Chapter 2: Surprise Debut

Racheal p.o.v:

Tony then showed us our locker room for tonight. He gave us one that was in a private area, away from everyone else. He put a security guy to guard our door just in case. Also, let him know if we need anything.

We got prepared and asked the guy about the food for us. We both couldn't keep still, especially the closer and closer we got to the time, more so me than my brother. I was getting nervous. I'm getting to see my friends again after so long of not being able to see them as much as we are used to.

"Sis, you gotta sit down," Bubba said while on the couch and watching me pace. "I know you're nervous, I am too, but you're gonna put a hole in the ground with all that pacing you're doing."

"Sorry, I just hope everything goes to plan," I said with a hint of worry. "It's been a while since we have seen everyone; and we get to make a debut on a big event like the Holiday Bash and against a friend of ours, who mind you was a mentor as well, probably more so mine than was yours."

"I understand, Little Chomps, trust me, I do," Ben said. "I am excited that we get to see everyone again, especially Chris." He let out a chuckle. "He is my friend and mentor. Of course, I didn't hang out with him as much as you did, but he is still a good friend."

"He is that," I said with a smile.

I started to think of all the times we hung out together, both with friends and just the two of us. We had so much fun together.

I didn't realize I zoned out until I heard Ben calling my name repeatedly.

"Huh?" I said, confused as I snapped out of it.

"I was calling your name for a bit," he laughed. "Where did your mind wander to?"

"Oh, uh......" I started to say as my mind went blank and I started blushing.

Of course, he noticed and laughed.

"You ok?"

"Y-Yea, I'm - *clears throat* I'm fine, was just reminiscing." I managed, and he laughed again.

"I guess so, must've been quite the trip to memory lane," he grinned.

I nodded as I smiled.

"What was it?" He asked.

"Just of Chris and I having fun with you and the others; and also, all the adventures we had," I said. "Now that we are in the same company again, I hope we can do that again, including me and The Hardy Boyz getting together again."

"Yeah, me too," Ben smiled, reminiscing himself. "I miss all the stuff we used to do with them. It was a lot of fun; but now, we finally get to do all those again, and it may even be better."

"I hope so. It's bound to be now that we're here," Racheal smiled.

"Amen," Ben nodded. "I can already imagine the good times we'll be having here with all of our pals again."

"So can I, so long as no one else tries to start any horse shit here," I noted, and he laughingly grinned.

"Well, it certainly won't be like back at the last place. I can tell you that much," he promised before we heard a knock on our door.

He stood up to answer and was informed our food had arrived. He thanked the guard for letting us know before the people with our food entered.

"Let's eat!" He cheered, and I laughed.

We ate and made small talk. After we were finished, we watched TV while relaxing for the next few hours. We then started to get ready and change into our attires.

Ben's gear:

My gear:

I was in the bathroom trying to get my ears on, but I was struggling a bit.

"Hey, Bubba!" I yelled to Ben.

He sticks his head in, already dressed in his outfit, just needing his face paint.

"Could you help get the ears and tail on, please?"

I did my best puppy dog eyes that I know he can't resist.

"Chomps, you don't need to use puppy eyes on me. I was going to do it anyway," he laughs as he helps clip on my ears, making sure they are evenly spaced and positioned right.

"Thank you," I hugged him.

He hugs back.

"You're welcome," he said as he gave me a brotherly kiss on the head. "Now, let me clip on the tail."

He grabs the tail as I turn around so he can clip it onto my wrestling pants. I just smile at him.

"Thanks," I said to him.

"Welcome," he says back with a smile.

I took out my dentures when I had them taken out after a bad fight messed them up. Luckily, it's just the front part of my upper and lower teeth, and I had them customized. Two of my upper and two of my lower teeth are silver. I then grabbed my wolf fang dentures, which are silver, too.

I turned around and bared my fangs to Ben. He just laughed and shook his head. I turned around and put on my wolf skull mouth, which also has silver fangs as well. I looked at myself in the mirror and liked what I saw. I walked out of the bathroom right when there was a knock on the door.

"It's me, Tony," the muffled male voice said.

"Come in!" Ben said.

He opened the door and there was someone with him. It was a young woman around our age, with brunette hair down to her shoulders, slender, brown eyes with glasses, pasty white skin, a few tattoos, and a couple of inches taller than me.

