide his blush as he stepped back. Sammy smirked understanding what happened; knowing his secret.

"Do you want me to show you around?" He asked looking at Racheal.

"Wait, just her? What about me?" Ben questioned.

They both ignored him as she nodded with a smile. Chris smiled happy that she accepted, he missed her so much. He always enjoyed hanging with her.

He hated that he left her behind, it was the only thing he regretted. At the time she was doing so well in NXT, that he didn't want to be an asshole and make her give up all of her accomplishments. He wished he did though, but the past is the past and she is here now and he couldn't be more than happy.

He put an arm over her shoulders as they started walking, ignoring everyone as they watched them leave.

"Rude!!!" Ben called out to them, but still no response from them, but did get some laughs from everyone else.

"That was odd," Action commented.

"Yeah, but.... shouldn't be surprised," Ben noted. "Back when he had us under his wing if she wasn't with me, she was with him. That's how special their bond is. So, given how long it's been since they've seen each other, yeah no surprise whatsoever."

The others giggled and found it cute how they were.

"But anyway, how 'bout we talk about the match tonight?" Ben suggested and everyone agreed.

While they talk about the match and get to know one another, Racheal and Chris both walk through the halls, talking and showing her around and meeting other people of old and new. Everyone who knew her was very happy she was finally there. They hoped to catch up later. At some point, Racheal took off the sweater cause she was getting hot. Chris helped her out, holding her ears for her and putting them back in after she got the sweater off and around her waist.

He expresses how he loves that she wore his merch. She giggles and blushes. He loved hearing her laugh, it was always music to his ears.

"So, where are you staying at?" He asks as they continue walking the halls.

"With Ben and our folks at their house here."

"And how are they doing?"

"Great as always. Da wanted me to tell you hi, too."

Chris chuckled at that.

"Yeah, I miss working for him. He was always fun," he smiled. "And how have you been?"

"I've been good, much happier since parting ways with the last company."

"I know what that's like, but I know it couldn't have been easy for you either."

Racheal dryly smirked.

"I do have some regrets, but it was for the best. I think it was harder for Ben, though, leaving Lexi and all; but even so, I can tell he's happier here, too."

Chris nodded with understanding.

"I know how he feels. I hated having to leave behind some of the people I did, especially you."

She blushed.

"It did suck when you left," she said, "but now we are in the same company again and we can make up for lost time."

Chris just smiled at her adorableness. He pulled her into a hug. He looked around before giving her a peck on the cheek.

He giggles when she blushes.

"You're adorable," Chris complimented.

She blushed more as she buried her face into his chest.

"I missed you so much," Chris says as he lays his head on hers. "I can't believe you are here. I honestly fear that this is all a dream and I would wake up at any minute."

"Do you want me to pinch you?" She asks with a giggle as she looks up at him.

"I think I'll pass," he says with a raised eyebrow and they both laugh.

They stayed in the embrace for a while longer enjoying being together again, both didn't want to leave each other's arms.

"As much as I hate to stop this," Chris sighed, "we might wanna head back soon."

Racheal whined when they started to pull apart.

"I know, I know," he says as he strokes her cheek, "but you better believe that we are gonna hang out more often, and go to the carnival like we used to."

Racheal smiled, reminiscing when they hung out and went to carnivals that were in town. Playing games, riding rides, and eating junk food.

"I also know the Fozzy crew misses you as well," he added with a smile.

She giggles.

"I miss them, too," she stated with a small smile.

"I bet," he laughs. "They keep bugging me about you."

She giggles more.

Chris can never get over how her giggles sound; he always loves making her giggle and laugh.

"I miss them too," she says. "They are fun to hang around with."

He smiles.

"Let's start heading back and see what the others are doing," he says offering his arm to her.

"Yeah but could I get a piggyback ride, please?" She asked as she gave him the puppy dog eyes.

"You know," he looks down at her with a smile and hands on his hips, "You don't have to do that, Mini Lionne; I would do it anyway."

They both laughed as he lowered himself into position for her to get on. She cheers before she gets on him. He made sure she was good before he stood back up. She laid her head on his back, as he started walking. Chris just smiled the whole way back.

They didn't talk the whole walk. They just enjoyed each other's presence. They searched for their friends, looking everywhere for them.

They found them in the catering, eating already. Ben looked up and saw them coming. He laughed as he saw Chris giving his sister a piggyback. Everyone else looked at him confused, he gestured toward them; they turned and looked. They too started laughing a bit.

Racheal stomach growled and she blushed. Chris laughed as he felt and heard it. He put her down gently.

"Why don't you sit and I get it for you?" He asked with hope in his voice.

"You don't need to do that Chris I can do it," she giggles.

He shook his head.

"No, please, I insist," he requested. "Besides, I know what you like."

"True," she agreed, "I ain't picky like that one is."

She gestures to her brother, who took offense to it.

"Hey!" he griped.

They both laughed before Chris went to get her food and Racheal took her seat next to Ben.

"How nice of you to rejoin us," Ben poked at her with slight irritation.

