Chapter 11: Family Rampage
Demi (a.k.a Rhea) P.O.V:
Honestly, after the conversation I had with Racheal, my little Pup, and told her about how I felt, it was like a weight that I didn't know I had lifted off of me. I meant what I said, I would love for her to join me and Matt's relationship.
Only if she wants to, that is.
I couldn't make her but after our interaction this morning, I can tell how Matt felt about her too, and would love to keep her as ours. He enjoyed her as I did when she was in this company.
Over time, I ended up doing something that I wasn't meant to let happen, I ended up loving her, I felt so bad and I told Matt about it. I wasn't meaning to do that. When I explained it all to him, he wasn't mad about it honestly, from what he had seen; and when I told him back then, he was intrigued by her. Also, was hoping to get a chance to experience her sexual appetite, and it turned him on when I told him everything we did, including details.
We talked about it before but now it is a sure thing that if Chris was ever to break her heart, after Buddy and I beat his ass, we would then open our arms to her and she would be ours to love and fuck.
Instead of going to the gym like I was supposed to, I ended up just watching the video over and over again, pleasing myself until I couldn't anymore. Seeing those two together got me so hot, she looked like she was enjoying herself and so did Buddy.
He is addicted to her just like I am. He finally sees what I mean. I wasn't lying about her or her body. She felt amazing. I loved watching her boobs move to the beat of our sex. It's why I love it when she rides the strap-on, she just looks hot in general. I know I shouldn't have, especially since I am taken and she has her heart set on someone, but I couldn't help it; I didn't even know I did until it was too late.
Chris is an idiot, honestly. He can't seem to see how she looks at him when everyone else can. She thinks she is hiding it but even a blind man could see it.
So, I don't know why he can't. She would follow him to hell and back. I honestly wish to help her but I can't do much; not just because we are in different companies now, but also the reason being is that I love her and it's hard to help someone you're in love with get with someone else.
I do hope the best for her. Hopefully, whatever happens, she is happy with it.
I heard a knock on my door and went to answer it. As I opened the door, I saw my other best friend, Luis, a.k.a Damian Priest, on the other side.
"What's up, Big Guy?" I asked with a smile as I opened the door wider to let him in.
After entering, he then turned to me as I closed the door.
"Just coming to check on you since you didn't show up to the gym," he said with concern in his voice.
"Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to worry you," I said, wishing I had remembered to message him so he didn't have to worry.
I was so distracted by the video of Pup and Matthew, that I didn't think anything of it.
"What have you been doing?" Asks Luis. "Are you OK?"
"Yeah, I'm OK, Luis," I answered. "I got distracted with talking to Pup and Matt. I didn't mean to make you worry."
"Oh, how is she doing?" He then asked with a smile.
I know he misses her too, the whole Judgment Day crew does, none more than me though.
"She's doing well. It seems she was hanging out with Matt and catching up with him before her first Rampage started," I answered, not really giving him the full details.
It sucks I can't tell him about the agreement we have. He is the closest person, besides Pup and Matt, that I have and I can't tell him.
"I know it hurts that she isn't here anymore but it was for the best," he noted with that deep yet soothing voice of his.
"I know, but it doesn't stop me from missing her," I said sadly. "I hate that Vince screwed her over. If he didn't, she would have stayed here with us."
"I know, we hated how he treated her, and we would have loved her to be part of our group. She fits in so well with us, but she had to do what she needed to survive and keep doing what she loves, and we know she is enjoying herself."
"I know, and I couldn't be happier for her," she nods. "Of course, selfishly, I do hope she's able to come back someday."
"I do too, believe me," Damian chuckles. "Until then, if she does, we just need to remember to stay supportive and hope everything works out for her there."
"I agree," I nodded.
"And let's not forget, she's got her family and her old mentor with her," he reminded. "That's a lot of support with a much more positive environment for her."
"Which I'm most grateful for," I agreed. "I think they'll make things a lot better for her." At least, that's what I hope for, particularly when it comes to her and Chris.
She's kept this hidden for too long. It's about time Chris realizes what he's been missing. I just hope for her sake that it works out for her. If not, I'll do everything I can to be there for her, me and Buddy both.
"So do I," Luis nodded. "Now, come on. It's time to meet up with the others."
"Alright, just remember we don't wanna miss the show tonight," I noted with slight urgency, knowing how important it is to catch their first Rampage tonight.