Honestly, she is pretty cute.

"Benjamin, Racheal, this is Kim, one of our makeup artists," Tony informed. "She'll be helping you both with whatever you need, including face paint."

We both smiled as we shook hands and expressed our gratitude for the artist.

"I hope you don't mind me saying dis, but you have an adorable look," I complimented her, being used to speaking well enough with the fangs in, although still slightly challenging.

"Aww, thanks, but I'm not the one with the cute ears," she nodded towards my ears, which I giggled and blushed from, and she spoke with a real cool girl-like voice. "Woah, those are some killer fangs, too! You seriously got those?"

"Yeah, mainly for my character, but also 'cause... well, I'm sure you can imagine," I smirked.

"Hell yeah, those things are sick! I love the outfit, too," she continued to flatter, and I laughed again.

"Thank you, it's gonna be great having you along," I stated.

"I agree," Benjamin nodded with a smile.

"She's also studied videos on how to do your face paint and practiced a lot," Tony informed. "I think you'll be really impressed."

"Oh, I don't doubt it," Ben smirked.

"Oh, and speaking of clothes..." Tony brought out his other hand, which he had behind his back all this time while holding something. "Racheal, I believe this is the shirt you asked for?"

"Yes, thank you," I said, looking excited as I grabbed the sweatshirt.

"Why did you need that?" Ben asked confusingly.

"It's one of Chris's merch sweaters," I answered as I showed him, "I thought I wear it out there because why the hell not."

Everyone laughs.

"Wait, that means I hafta help with ears again," he says as he comes to the realization.

"Yup, it does," I giggled as I gave a big toothy grin. He let out a groan as I took off my mask and ears and gave them to Ben to hold; I then put on the sweater.

"Perfect," I said as I looked at it, "Now help me get the ears back in, please."

"Ugh, fine," he groans then smiles, "Just be glad you're my sister and that I love you."

"I love you too, Bubba," I said with a smile as he clipped my ears back.

"You look good Racheal," complimented Tony.

"You do, girl," agreed Kim

"Thank you," I replied with a smile and blush, luckily they couldn't see it.

"I agree with them but you are missing something, though," said Ben.

I looked at him confused.

"Your contacts?" Asked Ben with a raised eyebrow and a smirk.

My eyes went wide.

"Shit," I cursed, "thanks for reminding me, bro."

I went to my bag to grab my contacts and went to the bathroom to put them in.

"Alright, I am going to head out and take care of things, and don't hesitate to let me know if y'all need anything until then good luck tonight," I heard Tony say.

"Alright, thank you," thanked Ben.

"Thanks, Tony!" I called from the bathroom before he left.

"So, ready to get started?" Kim asked Ben.

"Yep, let's do this."

I put my contacts in and checked myself in the mirror again.

They looked great.

I returned to the others to see Ben in a chair by the table with a lamp with Kim starting on his face paint.

She started with the outline that began around his eyes, down his cheek, and stopped just right above his beard. She then started outlining the feathers within the wings. It was a bit of a tedious process, but it always paid off. She then began filling in the spaces with a lighter paintbrush. The outlines were all a slightly darker shade to help with the realism of the feathers. The trickiest part was filling in around the eyes, which required the most delicate of time, but she nailed it like a pro. She completed her work and the end result was a perfect pair of white angelic wings that went over his eyes and down his face. It was a beautiful job that she was proud to show by bringing up a mirror for him.

"Damn, not bad at all," he complimented. "Might be slightly uneven at the bottom, but not bad at all."

I rolled my eyes with a sigh.

"Ignore him. He's just O.C.D," I told her and she laughed while Ben shook his head.

"She exaggerates from time to time," Ben retorted and I stuck my tongue out at him.

"Well, in my defense, this is my first time doing it on an actual face," Kim explained.

"Which I figured, so no worries," Ben nodded.

"Yeah, you're just being nice now," I joked, "you O.C.D son of a bitch."

"Oh, like you're any better about your makeup or face paints being spot on."

"That's because the main roster makeup artists always screwed up on mine 'cause they are dumb assholes," I retorted.

"Oh, sure, keep blaming it on them to excuse yourself," he came back with a cheeky grin.

