FRIDAY.
// 8:00 AM

━━TWO DAYS HAVE PASSED AND BAKUGOU couldn't get any less awkward.

It was always around you.

Never to anyone but to you.

The boys even tried to encourage him to confess since he already got a half approval from your cousin.

At first, the image of you both dating was something strange of Bakugou to picture.

But time flew by and he'd find himself unconciously thinking about the idea more often.

Although everytime he'd try to confess, failure always seemed to meet him.

. . .

"You can do it bro!"

"You got this!!"
"We believe in you!"

"Shut up, you squealing pigs." Bakugou grunts.

(A/N: Omfg Miya?;0)

They entered the classroom where they found you on your seat, playing mobile games like you often do since it's your hobby.

He walks stiffly to his seat and sat down while his companions continued to guard and watch their buddy silently.

'L/N means a damn whole lot to me, I better fucking show how much she means to me.' Bakugou internally thinks, trying to motivate himself.

"Morning Bakugou!" You happily greeted him.

Catching him off guard, he began to be nervous again and his mind subconciously functioned on it's own before he could manage to think.

"Go die."

'What the fuck is wrong with me..'

. . .

Anyways, today is the day UA students move into their dorms.

Bakugou and some others were already there.

His eyes would occassionally wander around but in reality, he'd actually steal glances at the entrance if you've already entered.

Kirishima, Kaminari and Sero were present already as well.

"Eiyo Mr. Candidate!" Kaminari laughs.

"Guess who got approved~" Kirishima starts to happily dance.

And then they began to continuously tease him purely out of entertainment to satisfy their boredom.

When Bakugou was about to lose himself, you suddendly popped out of no where.

"Good morning!!!" You screamed with a bright grin.

"SHUT UP DOLLFACE WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" He yells.

You happily giggled. "Nothing! Just excited~"

Seeing you so upbeat and cheery more than usual made Bakugou's heart go off again.

Out of habit, you ranted how you brought your video games, DVD's and board games with you- and how you'd spend a lot of fun with everyone.

Bakugou almost lost his cool there, seeing a living, breathing ball of sunshine near him.

"And most importantly, I'd get to spend time with you more!" You sqeauled in delight.

Poor boy, his heart got strucked by Cupid's fucking arrow again.

"You know.. I may be stupid but I noticed you kept ignoring me for the past days." You frowned.

Usually, you'd always pucker your lips when you get upset.

But right now- you were frowning.

He noticed this change and boy did he feel bad.

The blondie badly wanted to hug you and tell you that it was because he was being a pussy to confess his feelings.

But he couldn't- he just can't.

The boys gasped dramatically from the background while Kaminari chomped on his snack bar.

Bakugou pursed his lips before ruffling your hair. "I wasn't. I just needed time to wonder why you suddendly got a thousand times attractive.."

You widened your eyes while the boys gasped even louder as Kaminari's snack bar fell on the ground making him cry like the adorable idiot he is.

The blondie blushed by his choice of words as you both continued to stare at each other, flustered.

"S-so um... do you want to stargaze sometime?" You suggested after building up courage.

Bakugou shows a small smile and pulls his hand from your head to tuck it in his pockets. "Sure."

You return it with a wide and warm smile.

. . .

After everyone took turns to check each other's furnished rooms, they all settled in and slept as their first night at the dorm.

It was around 8:40 and you continued to play video games in your play station like you always do.

(A/N: Watchdogssss)

Your dorm was like your room having all the photos, posters and everything.

Even your video games and DVD's were  there.

You wore your most comfortable and loose pajamas and an oversized hoodie.

Just when you finished playing, your phone vibrated, signalling a notification.

You instantly put your joystick down and bolted to open your phone.

When you saw Bakugou as your notification, you grinned happily.

It didn't even matter what was on it.

You were simply happy that he texted you first.

(A/N: These are your contact name in your phone btw)

. . .

Blasty!
Oi

Stupid:(
Bakugou!!
>:DD

Blasty!
Wtf. Ur still awake?

Stupid:(
It's not that late??:D

Blasty!
Whatever. Btw..
Want to stargaze w/ me
today?

. . .

You widened your eyes at the unexpected confidence and boldness.

Your heart raced as you typed your response with a big grin.

. . .

Bakugou knocked on your door five times as a 'code' and you immediately opened to let him in.

Closing the door, the boy sweatdropped when he turned to look at you.

You were smiling like crazy and you had to contain your exciteness from spilling out.

"What got you all so pumped up like that, stupid?"

"We just broke the rules and here we are!!" You whispered-yelled.

Bakugou chuckles, as he sees you trying to stay calm.

'Fucking cute...'

How long has it been since he felt this happy around anyone?

Well, no one of course except you.

It's been far too long since he last spent time around you since he always let his fear and nervousness get to him.

"Sorry.." Bakugou grumbled, looking away.

You paused and waited for him to continue as you sat on your bed.

It was very unusual and rare to have Bakugou apologize.

You already saw him during his worst and the boy didn't want to show more of it.

But somehow- when he's with you, things are different.

"I didn't take into consideration of your feelings. You're my.. bestfriend as I said that so myself. So I'm sorry." He says.