"It's not like anything was stopping you from joining us," she retorted.

"Oh, yeah, 'cause you two clearly left the door wide open for me; and you seriously had him carry you here?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Again no one stopped you from following us," Racheal replied, "and to answer your question, what's the big deal? You know I love those. You give them to me all the time."

"Yeah, but I'm not in my fifties with decades worth of battle wounds."

"Oh stop it. He's not that old and he's in great shape for a guy his age," Racheal argued, but Ben grew a cheeky smirk.

"Yeah, but you're kinda heavy."

That made her drop the smile and narrow her eyes before she started slapping at him. Ben just laughed as he brought up his arms to defend himself.

"You. Know. How. I. Feel. About. That!" She said with each slap.

"I'm sorry!" He yells while trying to defend himself still. "I saw the opportunity and couldn't resist."

"Uh-huh, sure you couldn't you asshat!" She quit slapping but still glared at him.

"Don't worry, this is normal for us," Ben informed the others at the table as they laughed.

"Well, it's nice to see you two haven't changed," Chris jokingly smirked as he returned with a plate for Racheal.

"He/She started it," both said at the same time as they pointed to each other.

"Me," they spoke again at the same time, "no, you."

Everyone just laughed.

Chris just shook his head and laughed a bit.

He gently placed Racheal's plate in front of her along with his own; it was one of her favorites, spaghetti.

"Ooooo, I thought I smelled Italian," Racheal hummed with her mouth already watering. "Thanks, Chris."

Jericho smiled before sitting next to her.

"I knew you'd have that," Ben laughed. "I got the same thing."

"Uh, except mine's with real Italian sauce. I'm not a Plain Jane like you are," Racheal poked fun at him while doing that Italian chef hand gesture.

"Excuse me! Mine has Italian butter and Alfredo sauce, which is yummier than any of that tomato-y shit; and since I'm not the one with fangs, I got to add shrimp with mine. So, hehe hehe," he chuckled like a troll before sticking his tongue out at her, earning a tongue and a middle finger with a claw on it from his sister.

"Is it always this entertaining with these two?" Sammy asked Jericho.

"Like a daily Saturday night special," he chuckled.

"You best be glad I am hungry," Racheal says as she takes off her claws then under her breath says, "Puto gilipollas."

"Woah! Hahaha!" Sammy laughed, having understood what she said along with Tay, and Ben and Racheal grinned. "So, you spoke speak some Spanish, huh?"

"We both do; each speaks some different stuff," Ben answered since Racheal had a mouthful of pasta.

"What else can you guys speak?" Ricky asked.

Racheal finished what's in her mouth and wiped it before speaking.

"I can speak Spanish in both Puerto Rico and Mexican dialects, French, and Italian, and I know American sign language."

She signs American sign language as she speaks it.

Everyone, besides Chris, seems impressed.

"That's a lot of languages. How do you know all those?" Daniel asked.

"Well, Italian because I grew up in New York, French because of him *points to Chris*; the Mysterios, Priest, and Bad Bunny all taught us the different types of Spanish and we learned ASL while we were still in high school."

"Wow, that's impressive!" Angelo replied.

"I'll say," Matt followed; "and I'm guessing you've learned the same?" He asked Ben.

"Pretty much, only replace Italian with Japanese and Thai. I love Asian culture." The others chuckled. "And I've also planned on learning some Nordic-type language and she has an interest in Samoan too. So yeah, we're pretty well diverse in the dialect world."

Chris looked at them with admiration as everyone else looked astounded. He always admired the number of talents they possessed and loved to see and hear about everything they could do.

"Anything else you guys can do?" Anna asked and Ben answered.

"Well, we both love to race dirt bikes here and there; we both study some different martial arts and fighting techniques; we're both big gamers; and I also love to write and play Yu-Gi-Oh."

"Nice!" Sammy replied. "Any other anime for you two?"

"Oh yeah, we watch plenty, especially Pokémon for her," He nodded to Racheal as she ate, earning a giggle from her.

"How 'bout DragonBall Z?" Sammy asked again and Ben perked up.

"Oh hell yeah!"

They shared a high-five and Racheal rolled her eyes.

"Oh dear God," she said with a mouthful.

"I knew they would get along with each other," Chris smirked before Racheal swallowed.

"Yeah, that's what worries me now."

Chris laughed.

"What about you Racheal?" Anne asked. "What else do you like to do besides wrestling?"

"Uh....." She trailed off, starting to feel a bit uncomfortable and self-conscious. "Not a whole lot, that's pretty much it."

"Wha- that's not true," Chris replied with slight shock and confusion.

"I was about to say..." Ben added.

"She's a mean cook for starters, and I'm talking all different sorts of shit, and you should see her play a guitar and drums."

"Ok, I can play drums, but not that well," she noted.

"Well, not yet, but you'll get there," Chris assured. "You guys should also see everything she does for animals, too."

"Awww," a good portion of the table replied.

"Well, I don't like to brag about that stuff," she admitted.

"Yeah, she doesn't really like to brag about anything, to be honest," Ben added, "but she is great at what she does."