I gave the 'Oh really' face and crossed my arms. His grin just became more shit-eating-like.

"Well, mine wasn't as often of a paint job as yours, though, but they could have at least practiced or something," I stated. "Either that or that twat Vince could hire better people, probably would be better if he let Steph and Hunter run it."

"No arguments here," Ben nodded.

"Of course, he could have easily assigned me the worst ones just because he's a dick, that is if he had one."

Ben and Kim laughed.

"Well, I don't think we'll have that problem now," he proudly gestured to Kim, who blushed with a slight bow.

"True," I smirked, "and she is much cuter than the others."

They were both a little surprised by that comment, Kim even blushing some.

"Thank you," she almost laughed, perhaps not knowing what else to say. "So, uh... I guess it's your turn now?"

"I don't do makeup, besides face paint on special occasions," I informed and she seemed surprised.

"Really?" She asked, seeming a little disappointed.

"Yeah, it's just not for me, never has been. I'm sorry if that messes with your job or offends you in any way."

I suddenly started to feel bad.

"No, it's OK, actually makes my job easier," she smiled with assurance. "But, on those special occasions, I can make your paint just as sick."

She winked promisingly and I smiled, not doubting the paint job she could do for those occasions.

"Well, my job here is done. So, I'll let you two rest and prepare for tonight; and maybe I'll see you both after the show?" She smiled with hope as she gathered her belongings.

"Yeah, we'll see," I nodded.

"That would be great," Ben agreed.

"Cool! Well, good luck tonight, guys! Have fun out there," she smiled before heading for the door.

We thanked her for everything and she gave us a wave before exiting our locker room.

She was sweet.

"What the fuck was that?" Ben asked as soon as she left.

"What was what?" I asked with a confused look on my face.

"The flirting?" He asked like it was obvious.

"Flirting?!" I almost laughed. "Wha- I was just complimenting her."

"Yeah, you forget, I've been glued to you most of my life. I can tell when you're being nice and when you're sweet talking, even if you can't; and YOU were on a smooth sail with the makeup artist," he smirked.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," I said shrugging. I couldn't even look at him.

"Uh-huh, sure you don't," he kept that smug look on his face.

I continued to ignore him while turning the TV monitor on. Big Bang Theory is on before the show, a great way to keep track of when we head out since it'll be part of the show's opening segment. Thankfully, Ben didn't press any further about my so-called "flirting," and I tried not to think about it. It helped that he received a message from Little Miss Bliss wishing us both the best for tonight and sending her love. He sent her a thanks from both of us and told her he loved her back. We watched TV and played a few games that we could while also doing our pre-show routines: stretches, shadow boxing, meditating, and even praying.

Then finally, after a short while, the knock on the door came. It opened to reveal a backstage producer with the guard.

"It's time! All aboard," he nodded back to the golf kart behind him, which had black drapes around the backseat so nobody would see us.

'The lengths that this company would go to for their wrestlers. Honestly, not even WWE would do this.' I thought as I grabbed my claws and me and Ben got on, making sure no one could see us. 'Of course, Tony knows this would bring in more views and more money. I just hope he treats us better than Vince did; that's all I ask of him. If he does, then I don't care about bringing in more views and money.'

The security guard closed the drapes once we were in, surrounding us in black, before hopping in the passenger side with the producer. Me and Ben grabbed the handles as they began driving us to our destination. We were starting to get anxious since we were now closing in on our debut. We traded a glance with each other, both with exciting grins, while approaching our destination. After a few moments, or what nearly felt like an eternity, the kart came to a stop.

We then feel the direction shift as we start going backward. We stop again before hearing the kart being turned off. A moment later and the drape was opened.

"Right this way, please," the producer instructed and we stepped out of the kart.

We were now in a much more open hallway right outside the arena itself. Only our pathway was closed off by rolling racks with the same black drapes they put on the golf kart. The producer and the guard let us through the small walkway that led to a small waiting room for us. It looked like the type of room some workers would go to for a little coffee break. It had tables, chairs, a counter for all the beverages with a soda machine, and a TV monitor in the upper corner.

"As soon as it's time, we'll come to get you and they'll help escort you both through the crowd," the producer informed and we thanked him.

