━━━AFTER DINNER, BOTH 1ST YEAR CLASSES TOOK part in a test of courage.

Sadly excluding the ones who failed the exams.

Class 1-B were assigned to scare your class, 1-A.

And for equality, fate decided to choose who'd be partnered with whom.

To which made Bakugou in a fowl mood.

He was partnered with Todoroki out of the bunch and you were partnered with Midoriya.

The blondie definitely can't wait until it's over.

. . .

"PIXIE BOB!"

Oh?

Seems like the supposedly fun activity took a huge and dark turn.

The villains decided to invite themselves in.

Basically everything was in chaos.

The forest is slowly burning due to the blue fire of a villain's quirk and sleeping gas surrounded the other part.

Making it worse, it happened in the middle of the game meaning that some students have already scattered.

Luckily though, you, Midoriya and some few others haven't take their turns yet so you were with Mandalay, Pixie Bob and Tiger.

"Go back to camp eveyone! And inform Vlad King and Eraserhead!" Mandalay shouts.

You, Midoriya, Ojiro, Mineta, Koda and Iida were the ones left behind.

Terrified is an understament of the emotion you all felt right now.

And as everyone were about to take their leave, you noticed Midoriya who looked reluctant.

"Midoriya?" You mumbled but audible to them.

"Go ahead! I know where Kota is."

You wore a worried look. "Alright.. But make sure you both are all in one piece!"

Midoriya shows a small smile of determination. "You too! Promise?"

You nodded. "Promise."

As you and the others fled away, the villains stared intently.

"Aizawa-sensei!" Iida yells out as he sees his homeroom teacher by the distance.

Your homeroom teacher was currently handling a situation with the so-called villain, Dabi.

It caught the hero's attention and his guard making Dabi stand up and back away from his grasp, although still tied up.

The fire-quirked villain turned his head to look at Aizawa wearing a sadistic smile.

"Oi hero. Are your students important?"

Clicking his tongue, Aizawa took action and pulled him using his scarf.

Only then to have his eyes widen by the sight of Dabi melting.

His blue eyes glowed darkly.

"I hope you can protect them all till the end." He says his final words with a deep and hoarse tone.

(A/N: you burnt chicken nugget, why did you make me love you? :c )

"Sensei! What was that just now?!" Mineta yells in a frightened voice.

Aizawa grits his teeth before yelling back. "Oi! Get inside for safety!"

"Tsk! Fucking villains.." Bakugou grumbles under his breath while walking with the dual-haired boy.

In Todoroki's back was a Class 1-B student that seemed to be unconcious.

But that wasn't of Bakugou's priority.

His thoughts continued to make him worry about you.

At a time like this was most specially the worst.

It's at night, in a forest, dangerous villains with a potential-quirk to kill anyone and what sucked the most-

You weren't with him.

It took all of him to stop exploding in fits with rage, yelling amounts of curses.

But he knew it's better to stay focus.

His stomach was lurching with regret.

He should have forced the heroes with constant irritation to change his partner onto you.

But it wasn't time for that.

Second by second, step by step, beat by beat, his negative thoughts about you continued to make him feel anxious.

Clenching his teeth in anger, he could only hope for the best.

Carrying Kota on his back, Midoriya ran using all the strength he had left.

That was until his eyes met with Aizawa's.

"Aizawa-sensei!" He stops making the hero stop as well.

"Midoriya!--"

A wave of relief washed the hero for a second and by the next, was filled with worry and irritation.

Obviously because Midoriya broke his bones again, is shirtless and have wounds all over him.

"It's been terrible! I have a lot to say but first, I need to tell Mandalay something-" Midoriya rants, forgetting to tell Bakugou was their target.

"Hey!"

"-and please protect and take care of Kota!" Midoriya places the boy down.

"I said 'hey'!"

"Oh and how are L/N and the others? Are they fine?"

"This kid is high- wait.." He grumbles before a confused look contorted into his once irritated face.

"L/N..? I didn't see her. I only saw Iida, Ojiro, Koda and Mineta."

"Ha..?" Midoriya rose a brow.

"Th-that can't be right..! She was with them just a while ago!"

Aizawa furrows his eyebrows before his breath hitched.

Catching the look on his teacher's face, Midoriya widens his eyes.

"No..."

Preventing his tears to fall, the once quirkless boy ran back to Mandalay.

He knew he needs to stay strong.

Remembering how the villains stared at you intently with such a serious face, he wanted to punch himself for being so clueless.

Of course they wanted to kidnap you.

Their target was Bakugou and you were incredibly close with him.

Based on his suspiscion, it's most likely that they wanted to use you as a bait for the ruby-eyed male.

He wasn't sure why they wanted him, but the villain he took out only mentioned Bakugou, not you.

Though he couldn't be too sure or over confident.

Seeing Spinner, a villain, launch his sword of exaggeratingly a bunch of swords to Mandalay, Midoriya leapt and kicked the weapon, scattering them.

"Mandalay!"

The female hero widened his eyes in surprise of the badly beaten student.

"Kota is alright! And Aizawa allowed everyone to use their quirk as he'll take the blame later! Please them using telepathy!"

Mandalay nods.

"I also have something else to tell you and to everybody!--"

The boy stops with a hesitant look in his face.

Exchanging silence, Aizawa was first to break it as he knew time shouldn't be wasted.

"Oi Midoriya! Snap out of it!"

The boy shot his head up but it was clear that his eyes were watery.

Aizawa looks at him with a serious face.

"Don't tell anyone about L/N except the heroes. It will only scare the others more. And I don't want to think what Bakugou may do.."

Gulping the huge lump in his throat, he thoughts. 'Sorry L/N-chan! But I'll save you.. I promise!'

"Please tell everyone one more thing! The villains... At least one of their target is Kacchan!"

"Wait who's Kacchan?!" Mandalay yells as he watches the boy run away before stopping.

"Oh and..!" Midoriya purses his lips before continuing.

"Don't tell my other schoolmates about this but.. L/N-chan, what me and Aizawa-sensei, thnk is.. is that sh-she's been captured.."

Mandalay and Tiger widen their eyes.

Spinner clenches his jaw. "Tsk. They figured it out.."

Midoriya turns to him and his heart pounded loudly. 'S-so.. it's true..?'