"We won't forget," he promised as he helped me gather my belongings before leading me out of the room. "Besides, it's kind of hard to forget with you and Lexi reminding us."
I laughed at the joke as we exited the room, locking the door behind us.

Racheal's P.O.V:
After me and Ben had our little talk, we went to get ready for tonight. Once we were suited, which did not yet include Ben's face paint since Kim hadn't arrived yet, we went to find Da again just to go back over everything for tonight. We both like to make sure we have everything down and remembered, as well as that everyone is on the same page, not wanting to leave room for any misunderstanding or mistakes. We saw him down the hall with Mum, who had Brutus and Gus with her. I had her take Brutus home with them last night, even though I know he hates being separated from me, which I feel the same way about, it was just easier for both of us given the circumstances of last night. The dogs perked up upon seeing us. Mum even kindly let Brutus loose so he could run up and reunite with me. I crouched down to give him some love as he licked my face.
"Hehehe, hey, sweet boy," I laughed while petting him. "I missed you too."
I kiss him on the head before grabbing his leash to walk him back to the others. Ben greets Gus again before the big fur baby greets me as well, receiving love in return.
"You two look great," Mum compliments before we share a hug.
"Thanks, we wanted to go the extra mile with how special tonight is," I replied.
"I've got my Sunday best on myself," Da joked, making us giggle, although he does look great for tonight as well.
"Did you have fun with your friends?" Mum asked, which I almost laughed at, especially knowing the side glance I must be getting from Ben.
"Yeah, it was a blast!"
"God..." Ben mutters with a slight eye roll, which causes our parents to look at him confusingly.
"What's that about?" Da asked, which he laughingly smirked at.
"Nothing, just something we were talking about earlier," he says with a glance at me, almost irritated-like, which I almost laugh at myself. "Anyway, we wanted to go over everything again like usual real quick."
"Still keeping things nailed to a T like always," Da smirks with impression. "Alright, let's reexamine."
As we revisit the plans for tonight, I send a quick text to Chris to ensure his team is on the same page. He sends one back to me that ensures everyone knows what is going to happen, expressing the usual excitement he carries when it comes to the job. I smiled at the text, then noticed Mum giving me that cute glance, knowing what I was smiling about. I quietly giggled from her look before sending a quick thank you text to Chris and putting my phone away. We continued discussing the plans for a few minutes before we became certain of everything, confident in our first Rampage together.
"You feeling ready, Da?" I asked him after the conversation concluded.
"I've been ready for something like this for a long time," he eagerly stated, making us all grin with excitement.
Then, our makeup artist arrived, waving as she approached us.
"Hey, Kim!" Ben greeted first.
"Hey, guys! Sorry I'm late," she quickly apologized.
"It's okay," I assured before complimenting her. "You look cute today."
"Oh, here we go," Ben rolled his eyes while Kim chuckled, thanking me and returning the compliment while I told Ben to shut up. "Hehe, well, we better finish getting ready. We'll see y'all before the show."
Everyone agreed before we went our separate ways. As we walked back to our locker room, the aftereffects of my activities with Buddy earlier started catching up with me. I was feeling a little bit of the effects while we were getting ready and now it's really catching up to me. I hissed in a breath as my walk became a little awkward, almost stumbling a bit while having to keep a slow pace. Ben noticed this and grew a bit concerned.
"You alright?"
"Yeah, just..." I quickly glance to see Kim as she walks by us, "was very active earlier and now reeling from it all."
Ben rolls his eyes again as he makes us come to a sudden halt.
"You go ahead, Kim, we'll catch up," he informs and she nods before continuing onward. "Alright, be honest, are you still good for tonight?"
"Yes, of course, you know I can make it work," I assured with slight irritation.
"I'm just making sure, don't want you to pass out or anything during the show," he held up his arms to keep the peace.
I sighed to relax.
"I'll be fine, Bubba, I promise."
He sighs himself before shaking his head a little.
"Alright, just be extra careful;" he advises, but still looks at me like he can't believe me; "and next time, don't... overwork yourself the day of a show, or the night before."
"Mmm... I make no promises," I smirked, receiving another eye roll and groan as he resumed walking.
"I hate you sometimes..." He retorted.
"Hey, at least you know I had a good time," I continued to poke fun at him, causing him to purse his lips in the most unflattering of ways. "Honestly, it really was a blast..."
He then gives me an evil death stare and I can't help but laugh. Then, he suddenly smirks after facing forward again.