You smiled, appreciating his development and change of ways.

It was extremely out of character for him but you knew it had to take him the courage and realization for him to acknowledge another's feelings so you were glad about it.

"I'm not your only bestfriend you know- so I completely understand if you'd want to spend more time with them or if you want alone time with yourself." You smiled.

Bakugou's heart softened.

"I haven't seen your dorm yet by the way."

You walked to slide open the door to the small balcony.

The boy shrugs as he walks with you outside. "You'll see it eventually."

He squat down before you told him to wait since you'd get something first.

"Look Bakugou! I bought these along the way!" You cheerfully showed a box of fireworks.

They were called sparklers. Ones that were less harmful and can be held by the hand.

Bakugou rose a brow in curiousity. "You already thought about stargazing?"

"With you, yeah." You added.

The boy gushed but was hidden because it was dark.

You squat down beside him, a small amount of distance in between you both.

You carefully opened the box and asked if he wanted one, to which he declined, so you lit one yourself.

As it began to emit its lively colors and sparks, your eyes widen in awe.

"Wow~ I still can't get enough of it no matter how many times I keep on seeing these." You lightly giggled.

Bakugou continued to gaze at you.

He was debating if he'd confess now. Because he could clearly hear faint noises from his companions to just go for it in his mind.

Originally, he planned to confess tonight earlier.

It was obviously the perfect time and the perfect place.

Building up courage and confidence again, he stayed silent to obtain them.

"Hey Bakugou, I haven't told you about my parents didn't I?" You mumbled, as your first stick died out.

As you brought out another one and lit it up, Bakugou perked his ears and eyes.

You were right.

You never revealed about your parents as you told him you weren't comfortable talking about them yet.

This clearly got his attention.

"Yeah, you haven't told me yet."

"Ah.." You mumbles and continued to be at daze, watching the second stick slowly die out again.

When it did, you put it down and looked up at the sky.

Bakugou did the same for a while before staring at you again.

Your eyes reflected stars, making your E/C orbs twinkle.

And it certainly made Bakugou's heart race.

The moon and stars tried their best, but he just couldn't look away from you.

"My grandparents told me when people die, they become stars." You softly whispered.

Bakugou pasued before scoffing and looked away. "Well I was raised to believe the dead become ghosts."

You chuckled knowing it was typical of him to say that.

"It was the only way I could see my parents." Your voice quivered, as you muttered it out.

Bakugou's breath hitched and his eyes widened in shock.

"Shit, I didn't mean-"

"No no it's okay. You didn't know." You gently smiled, reassuring him as you brought out another stick to light up.

Despite that, guilt was still written on his face.

"I was eight when my parents died in a villain incident."

"Oh..." Bakugou looks away awkwardly, not knowing what to say.

"For some time I guess I always blamed myself for their deaths because I forced them to buy me that week's jump*. Gosh, me and my addictions, am I right?" You chuckled, easing the atmosphere.

(Jump* - aka weekly shonen jump, a manga magaize that was once printed but is now digital)

Bakugou leans his head back. "I was addicted with them too y'know."

"Up until now I still am." You shrugged, lighting up your fourth stick as the last one died.

You both shared silence for a while.

"So do you still carry that burden or something?"

You shook your head. "Nope! They're dead. I can't do anything about. If I cry or mourn- there's nothing I can do about it cause they're gone. And they won't come back."

It sounds rather harsh of you to say that.

But it was reality and you spoke facts.

"Didn't know you could be so mature dollface."

You laughed lightly.

"Me and my cousin grew up as neighbours- so when they died, his mom took me in and moved to my grandparent's since she thought it'd be better to leave the place they died."

Bakugou simply nods and waited for you to continue.

"At first, I wanted to become a hero to avenge my parents. But I thought my parents wouldn't like it if I would. Because if I do avenge them, what happens next in my hero career? Right?"

Bakugou nods in agreement, continuing to listen.

"So then I decided to become a hero who protect smiles! To spread happiness and hope to everyone. To show that someone cares for them out there and that someone is me. Even if I won't become one I decided that would be my life." You smiled proudly, looking up at the sky.

Bakugou chuckles making you chuckle as well and light up another stick.

"Not lying, but I bet they'd be proud of you if you'd do what you love to do." He smirks.

You smiled brightly as well. "Yeah, I'll continue smiling for them."

"Awh shucks, my last one died out." You pouted, sadly staring at your last one that died.

"Why do you like these anyway?"

You put away the sticks in the box. "They're pretty? Guess they make the colors nice."

Bakugou stares for a while before bringing out his palm and placed them together side by side.

"Here."

You turned your head to him and saw small explosions emitting from his palm.

"If it's the colors you like, then this should be good enough."

Your eyes twinkled and you smiled, lovestrucked.

You scooted close to him. "Can I rest on your shoulder?"

"Hm." He manages to answer, trying to control himself from being flustered.

You then leaned in close to him and set your head on his shoulder as he sets his head on yours.

"That's super pretty too." You softly muttered.

"Don't get close unless you wanna set yourself on fire, doll."

"Yes Bakugou~"

And the boy never got the chance to confess his feelings.

But maybe another time...

He just wants to cherish this for now.