We both took a seat at the table and watched the monitor as the show began. We continued to grow excited as the opening minutes progressed, which drew us closer to our debut. As we waited, I slipped the claws back on and made sure they were firmly strapped.

I then waved the claws at Ben, making him laugh before pretending to scratch at him while he pretended to be the helpless victim. We both laugh and then stop once we hear Chris's music.

We both started to sing to it softly.

'He looks so good,' I thought as I watched the screen, not taking my eyes off it. 'It's been a while since we saw each other in person. It sucked, but that's all in the past now.'

I heard Ben softly chuckle, breaking me out of my thoughts. I looked over at him in confusion.

"What?" He asked once he noticed me.

I realized the crowd had been chanting, "Sammy Sucks!" I chuckled a little myself before Chris gave them his response and offered for Ricky to join the JAS. Starks had a funny reaction before speaking about Chris, even stating how a few months ago, he was built like an "Airfryer."

'I always think he looks great honestly,' I thought to myself, but what he said next was even crazier.

"You're lean, you're mean, you're shredded, you're dressed like a single father on his 5th divorce!"

Me and Ben both started laughing at that brilliant comment. However, deep down, I was also a little distraught by that.

I have known Chris for too long. I could easily tell that bugged him a bit, even though he easily hid it well, but he couldn't from me. We could almost read each other like we have this unspoken language that only we understand. It's like that with me and Ben, too. It is similar but different. It's our own.

When we met years ago, he and I became instant friends. It took a bit for him and Ben to warm up to each other before becoming friends. If I wasn't with Ben, I was with him, and vis-versa. I made other friends along the way, including Hardy Boyz. We enjoy having fun goofing off. Hell, between Jeff and Chris, I learned to play the guitar and drums, but not as great as them. Of course, the Fozzy band helped teach me, too.

Starks continues, earning more laughs from me and Ben when he calls Sammy and Daniel "JAS-holes." Then, soon afterward, states that the J in JAS should stand for Jobbers. He was on a roll with his hilarious roast of Chris and his group. I could even tell even Chris himself was pretty impressed.

It was at that time when the producer opened the door, informing us it was time. Me and Ben looked at each other excitedly.

"You ready for this?" He asked.

"You know it! Let's go," I replied and off we headed to shock the world.

3rd person pov:

Chris and the JAS are now ganging up on Stark in the ring. The audience is desperately awaiting someone to come out and assist the rising star, but they never expected what happened next...

https://youtu.be/-RRCM228C0c

Jericho stopped what he was doing and looked up at the stage with a confused look on his face. That is one of his songs.

Even more bizarre, the camera shot started at the feet of two individuals. As the song quickly built up, so did the camera, panning up with the rhythm of the song. Halfway up, Chris and everyone started to notice the familiar attires, including a distinct pair of claws messing around and a pair of tactical skull gloves clasping each other.

A question quickly rose in the minds of its viewers, especially Chris': Could it really be them?!

They had their answers when the camera panned up, revealing the faces of the two individuals that sent the crowd into a frenzy. The White Wolf Racheal Moonster and the Iron Angel Daniel Dalton, together again and looking as determined as ever. Everyone watching launched from their seats, excitement, and disbelief exploding in such a way that the song barely became audible anymore. The most shocked of all faces was none other than Chris Jericho himself, whose expression said it all on behalf of the crowd.

Then, just a moment later, the lights went out; and with that, the song came to an abrupt stop.

A solid minute of high anticipation passes with a crowd biting its nails for what happens next. When the lights return, the arena erupts, and the JAS has their attention drawn to the two corners on opposite sides of the stage, where the same two individuals were now perched on the top.

The one with the claws had a bat, but that bat looked very familiar. Chris looked down to see his bat was gone and now perched on his former protégé's shoulders. He was shocked, as was everyone in the ring. Racheal could even tell he had a hard time remaining in character from seeing them but was doing a fine job as he always did.

The others didn't know why they were there or who they were helping as the fans started chanting, 'This is Awesome.'