"Well, on the bright side, at least this time you'll have a valid excuse for not being able to keep up with me..."
He then walks on ahead of me with those long ass legs of his, which are hard to keep up with anyway, but my current state makes it impossible. The smirk I have quickly fades as I'm now staring daggers at him.
"Asshole!" I remarked, causing him to laugh before he glanced back at me with a loving smile.
He then generously crouches down so I can climb on his back. I'm unable to stay mad at him after that sweet gesture, which I humbly take, allowing him to carry me the rest of the way there.
"You know," he then spoke up again as I piggybacked him, "in a way, even though it was a bit awkward, I am glad we had that talk earlier."
I smiled at his confession before making one myself.
"I know it must be a little weird for you to know that about me now, but I'm glad I no longer have to feel like I'm keeping that from you."
"You weren't, it really wasn't my business to know," he assures with understanding. "I just got a little freaked out and kept overthinking it. Plus, I'd hate for you to think you can't trust me or confide in me about anything."
Chris immediately popped into my head when he said that, something else I've wanted to confide in him about, but never could. That's one of the reasons why I've grown so close to Demi is that I've been able to tell her everything. I want to tell him as well and hope to someday when the time comes, hoping he'll be as understanding as he promises to be, but that sense of worry for the worst is always there, lingering in the back of my mind no matter what. For now, I keep it on the task at hand but stay honest.
"It's not that, I just... I don't want you to think differently of me, which I hope you don't now."
He looks at me sympathetically, but with the same love he's always had.
"Of course not, I could never," he says before gently bumping his head into mine. "If anything, I kinda feel jealous in a way."
I grow confused as we near our locker room.
"Jealous? Why?"
He stops near the door as he has a slight frown.
"Because you have someone here you can share that with any time you need."
I also frown as I already know what he means now. He misses her so much, especially after getting to travel with her for so many years. He's talked with Demi in the past about having to adjust before switching companies and I know he'll do the same with Buddy and Malakai when needed, but it's still a big challenging thing for him to get used to. Plus, I had to go through the same thing with Chris.
I grab his face and give him a gentle kiss on the cheek, making him make eye contact with me.
"I understand, Bubba, trust me. Don't ever forget I'm here to talk it out too if you ever need."
He gives me a small smile before lightly touching our heads together again. He then carries me to our locker room so he can get his face paint on and we can get this Rampage underway.

3rd person P.O.V:
"It's Friday and you know what that means!" Excalibur begins after the usual video intro and pyro kicks off the show with the usual pop from the crowd. "I'm Excalibur alongside Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone, and Chris Jericho, and what a night we have for you on Rampage!"
"How right you are Excalibur!" Tony replies. "We are fresh off an incredible Holiday Bash this past Wednesday night and the action continues here on Rampage!"
"I don't know what was so 'incredible' about it," Jericho retorts. "It was one of the worst nights ever for the JAS and in the entire career of Chris Jericho."
"Well, be that as it may," JR replies, "we have a big two-hour event for you, folks! A lotta action and a lotta thrills comin' your way!"
"But first," Tony brings up, "ladies and gentlemen, I am being told by Tony Khan that we have a special announcement to kick off tonight's Rampage!"
Chris grows confused.
"Wait, what announcement? I didn't hear anything about this."
Tony has to ignore him to signal the announcer in the ring.
"Take it away our Dapper Yapper, Justin Roberts!"
The show cuts to the infamous ring announcer inside the squared circle.
"Ladies and gentlemen! Tony Khan has asked me to announce that starting tonight, Rampage will have its very own General Manager!" The audience grows shocked by the news before he continues. "At this time, please welcome the new General Manager of Rampage: 'Big Mac' Dyna Lowe!!!"
The local Texas crowd roars for their local hero as the wrestling legend's theme song hits.
https://youtu.be/1SmD6tIJu5c
"LET'S RIDE!" The audience echoes the line with the song as it plays.