"That she is," Chris agreed with a proud smirk, causing her to blush again.

They continued eating and hanging out, chatting about what they could, including the match, until it was main event time. They headed for Gorilla after being informed by a producer before Racheal needed help getting the sweater back on. Then, before everyone went their separate ways, Racheal wanted to inform her opponents about something.

"Oh, and guys? Just to let you know, you are going out first and there's a reason for it," she teased with a promising look. "It'll make sense once you're all out there. Just be on the lookout when you are."

The faction all glanced at each other with intrigue before Chris responded.

"Ok then, we'll see you out there."

Racheal grins before she and her team go where they are needed, Chris smiling as he watches her. However, Racheal is guided in a separate direction given that her entrance will be a little different than the others. This won't be their tag team entrance again. Instead, they'll be getting to show off their individual entrances, which look to be quite badass.

"Ladies and gentlemen!!! This is your Main Event of the evening! And it is an 8-person mixed tag team match scheduled for one fall!!!" Justin Roberts announced as the arena came back alive with this upcoming match.

https://youtu.be/lqURPBtGJzg

The JAS made their entrance first as planned with Jericho at the front, not looking pleased at all as their pyro fired and Justin Roberts continued.

"Introducing first, representing the Jericho Appreciation Society! The Spanish God Sammy Guevara, Tay Melo, Daniel Garcia, and the Lionheart! Chris! Jerichooooooo!!!!"

"As you can see, Chris Jericho is still without his bat, which was taken at the beginning of the show by the newly arrived Racheal Moonster alongside Daniel Dalton," Excalibur spoke and was followed by Tony Schiavone.

"That bat is of great significance to the Ocho and you better believe Chris Jericho will be on a mission to retrieve what's his and put an end to the two youngsters who have crossed him."

Then Taz followed.

"Man, Jericho is so irate over two former students of his crashing in here, getting involved in his business, and snatching up his property, he doesn't even seem to really care that everyone is singing his song right now, and we all know how special that is for him."

It was true as Jericho appeared to remain stoic and ready for a fight through the entire entrance, even as he glanced around the room.

"And to your earlier point Taz, Dalton, and Moonster are, in fact, former protégés of Jericho as she talked about earlier herself. He was one of the first to take them under his wing when they started hitting the big leagues and they were a tight unit; but clearly, a lot has changed since then and they are far from seeing eye to eye with each other." Excalibur stated.

The JAS all stood in the ring as their song came to a close, the audience vocalizing the final notes. Then, it was time for their opponents to arrive.

https://youtu.be/AhGgEH98noA

The lights go out as Daniel's new music starts to play. Just seconds later and as the song kicks into high gear, a spotlight shines on the stage, revealing the Iron Angel with his back to the audience. He slowly raises his arms like rising wings as pyro begins shooting from the stage. Then, right before the lyrics kick in, Dalton turns with a punch through the air, a final spark emitting before the lights return. Daniel is all smiles as observes the crowd again before walking down the ramp.

"And their opponents, from Fort Worth Texas! Weighing 188 pounds, THE IROOOON AAAANGELLLLLL! DAAAAANIELLLL DAAAAAAALLLTOOOON!!!!!!"

He greets many of the front-row fans before he stops midway down the ramp and stares down JAS. A brief moment later, he glances back with an arm out, as if gesturing for someone in a welcoming manner.

Then, Racheal's new theme hits.

https://youtu.be/dusPBwR8MWM

Chris once again grew shocked as another one of his songs was being used. Another light shined on the stage as fog began rising. With it, the White Wolf herself with her back to the audience and the bat on her shoulder. Once she was fully risen, she glanced over her shoulder with a wide crazy grin. The light they used made her look all the more menacing. She points the stolen bat towards JAS for a moment before making her way down the ramp.

"And his tag team partner, from Brighton, England! The White Wolf, RACHEALLLLLL MOOOOOONNNSTER!!!!"

She swings the bat around in her usual playful way but isn't as playful as she usually is. In fact, there's a slightly serious tone about her now, making her all the more menacing. She never dropped that frightening grin though, never growing any less frightening. She also does some of the hand gestures Chris did in the song's music video, loving the look he had on his face as she continued with every movement. Plus, during the "SANE" part of the song, she would raise her arms, still with the bat, and howl in an almost screaming fashion. She approaches her brother and high-fives him before they both enter the ring. They do their pose on separate corners, Daniel doing his wingspan pose while Racheal raises the bat with a howl. The JAS just continues to stare daggers at them the whole time.

Afterward, Ricky and Action make their entrances while beginning to remove her ears and mask. Once she removed the sweater, she gave it to a fan at ringside who seemed to be a great big Jerichoholic.

Now, the two teams stand across from each other, except for Racheal standing on top of her team's corner, both ready to do battle and prove which has the right to reign supreme in AEW. Racheal begins mocking her opponents, wondering if any of them wants to start the match off with her. Tay clearly wants to get her hands on her but is held back by her husband. The two teams decide who among them will start and with that, the bell sounds.

The main Event is underway!!!
