Chapter 26: Hero Team!

The news about the most recent villain attack has spread far and wide but how will that affect you? So sorry for the wait guys I've been slowly getting through finals :p Enjoy!

Tamaki had just recently been released from the hospital, and you were slowly trying to get Kyoko off your back. She kept asking questions about the villain, what the fight was like, and your feelings for Tamaki.

"I keep seeing you guys on the news! U.A.'s always in the spotlight, but this is huge! Look at this picture!" she said, pointing to a slightly blurry picture of you holding the little girl you saved while Tamaki was kneeling on the ground surrounded by paramedics. "You guys almost look like real heroes." she remarked, and you rolled your eyes.

"I mean we are training to be heroes, so...duh." you said, zipping up Kyoko's lunch bag and handing it to her. "Just don't go bragging to your friends that you have such a badass sister."

"Don't worry. I never brag about you." she replied, taking her bag and rushing out the door. You sighed, glad that she never did and also slightly disappointed.

"Oh well." you said to yourself, as you started to make your own lunch for school.

...

You were stopped three times by random strangers on your walk to school. One wanted an autograph, and the other people just wanted to know what was next for you.

"I-I'm still a first year actually. It'll be a while until my debut!" you tried to assure all of the people you talked to, but they didn't seem to be listening to you.

Oh well...

You walked into class a few minutes late and immediately felt everyone's eyes on you. There was a good moment where you just awkwardly stood by the door and stared back at your classmates but Blood King cleared his throat and told you to sit down. You practically ran to your seat, your cheeks burning in embarrassment.

Oh well...

"H-Hey y/n...can we talk after class?" Tamaki whispered to you, his voice soft and hard to read. You weren't sure if he was going to want to talk about something bad or not.

"Sure." you said, biting your bottom lip in agitation. This day was certainly not going the way you had hoped it would.

When lunch started, Tamaki went over and stood by your desk, his black eyes boring into you like two tiny lasers. "What do ya want to talk about?" You asked him. He pressed his lips into a tight line and wrung his hands together nervously.

"I-I just wanted to ask you...I mean I was researching t-things yesterday a-and um well I-I was wondering if you wanted to team up. With me. As a hero team?"

"Like right now?"

"A-Ah w-when we're older I guess! I just really liked w-working with you...you're so amazing and y-you make things better for me. Like y-you calm me down and I'm able to focus on what's in f-front of me."

He clenched his fists together, and stared at you. You looked at him in shock. You were sure that he had had a terrible time yesterday, with the hospital visit and the fighting itself.

"I-I...are you sure?" You asked.

"Of course."

He sounded so sure of his decision, so confident. That made you immensely proud of him and how much progress he had made in such a short time.

"Well then...your idea sounds great to me. We can be like a real power couple! Fighting crime...and making sure that love always prevails in the end!"

Tamaki's face erupted in a dark blush and he immediately turned his face away from you. "W-Why do you have to say cheesy stuff like that?"

"Aw c'mon you know you love it." you replied, giving him a bright ear to ear smile. His eyes flitted over your face before he returned your smile with a more timid one.

"Yeah I do."

...

After the school day was over you wanted nothing more than to just go home and watch t.v! You also wanted to eat dinner really badly, so you said quick goodbyes to your friends and ran out of U.A. High. Wind rushed past your ears, and you smiled to yourself giddily. Tamaki and you as a real hero team! It almost didn't feel real.

"I'll have to work harder!" you exclaimed aloud.

"Yes you will." A cold voice stated, making you freeze in your tracks. There was a good moment of silence, the only noise you heard was the sound of your own heartbeat. But then a dark misty portal appeared beneath your feet and before you could even react or scream you were dragged down.

You landed on the side of your head with a thud, blacking out almost immediately. The floor was cold, almost like tile.

"Looks like we got her...I've been working on my menacing voice..."

"Yeah great...now what...Shigaraki..."

What the hell is happening?

"I just have some...important questions for her."

Your eyelids closed shut as unfamiliar voices began to surround you. This wasn't how you imagined today would end, that was for sure.