Along with it, the thundering sound of a Harley Davidson began to rumble through the arena. A second later, the new General Manager himself rides out onto the stage. The ruckus crowd gives him a warm welcome to the land of All Elite as he stops the bike on the stage, observing the electric audience. He increases their excitement by revving his bike a bit, feeling the energy this amazing home state audience is bringing. He then looks over to the announcer's table, giving his old friend JR a cowboy's salute and receiving one in return. He then spots Chris Jericho and smirks at him, obviously irritating the JAS leader who's already not too thrilled about seeing his old rival from the past, especially after losing to his kids just two nights ago. Big Mac begins rolling down the ramp, his motorcycle rumbling all through the stadium. He takes his time rolling down the ramp, not wanting to lose his cowboy hat while increasing the anticipation, and circling the ring, given how slightly awkward that can be with a motorcycle. Thankfully, he has plenty of experience with it. Everyone keeps cheering as he strolls around the ring, some of the front row members with their hands out, until he returns to the ramp. He then parks the bike there and switches it off before stepping off. He's dressed nicely in a dark buttoned-up shirt to match his hat with blue jeans, a belt, and boots; looking like a true Western hero.
He greets some of the front-row fans before walking up the steps and entering the ring. Once inside, he raises both arms, earning a loud reaction from San Antonio. He is then given a microphone from ringside while glancing around the arena, taking in the reactions that never get old. Eventually, his music fades, replaced by the non-stop chants that now fill the large room. They repeatedly echo his name with stomps and claps that vibrate straight to the legend's heart. He can feel the hair standing on his arms accompanied by goosebumps. All together, the moment brings a wide smile to the face of the new arrival.
"What's up, All Elite Wrestling?!" He calls out into the microphone to which the crowd cheers. "And you all heard the man correctly, I am your new General Manager of Friday Night Rampage!" They grow even more excited with that confirmation. "I've kept a close eye on this company since it first started a few years ago, the company that many have called the future of professional wrestling, and I'm always proud to play my part in helping to shape that future, especially when my very children are a part it!"
Everyone grows excited again at the mention of his kids.
"I gotta say, having my kids in a place where they're valued and respected means the world to me; and
seeing both of them in a ring again, let alone gainin' a massive win over a faction that's... supposed to be dominant, or at least that's what their leader says..."
The audience reacts as he looks over to Jericho at the announcer's desk, who of course doesn't look pleased.
"Actually, you know what?" He asked while going over to the ropes, leaning on them with his arms over the top. "Just seeing my kids kick the same ass that I used to kick is enough to make a grown man cry," he states with a mocking grin while laughter fills the stadium.
"Yeah, real funny," Chris retorts. "I'll give him something to cry about..." He sounds like an angry child with that statement.
"But don't worry," he then notes as he returns his attention to the crowd. "I'm not here to play favorites to my kids or anyone for that matter! I'm here to see that anyone back there who wants a fair shot, who's willing to bust their ass for it, gets one, and to bring out the absolute best in any man or woman who is willing to give their best night in and night out! Which, is why my first order of business will be that every Rampage from this point forward will be a two-hour show!"
The crowd cheers since AEW fans have waited for this since Rampage began. Big Mac proudly grins at the reaction being granted from the reveal, a mixture of shock and excitement being expressed by the audience.
"But you know, speaking of my kids..." The fans get excited again. "We all made it here because of each other, and we came here all together, so I think it's only fair that we make this a family moment. So, will my two kiddos please come out here and join me?"
The fans grow excited again while he smiles. Their reactions become even louder once their music hits.

The White Wolf and the Iron Angel both step out simultaneously, both grinning ear to ear. They both do their poses on the stage before glancing over at Chris and mockingly waving at him.
"Yeah, hi, nice to see you both again," Chris retorts from the announcer's table. "You're welcome for the song, by the way! Honestly, I should sue them both for copyright infringement."
"Yeah," Tony scoffs.
"Well, good luck with that, Chris," JR replies while the two siblings begin marching down the ring.
They celebrate with some of the front-row members until they reach it. Just like last Wednesday on Dynamite, they each climb up a separate corner before striking a pose, Racheal howling while her brother raises his arms like wings. All the while, their father proudly claps and welcomes them. They both step down inside the ring before hugging their dad, first Daniel and then Racheal. Big Mac lets their music fade before continuing to speak.
"To be honest, there's no way I could have this moment without either of you. Seeing what you two can accomplish in this ring is what keeps my love for this business going. You two are what inspired me to take this position to begin with; and as long you both are giving it your all here, then so will I."
The arena applauds as the two siblings smile with flattery, feeling just as proud of their father as he is of them.
"But like I said before, I'm not here to give either of you any sort of advantage, not that you really need any. Hell, you proved this past Wednesday that together, you can take on anyone, even those who claim to be the most dominant group in this industry." They chuckle while glancing back over to Jericho as the fans react. "So now, all I'll hafta do is just sit back and have the best seat in the house while you two become the best in All Elite Wrestling!"