The two looked at each other and then back at the others. They both jumped down at the same time and then, without hesitation, started attacking the JAS. Racheal hits Chris with his own bat while Ben, now Daniel Dalton, goes to the purple hat-wearing Hagar. He nailed the big man with his Heaven's Light Codebreaker before moving to Sammy. Garcia tried to help, but Starks had recovered in time to fight him off. Moonster also assisted by nailing each JAS member with the bat. Jericho looked to almost recover and regain the numbers advantage for his team, but Action Andretti's music hit suddenly, sending the crowd into another frenzy, and the newcomer appeared to join the fight. Chris tried to put a stop to his efforts, but Action was too quick for him, springboarding to knock him down before Hagar attempted his save. He ended up going over the ropes while Moonster, Dalton, and Starks made quick work of Sammy and Danny. Chris made it back to his feet and was welcomed by a Faith-Breaker Stunner from Daniel. To top it all off, Andretti landed a split-leg moonsault for the second straight week. Chris was finally saved by his teammates as they pulled him outside and the JAS went into full retreat. The four in the ring stood tall and proud, the crowd still going nuts over the arrival of the Wolf and the Angel, along with the return of the new young stud, Action. Starks and Andretti both shared fist bumps and handshakes with the new arrivals, both of whom looked beyond ecstatic to be standing here in the middle of All Elite Wrestling.

Moonster also did a funny little dance while showing off the shirt she had, earning laughs from the crowd while mocking Chris and his group; but even then, she could tell he was impressed. Racheal and Daniel were both given mics from ringside. They observe the wild crowd, getting a real feel of the massive energy in the room before Daniel speaks first.

"The Iron Angel and the White Wolf have risen in A. E. W!!!"

The audience cheered again before Racheal followed.

"Did you miss us?!"

The audience continued its roar, not letting up on the electric atmosphere.

"It feels great to be back in a ring again, let alone in front of an audience as different as all of you!" They appreciated that nod she gave, taking pride in how different they were.

Dan spoke next.

"Now, we know what y'all are thinking, 'Yay more ex-wwe guys coming into the fray!'" That earned a few laughs itself. "But that's the beauty about this place. It doesn't matter where you were, only where you are now; and now, the White Wolf and the Iron Angel are All Elite!!!" The audience let them know just how ecstatic they were by that fact.

Racheal howls in excitement, she receives howls in return from the fans.

"God, I love you guys, but what I don't love is this stupid orange sweater," the White Wolf said while laughing. "You could have made it any other color, like that purple of his hat."

She points to Hagar's hat with the bat as everyone laughs.

"Yeah, but that's a funny-looking hat for a big guy to wear; and frankly Jake, it doesn't do you too many favors," Daniel smirked as others laughed and Jake didn't seem too pleased.

Racheal was also losing it over that comment and Chris, having always loved seeing her laugh, struggled to break character once again. As a legend though, he managed.

"Then again, if you think about it," Racheal continued, "it makes them quite the fitting duo, the hat, and the bat."

The crowd laughs more as she swings the stolen bat around, partially in a mocking manner too. Chris shouts at her for having his bat while his team tries to back him up.

"It is a nice bat, Chris," she joked, but her mood quickly changed. "But in all seriousness, we're here because we want to remind the world of wrestling who we are, do what we do best, and have fun doing it; but to do that, we knew we would have to deal with you lot eventually. So, here we are, getting it out of the way and ensuring you and your little Lost Boys ripoff gang stay out of our way!"

The audience loved that clever insult, but the JAS was clearly challenged by that.

Daniel shook his head as he smirked before carrying it on.

"So, Chris, you name the time, you name the place, and you bring any two of those *looks at Ricky* JAS-HOLES... along with either Tay or Anna, it doesn't matter which one because she'll murder both them bitches, and we'll be there with our new pals Action and Ricky to kick your asses AGAIN, but in an official match this time!"

Sammy had to be held back for the comment made about his wife. Safe to say, he'd be one of the JAS representatives in the match, and perhaps the Mrs as well. At the same time, Jericho nodded with vengeance and determination while shouting out to the group.

"We'll see you there! We'll see all of you there you pieces of shit!"

He continued talking trash before Racheal smirked and finished the segment with this:

"Oh, and Chris?! Good seeing you again, old man!"

Chris grew mortified while the crowd gave the biggest "OOOHHH" of the night. The four young stars stood tall in the ring and raised each other's arms, a big moment and a great sight to see before the show went to commercial.
