"Are you okay?" Sukriti heard a faint voice and felt someone gently patting her cheek!

She tried to look at the person staring at her but her eyes struggled a bit to open her eyes fully.

She experienced a shooting pain at both temples of her forehead.

"Sukriti, drink some water"Kunal gently caught her hand and made her drink some water.

She realised who the person is and broke into tears instantly.

Don't know what got into her, She just hugged him tightly without a second thought.

Kunal got surprised by her actions and gave a goofy smile taking her into his arms a bit protectively.

"Calm down, You are safe"

"No one will harm you in my presence" He patted her shoulder and caressed her back.

She gained her senses back and realised what did she do a second ago.

Kunal released her from his arms and sat before her looking straight into her eyes.

She has no guts to meet his eyes, she sat in front of him lowering her head blushing hard.

Kunal smiled noticing the red ting on her cheeks.

He chuckled slightly biting his lower lip trying to catch her attention.

She looked around avoiding his gaze and found where exactly she is?

She is in Kunal's house, sitting on his bed.

Kunal caught her confusion and spoke giving answers to her unspoken questions.

"It's my home and......this is my bedroom," He whispered the second half of the sentence in her ear, leaning forward.

She doesn't know what to say and how to react.

This sudden proximity is making her heart leap.

He could listen to her racing heart and it made him ecstatic.

The gleam in his eyes, the smugness on his face made her proud.

She lifted her head quickly to capture his precious expression.

She never experienced such love and administration from the opposite gender.

Her father and brother never treated her nicely, they always feel women are useless.

She faced gender discrimination from the moment she was born.

She hates it, sometimes she feels like ending her life but somehow consoles her heart reminding it her mother.

Kunal got worried about the sudden change in her expression.

He cupped her face and looked straight into her eyes.

She is crying again and he badly wanted to know the reason behind her tears.

Something is bothering her greatly and he needs to find it out at any cost.

"Shhh!" He wiped her tears with his thumb and gently caressed her cheek.

"I need to go, it's too late"

"Mom will be waiting for me," She said a bit curtly, pushing his hand away.

She stepped down from bed hastily, searching for her things and handbag.

"Wait, I will drop you at home" He caught her hand in time and she saved her from stumbling and falling.

She jerked her hand hurriedly, trying to get rid of his grip.

Kunal got angry with her rejection and glared at her.

His anger is so new to her and his fierce eyes feared her the most.

She gulped audibly and he looked at her scared face in guilt.

"Sorry...." He stammered and looked away.

She caughthis hand in worry, he misunderstood her and it's evident.

It doesn't she like him, she is truly afraid of Rajesh.

She is well aware of her father and his prejudice.

He will probably kill him if she befriends him.

She slumped on the bed crying bitterly.

She knows he likes him and she wants to give him a chance in this relationship.

Kunal is well-educated and a decent guy a girl would ask for, What more she wants?

The mere thought of ending this relationship before giving a proper start stabbed her heart deep.

She swallowed all her pain and tears silently.

Kunal has no idea what's happening to her?

She was happy a second ago, now she is crying so bitterly.

He wanted to hug her, console her but stopped thinking about the rejection he received a second ago.

He doesn't know what to do!

He kept looking at her in defeat with a miserable face.

"Sorry....." She suddenly apologised and wiped her tears reading the confusion in his thoughts.

"Thank you" She took two long strides and almost reached the door.

She realised something and turned around hurriedly to see Kunal glancing at her with a sullen face.

"Where is he?"She took a deep breath and questioned him closing her eyes in fear.

"I know he won't leave me?!"

"How did you bring me here then?!"She mumbled

Kunal smiled at her innocence, she has no idea what he is capable of?

He walked to her with a contentful grin and answered

"Where else!?Police station"

She didn't expect this answer truly.

This answer came as a true and beautiful surprise.

She smiled and it turned into surprised laughter.

There is someone who stood on behalf of her.

This guy has the guts to fight with the devil.

She ran to him and hugged him.

Kunal hugged her back looking into her eyes.

"I listened to your conversation with him."

"I am sorry, I couldn't stop him from hurting you"

"I promise you, I will make that b*sta*d rot in hell for raising hand on you, "Kunal said honestly which won her heart.

She blushed on remembering how shamelessly she admitted to Rajesh that he likes Kunal.

Kunal could guess what is she thinking now?

"Don't think much, We both know we like each other"

"No need to hide it for others" He tried to convince her.

She simply nodded in agreement.

They both withdrew from the hug and looked at each other with a pleasant smile.

"I know something is bothering you, please let me know what's your problem," Kunal said almost begged Sukriti.

She knows she has to tell him the truth now.

It's important to tell him the truth before giving this relationship a chance.

He has all the right to know the truth.....