The fans cheer as the Wolf and the Angel grin and share a fist bump with their father.
"Alright! Alright! That's enough!" Chris speaks into a microphone he had on hand, garnering boos for interrupting this moment. "If I have to sit here through any more of that, I'll puke!"
The McFarland trio all glares down at Chris as he moves from the desk and onto the center stage.
"I know that this is a touching family reunion moment for you three, not that anyone outside of this stupid state cares, *more boos follow* but don't think for a second that just because your kids got lucky this past Wednesday that it means anything! You two are still just the new kids around here while the Jericho Appreciation Society is STILL the most dominant faction in AEW, and you three will learn to respect the greatest wrestler of all time, the Demo God, Chris Jericho!"
The three family members all glance at each other with wide eyes and laughing smiles before Racheal speaks up.
"Yeah, so great that you lost to two former proteges with your society!"
"OOOHHH!" The arena echoes as they feel the burn of that statement, especially Chris.
It gets worse with what Daniel adds.
"You know, tell us, Chris, we're all curious: how exactly is a group so dominant just for the soul purpose kissing its leader's ass?" That gets the same reaction before he continues with, "It sure didn't help much with the match, nor is it helping with your fragile bruised ego!"
Chris dryly smirks before Racheal speaks again.
"It seems that the so-called 'Demo God' is no match for an Angel of Iron or a Hound of Hell! Finally found a weakness here, Chrissy boy?!"
"Laugh it up, children, laugh it up!" Chris cracks. "It's pretty easy for you two now that your daddy is here!"
Now Chris is the one earning an "OOHH" from the crowd, but a "Oooo" from the two youngsters with a brief chuckle.
"Honestly, you two better hope that he does pull some of his power to protect you because nobody disrespects or embarrasses the Jericho Appreciation Society and gets away with it!"
The family clan just laughs again before Racheal speaks.
"Oh, what you gonna do? Send your little fan club after us like you tried to on Dynamite? *scoffs* Send 'em all Chris! Your two former proteges, the best ones you ever had I might add, well take 'em down one by one; and when we get back to you, Mr. Demo God... this ferocious Hellhound will chew you up and spit you out!"
The fans cheer before Daniel responds.
"Well, hold on, sis; no disrespect, but that's only IF I don't get to him first; of course, in either case, Chris, we'll beat your ass far worse than our father used to!"
Everyone cheers again while Big Mac proudly smirks. However, Jericho is smirking as well, much more evilly.
Suddenly, the JAS theme sounds off, resulting in the Jericho Appreciation Society stepping out behind their glorious leader, all except for Tay Melo and Daniel Garcia at least, who are likely still recovering from the match last Wednesday. Nevertheless, their numbers are still much greater than those in the ring. The McFarland clan all grow more serious as they stand together, prepared for anything.
"Well, guys, since this is a family reunion, might as well bring out everyone! Shall we?!" Chris gleefully says before the team marches to the ring.
However, they stop dead in their tracks as the fans' worries become replaced by cheers, cheers by the sudden appearance of Action Andretti and Ricky Starks. They just rush out from the crowd and enter the ring, standing tall with their new allies while daring the opposing faction to challenge them. The JAS are now more unsure of their chances. They may still hold a slight advantage, but not a great one, not against this united bunch. They remain in a standoff for a brief moment before Dyna speaks again.
"As much as I would love to run it back to the days when I was slappin' you around, I'm too old and too beat up for that now." The people laugh before he continues. "So, tell you what, Chris: If you value your position on Rampage, I suggest you tell your fan club to go back and sit tight, and sit yo ass back behind that announcer's desk..."
Another long "OH" echoes through the room as the angered stable stares them down, but they have no other choice but to retreat. However, before they can get far, Daniel lifts his mic back up.
"And Sammy! Anna!"
The two singled-out members turn to see Daniel with his arm around his sister.
"We'll be seeing you both next week!"
"And it's gonna be fun!" Racheal grins while the audience cheers again.
Sammy and Anna glare at them before following their group toward the backstage.
"Alright, now let's get this Rampage on the road!!!" Big Mac announces before his music hits again.
The family gave Ricky and Action high-fives and bro hugs. They then left the squared circle and when they passed Chris, Moonster stuck out her tongue as her brother gave him the middle finger. The others laughed at their antics while Chris angrily shook his head with an eye roll.
