"you don't know the whole story, mom." chaewon started to explain.

but her mother only came off as patronizing and false as she interrupted her. her words were an attempt to sound kind, but there was a tone of hostility shining through. "i know that you took her sister's boyfriend from her."

chaewon felt her jaw drop in disbelief. even after sending her away for three years and not having heard her side of the story back then, her mother was doing the same now.

judging her before hearing her side of the story. they didn't know the real rin, and they were so quick to take her side. it hurt chaewon to see that her mother didn't seem the least bit torn about having to make a choice.

"all i'm asking is that you stop hitting on namjoon, for your sister's sanity. if you love her, you will do this."

so R has been working there longer than F and me, about 3 years longer than me. F has been working there about six months more than me. R has always kinda been there. 

i mean, i always thought he was handsome. but i never thought about him as a potential crush. he's always been more quiet and doesn't talk to many people. but i remember helping him once when he overbrewed coffee and it was spilling all over the counter.

and he told me, "thanks for helping me out." 

but that was literally all the contact we had until now.
